The process output has oscillation due to improper tuning, oscillatory disturbance and valve stiction. The occurrence of stiction in a control valve affects the control loop performance. This paper focused on detection of oscillation due to presence of stiction in a three tank level control process. The interaction and non-interaction processes of three tank systems are simulated with different cases. The proposed work estimates the time period of oscillation have been increased for the system changing form non-interaction to interaction. The stiction has occurred in control valve make the control loop in certain oscillations. Such oscillations would be detected for improving the performance of a control loop. An instinctive footstep is to take up such location-based operation to MANETS. In various applications, including military and law enforcement, node identities are not virtually as helpful as node locations. In suspicious MANETs, nodes do not even trust each other; hence identities must be concealed. The search for an efficient image smoothing and edge detection method is a challenging task in image processing sector. Savitzky Golay Filters are one among the widely used filters for analytical chemistry. Even though they have exceptional features, they are rarely used in the field of image processing. The designed filter is applied for image smoothing and a mathematical model based on partial derivatives is proposed to extract the edges in images. The smoothing technique of SG filter offers an extremely simple aid in extracting the edge information. An approach using SG filter which can be applied in preserving edge information is one of the major tasks involved in the classification process in the domain of Optical Character Recognition. The paper is focused on designing the Savitzky Golay filter by using the concepts of linear algebra. This paper highlights the use of a bidirectional buck-boost converter for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) driven EV. The bidirectional buck - boost converter interfaces the low-voltage battery with a high-voltage dc bus and maintains a bidirectional power flow. The batteries are at low voltage to obtain higher volumetric efficiencies, and the dc link is at higher voltage to have higher efficiency on the motor side. PMSMs are known as a good candidate for EV due to their superior properties such as high torque/volume ratio, power factor and high efficiency. This paper also includes Space Vector Modulation (SVM) based Direct Torque Control (DTC) which controls the PMSM to reduce the ripples in both torque and speed. A closed loop control system with a Proportional Integral (PI) controller in the speed loop has been designed to operate in constant torque and flux weakening regions. The optimization techniques were based on the identification of algorithms, which could exploit the FPGA features. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is one of the most used techniques for image compression and is applied in a large category of applications for multi resolution analysis of signals. DWT can provide significant compression ratios without great loss of visual quality than the previous techniques such as the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). This work provides an analysis between the conventional VLSI implementation techniques as against an area efficient realization approach. This is expected to provide a reduction in hardware complexity and also an increase in computational speed. Ad hoc networking for commercial uses; however, the main applications lie in military, tactical and other security-sensitive operations. In these applications, secure routing is an important issue. Most of the protocols proposed for Secure Routing are either proactive or reactive in approach. In this paper, a secure hybrid ad hoc routing protocol, called Secure Zone Routing Protocol (SZRP), which aims at addressing the limitations by combining the best properties of both proactive and reactive approaches. The proposed protocol is based on the concept zone routing protocol (ZRP). Which employs an integrated approach of digital signature and both the symmetric and asymmetric key encryption techniques to achieve the security goals like message integrity, data confidentiality and end to end authentication at IP layer. Nyquist-Shannon theorem is a sufficient condition but not a necessary condition for perfect reconstruction. The field of compressive sensing provides a stricter sampling condition when the signal is known to be sparse or compressible. Compressive sensing contains three main problems: sparse representation, measurement matrix and reconstruction algorithm. This paper describes and implements 14 different sensing matrices for thermal image reconstruction using Basis Pursuit algorithm available in the YALL1 package. The sensing matrices include Gaussian random with and without orthogonal rows, Bernoulli random with bipolar entries and binary entries, Fourier with and without dc basis vector, Toeplitz with Gaussian and Bernoulli entries, Circulant with Gaussian and Bernoulli entries, Hadamard with and without dc basis vector, Normalised Hadamard with and without dc basis vector. Orthogonalization of the rows of the Gaussian sensing matrix and normalisation of Hadamard matrix greatly improves the speed of reconstruction. Semi-deterministic Toeplitz and Circulant matrices provide lower PSNR and require more iteration for reconstruction. The Fourier and Hadamard deterministic sensing matrices without dc basis vector worked well in preserving the object of interest, thus paving the way for object specific image reconstruction based on sensing matrices. It offers benefits like resolution, S/N ratio and pixel size. For the same, a multiagent control system is designed for energy and comfort management in the smart building.
