Because of the open deployment, sensors are vulnerable for security threats. In this paper we address the data aggregation and security issues together. In our approach, we modify our Energy efficient Cluster Based Data Aggregation (ECBDA)[1] scheme to provide secure data transmission. Since, sensors nodes are low powered in nature, it is not viable to apply standard cryptography methods. Cluster head performs data aggregation and Bayesian fusion algorithm to enable security. Trust is the directional relationship between two sensor nodes. By checking the trustworthiness of a node, we can enable secure communication. Bayesian fusion algorithm calculates the trust probability of a sensor based on the behavior of the node. The simulation results show that our approach effectively detects the untrustworthy nodes with minimum energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114970495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the mechanical load is applied to induction motor which requires speed control, some of the drive and controlstrategies are based on the estimated axis speed of the motor. The speed measurement directly reduces its stability and increases the cost of drive implementation. This paper proposes an alternative methodology for estimating the speed of a three phase induction motor driven by a voltage source inverter, using space vector modulation under the scalar control strategy and based on artificial intelligent controller such as fuzzy, neural and adaptive neuro fuzzy system. To validate the performance of the proposed method under motor load torque and speed reference set point variations, simulation results are presented. The simulation results validates under no load, constant load as well as variable load of the proposed method and confirms ability to use induction motor speed control inpractice. The dynamic modeling, simulation and analysis of induction motor using Conventional, PI, Fuzzy Controller, ANN and Adaptive neuro fuzzy controller in open loop and closed loop have been presented.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114982817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a multi-path routing protocol that can efficiently provide QoS (Quality of Service) in mobile ad hoc network, which is, now days, the most important requirement for many real-time multimedia applications. The proposed on-demand routing protocol searches for a multi-path QoS routes from source node to the destination node, where QoS requirement is to search paths between source and destination node that can satisfy a certain bandwidth requirement. Through simulation, it has been shown that when the network bandwidth is limited, the proposed routing protocol offer a higher packet delivery ratio as compare to the single path routing protocol and when the network bandwidth is sufficient, the proposed routing protocol perform almost the same as the single path routing protocols.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"347 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115411760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Privacy preserving data publishing (PPDP) addresses the problem of revealing sensitive data when extracting the useful data. The existing privacy models are group based anonymity models. Hence, these models consider the privacy of the individual only in a group based manner. And those groups are the hunting ground for the adversaries. All data re-identification attacks are based on the group of records. The root cause behind our approach is that the k-anonymity problem can be viewed as a clustering approach. Though the k-anonymity problem does not insist on the number of clusters, it requires that each group must contain at least k-records. We propose a Non-Grouping Anonymity model; this gives a basic level of anonymization that prevents an individual being re-identified from their published data.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"323 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122625740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whatever is the communication scenario, wired locally or wireless geographically, or sensor nodes at remote location, it involves the source, receiver and a channel. Therefore, the channel is vulnerable for attack by an imposter which could challenge the authenticity and confidentiality of the communication data. In this paper, we constructed a reliable cryptography tool model by utilizing the properties of RSA algorithm in the Matlab programming environment. This tool can be efficiently used for communication networks for creating an authentic layer for secure data transfer. In this paper, we propose anew fast motion estimation algorithm, which improves on the UMHexagonS search algorithm. The multi-hexagon-grid search pattern is replaced by a quadrant-based multi-dodecagon grid search (QBMDD) pattern in order to reduce the computational complexity and effectively predict the optimal motion vectors. The proposed algorithm can find a motion vector with fewer search points than the UMHexagonS algorithm. The simulation experimentation results show that the proposed algorithm has a better performance compared with the UMHexagonS algorithm and it reduces the number of search points and maintains similar peak signal noise ratio (PSNR) values, without loss of its coding accuracy.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129922821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It saves power by partitioning the main clock and distributing the clock to the logic blocks only when there is a need for those blocks to be activated. Synchronous circuits show reduced dynamic power dissipation for effective clock gating implementations. The paper tries to investigate different clock gating schemes and implement them to optimize the power dissipation in synchronous designs. These strategies are used to increase the flexibility of an up-to-date SPI master/slave implementation followed by the analysis of power reduction achieved.
