Planning path in advance is very important to save rescue time and energy consumption. Therefore, it is meaningful to find a better and shorter path as soon as possible. As a common method of path planning , RRT* has the disadvantages of high cost and slow convergence. To solve these flaws, an improved motion planner for underwater robots is proposed in this paper. In this study, the simulation experiments were divided into two-dimensional conditions and three-dimensional conditions, where used point cloud of real underwater scene to find a better initial solution. Based on RRT*, this paper finds the ancestor node farthest from the sampling point and without collision in the random tree as parent node, adds intermediate nodes in the path according to the step size, and uses trigonometric inequality many times throughout the process, so as to obtain an optimized path. Through a large number of simulation experiments, the results show that the cost of path is less and the convergence speed is faster than RRT* and Q-RRT*.","PeriodicalId":403546,"journal":{"name":"2022 27th Asia Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127720483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Designing an energy-efficient UAV communication with a randomly distributed ground sensors via enhancing the ground network structure dependent to the UAV path has been one of the challenges for the UAV-assisted WSN data gathering efforts. This paper aims at developing an approach called ‘UAV Fuzzy Travel Path’ that supports UAV smooth trajectory planning in gathering data of distributed wireless sensors over a large space. The dynamic orchestration of ground wireless sensors grouping has been considered in this paper for improving the network performance in data collection. This offers a more dynamic and flexible network that interact with the UAV planned path. Preliminary results of testbed simulations reflect that the proposed software define ground network system has presented promising outcomes in terms of network performances such as network latency and packet delivery rate. Further work is required for testing the scheme on a wider range of software defined WSN and UAV flight formations.","PeriodicalId":403546,"journal":{"name":"2022 27th Asia Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133276424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the pilot pattern design schemes on the resource grid have been researched to achieve high channel estimation accuracy with a small number of pilot signals. In the conventional scheme for pilot pattern design, the autoencoder which enables discrete feature selection is utilized to design pilot patterns for Vehicular-A channels. However, the pilot pattern for other channels is not reported, and it is not clear whether this scheme has good performance compared to uniform pilot patterns. In this paper, we derive the pilot patterns for Clustered Delay Line (CDL) channels specified in the 5th Generation Mobile Communication System (5G) standard using the autoencoder-based pilot pattern design scheme. We also derive the pilot patterns for CDL-A and CDL-D, which model respectively NLOS (Non-Line-of-Sight) and LOS (Line-of-Sight) environments, with different three speeds of User Equipment (UE). Through computer simulation, we show that the autoencoder-based pilot patterns improve the channel estimation accuracy compared to the uniform pilot pattern.","PeriodicalId":403546,"journal":{"name":"2022 27th Asia Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC)","volume":"450 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115615614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) is adopted for the sources and the relays, and the destination acts as the central node responsible for scheduling the cooperative retransmissions. Since FDM is used for orthogonality, different nodes are allocated at each sub-band of the transmission and retransmission phases. In this work, we present the system model of the considered orthogonal MAMRN when the FDM mechanism is adopted, while including the analytical derivations of the utility metrics (spectral efficiency and outage events). Then, two centralized node selection strategies are proposed. Moreover, we present the control information exchange process between the destination and the different nodes. The proposed strategies allocate for each sub-band the node that will transmit (or retransmit) with the goal of maximizing the spectral efficiency. Our numerical analysis considers both symmetric and asymmetric channel and source rate scenarios, and shows that the proposed algorithms outperform the algorithms used in the prior-art, and achieve a spectral efficiency that is close to the upper bound calculated by an exhaustive search approach while reducing the complexity and the overhead.","PeriodicalId":403546,"journal":{"name":"2022 27th Asia Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121962305","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although artificial intelligence (AI) has been found for several applications to the IDN, there lacks a systematic discussion and research on this topic. In this work, we present a survey of the application of AI at each layer of IDN. Then, a general IDN management architecture, State-Action-Intent (SAI), is proposed. The presented SAI is a new IDN implement framework to automate the operational intents in a closed loop to overcome the challenges of complex network services.
