But semiconductor is a great solution of this power consumption. If we success to use semiconductors in well manner then we can reduce power consumption. Peltier module is one of the best solutions for this. Air-conditioner carry 2000 or 3000 Watt power and cloth iron takes minimum 750 Watt power. But due to use of this Peltier module in our system it saves lots of power. We can say the cooler gives the temperature of air-conditioner in only approx. 200 Watt. And cloth iron takes only 50 Watt. The performance of these systems is evaluated in the research and also commercialization point of view, reliability of this device and life of this device is discussed in the paper. The output graph of cooling and heating according to time is shown in figures 8, 9, and 10. It helps in analyzing the current state of the power system and effective alternative options for expanding the existing system in order to meet with the increasing load demand. Contingency Analysis is also a major part of study for reliable and planned operation of power system. It is very significant function in modern Energy Management Systems. The objective of contingency analysis is to give operator the information about the static security. There are several factors which may lead to the contingency in power system, for example line outage, transformer outage, generator outage and overloads resulting the extreme situations such as voltage collapse, over loads in other branches and/or sudden system voltage rise or drop. Contingency analysis is used to calculate parameters violations. Power electronics industry searches suitable semiconductors as conventional silicon saturates in context of impedance performances with a specified device configuration in the analysis of PIN diode. This paper considers the different materials like Si, Ge, GaAs, SiC-3C, SiC-4H, SiC-6H, GaN-wZ, GaN-zB, InAs to study the variation of intrinsic resistance, junction resistance and total resistance with respect to forward current as well as to study these same parameters with respect to width of the intrinsic region. The characteristics of intrinsic, junction and total resistances of PIN diodes with 10mA forward bias current and 50 micron width of the intrinsic region are noted. Moreover, Economic dispatch (ED) sub-problem is carried out using lambda-iteration technique. Performance of DisABC is tested on 2 test systems comprising of 5-unit and 26-unit over the scheduling time horizon of 24 hours. These DGs can work both as grid connected or standalone mode. Thus when it comes to DG placement, getting the optimal location for its placement and the optimal sizing becomes very important. In this paper, finding the optimal location and optimal size of DGs is dealt keeping active power loss as the objective, considering different load models. A novel method called Backtracking Search Optimization Algorithm is used to find the most significant positions for DG placement. DGs supplying both active and reactive power have been studied. In the conventional method of bulk power generation through thermal, hydro or nuclear power plant; any military attacks not only affects the power supply of the area but comes with high collateral damage due to blast of power system itself or a flood due to attack on dam. Therefore this paper proposes to invest for distributed power generation, more so because it has to be consumed in distributed fashion ultimately by user and it also saves heavily on GTD infrastructure as well as fuel. We propose a denomination of distributed solar systems in capacities of 1kW, 500W and 300W with investment cost $4000, $2000 and $1000. Hand gesture recognition consisted of five processes such as image acquisition, skin color information for recognizing hand gesture which is obtained from the arm region of the hand, background removal, canny edge detection and contour detection. This proposed system is used for the banking security and can be used for companies or at personal secured places for security purposes. Conventionally load frequency control is done by employing PI controllers. Immediate control of system frequency oscillation is very vital to avoid hazardous conditions. Need of the hour is to introduce a fast controller superior to the conventional PI controller. In this paper Artificial Neural Network is used for Load Frequency Control of single and two area load frequency control. Both single area and two area cases are modelled using state space technique. This paper presents a methodology to detect rotor bar faults under no-load and loaded conditions, using wavelet transforms. In wavelet analysis, the wavelet coefficients are dependent on the basis function chosen. If these coefficients are used to capture the signature of a fault, then it is desirable to select a wavelet that produces the best results for the signal being analyzed. This paper presents the results obtained from a comparative study done using different discrete wavelet transforms for detection of broken rotor bar fault. Results indicate that the energy content of the wavelet coefficients are sufficient to distinguish between a healthy and faulty machine.
