Además, es capaz de producir micotoxinas como fumonicina, moniliformina y beauvericina, lo que constituye un riesgo para la alimentación animal. El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar cepas de Trichoderma spp., con potencial de control de F. nygamai en sorgo. Se identificaron dos cepas de Trichoderma asperellum, cinco cepas de Trichoderma atroviride, dos cepas de Trichoderma virens, una cepa de Trichoderma longibrachiatum y dos cepas de Trichoderma sp. aisladas de suelo en plantaciones comerciales de sorgo. Se realizaron cultivos duales y evaluación de metabolitos volátiles in vitro para seleccionar las cepas con la mayor actividad antagonista contra F. nygamai. Las cepas de Trichoderma spp. seleccionadas se evaluaron en ensayos de protección vegetal en plántulas de sorgo inoculadas con F. nygamai. T. asperellum (T6) y T. atroviride (T21) fueron antagonistas efectivos de F. nygamai. Todas las plántulas de sorgo inoculadas con F. nygamai mostraron síntomas de la enfermedad, mientras que el 50% de las plántulas inoculadas con F. nygamai pero tratadas con T. asperellum (T6) permanecieron sanas, recuperando la cepa de los tejidos internos de la raíz, el tallo y las hojas. The results showed that the content of phenolic compounds of Vitis vinifera cv. Petit Verdot and Petit Syrah wines had the most highest values of total phenolic content (1188.26 and 1148.13 mg GAE/L, respectively), with respect the another wines. However, wines elaborated with three different cultivars (Cabernet Sauvignon/Petit Verdot/Merlot), and wine from cultivar Petit Verdot presented the highest total flavonoids content (161.06 mg QE/L and 182.64 mg QE/L, respectively) and total anthocyanin content (286.38 mg ME/L and 2548.56 mg ME/L, respectively). In contrast only wine from three grape cultivars (Cabernet Sauvignon/Petit Verdot/Merlot), and wine from cultivar Gamay, exhibits the highest antioxidant activity among tested wines. Se empleó un diseño completamenteal azar dentro de un arreglo bifactorial, con podas como el primer factor (sin poda, poda moderada, poda drástica) y propagación de cacao como el segundo (semilla, ramilla e injerto). Se evaluó como variable de respuesta (número de mazorcas sanas (NMS) el peso fresco y las mazorcas totales. Respecto al rendimiento (kg/ha-1/año), se analizaron las variables sanitarias (número de escobas de bruja, NEB), el número de mazorcas enfermas (NME), y los índices de calidad física del cacao (índice de semilla, largo y ancho de la almendra). Como principales resultados, se obtuvo que el T9 (Poda moderada, IMC-67-Injerto CCN-51) seguido del T21 (Poda drástica, Semilla CCN-51), reportaron el mayor número de mazorcas sanas, mayor número de mazorcas totales indicando y los mejores rendimientos kg/ha-1/año. El T18 (Poda drástica,Ramilla CCN-51) obtuvo el menor número de mazorcas enfermas y escobas de bruja seguidos. En calidad física de la almendra, el T5 (Sin podar, EET-103-Injerto EET-103) presentó el valor más alto en el mayor índice de semilla y en el largo y ancho de la almendra. Se concluyó que según el tipo de patrón, para el injerto forastero con trinitario es recomendable poda moderada. Con el objetivo de determinar la oferta natural de Mauritia flexuosa en el municipio de San José del Guaviare se adelantaron estudios poblacionales con el uso de herramientas SIG y ArcGIS. La oferta natural existente en el municipio corresponde a 1.351.175 palmas en producción y un estimado de 140.977 toneladas de drupas listas para el aprovechamiento. Para la extracción del aceite se evaluaron los métodos Soxhlet, Folch y presado en frio, obteniendo un rendimiento máximo de 51%, 13.35% y 28.63%, respectivamente. Se utilizó el modelo experimental denominado 2K, con 16 ensayos donde se definió el efecto de la temperatura, peso y pH. Igualmente se tuvieron en cuenta aspectos del mercado, costos, procesos de extracción y legislación. {"title":"Incorporación de almidón o mezclas almidón-xantana en sistemas lácteos coagulados para mejorar rendimiento y textura","authors":"A. Totosaus, Lucia Pineda-Calderón","doi":"10.23850/24220582.3658","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.23850/24220582.3658","url":null,"abstract":"En la búsqueda de mejorar el rendimiento y textura de quesos tipo fresco, se experimentó con diferentes tipos de almidón o su combinación con goma xantana en un sistema modelo, con el fin de determinar el efecto de estos ingredientes sobre el rendimiento, volumen de lactosuero liberado, sinéresis y humedad, además de los parámetros texturales dureza, adhesividad, cohesividad y resorteo. Se utilizaron almidón de trigo, almidón de papa, almidón modificado Gelamil y almidón modificado Nifragel al 5% (p/v) o su combinación con goma xantana (1%, p/v) en un sistema lácteo coagulado. El utilizar los almidones con xantana resultó en un mayor rendimiento y menor volumen de lactosuero liberado, además de presentar menor sinéresis y mayor humedad, debido a las propiedades de retención de agua de estos ingredientes. Esta cualidad se vio reflejada en texturas más duras pero adhesivas, además de ser menos cohesivas y elásticas, debido a la menor movilidad del agua dentro del sistema por acción del almidón y de la goma xantana. Essential oils (EO) are natural compounds; they have 25 to 70 components with different concentrations. Α-Zingiberene and α-Felandrene are the main components with volumes between 20% and 70%. For the extraction of the AE samples from 10 Colombian geographical locations were used, obtained by microwave radiated hydrodistillation (MWHD) and stored at 4°C in amber vials. 50 µL of EA and 1.0 µL of (n-tetradecane) internal standard were dissolved in dichloromethane to a final volume of 1.0 mL. The EO components were performed on a triple quadruple mass detector gas chromatograph (BRUKER 450GC-320). For its antioxidant activity (AA) the methodology of Prior for DPPH* and ABTS+ was used. The extractions showed a yield between 0.053 and 0.109 percent; and 300 g of sample at 700 watts and 40 minutes of process were used. The chromatographic profile showed 43 components referring to ketones, alcohols, cyclic ethers, aldehydes and 23 hydrocarbons, with α-Zingiberene being the majority, considered as a molecular marker of this EO. A decade ago, the Perolera variety was the most cropped cultivar of the Santander department, however, the variety has been displaced considerably due to the lack of technical extension services and theintroduction of new varieties. This research project was carried out with the intention to conserve the speciesthrough the development of in vitro pineapple explants using the organogenesis technique. Meristemsthat have been extracted from the crown of the Perolera pineapple variety were used for this purpose. Four disinfectant treatments were evaluated by looking at the different kinds of disinfectant exposure times.The treatment that gave the best results in terms of contaminant-free explants was the T2: Commercialdetergent + Tween 80 for 8 minutes, ethyl alcohol at 70% for 1 minute and sodium hypochlorite at 1,5% over10 minutes, with a contamination rate of 7% and 93% of the explants thriving. For the establishment phase,it was found that the medium MS MEP1 with 100% solid salts supplemented with 2000 ul/L BAP - 1000 ul/L ANA - 1000 ul/L AIA and 500 ul/L thiamine enabled 90 % of the pineapple explants to continue developing four weeks after planting. In Colombia and especially in the coffee zone, policies have been implemented that allow acquiring fundamental levels in the food security of communities potentially affected by the difficulty in availability, access, quantity, quality and food safety, within this perspective, the objective of the study focuses on the development of a product that may have a high nutritional value, which is accepted organoleptically by the children and adolescents of the ECAS, but that in turn allows to revalue or repower indigenous agro-food goods of the study area, in the framework of the agricultural products recognized by the farmers, 3 stood out after the bromatological and microbiological analyzes: corn, yucca and bean petaco; these presented a significant nutritional value; with them a gastronomic alternative type sweet Snacks (cookies) was developed, using mixtures of 2 of the 3 assets chosen in proportions 25% 75%, 50% -50% y 75%25% (beans-corn and beans-yucca) in each of the tests carried out. The project is based on an applied research implemented an exploratory and descriptive methodology which consists of a mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative).
