People are more concerned with their smartphone use than being physically attached to their surroundings, which has led to scholars on studies in smartphone addiction. This study aims to understand the link between personality traits of young adolescents and fear of missing out in relation to smartphone addiction. A partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) is applied in testing the proposed hypotheses relationship. A total of 210 respondents consisting of young adolescents, primarily higher education students, participated in the study. It was discovered that among the five personality traits, extraversion and neuroticism were found to be significant on fear of missing out. While fear of missing out has the most significant influence on adolescent smartphone addiction, implications towards theoretical and managerial aspects are discussed and elaborated.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. This trend certainly includes the tourism and hospitality sector, where several digital business models have already gained extraordinary momentum and transformed the way business is done. There is a growing body of scholarly literature concerning individual digital business models in tourism, yet papers with comprehensive comparison of digital business models in tourism are scarce. The aim of the paper is to fill this research gap and provide a thorough overview and comparison of the most important types of digital business models in tourism. Methods used to achieve this include case studies and structured literature review supplemented with content analysis. The most important characteristics of each business model have been identified and analyzed using relevant frameworks. Further, a tourism digital business models typology has been proposed that classifies the currently prevailing digital business models in this sector into seven distinct types.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. To shed light on this problem, this paper conducts a case study to investigate an engineering consultancy’s efforts to implement an internal crowdsourcing as part of an effort to change the innovation culture of the organisation. Taking the starting point in the literature on the relationship between IT and organisational culture and enterprise crowdsourcing, this paper underscores the interplay between innovation culture and information technology. Our study finds that enterprise crowdsourcing systems can contribute to small changes of the innovation culture of an organisation along several cultural determinants, including behaviours that encourage innovation, communication and knowledge sharing, employees’ relationships, support mechanisms and strategy.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. Messaging services can be particularly useful to enhance communication with patients with depression, between consultations, allowing the delivery of supportive messages or reminders. This paper discusses this scenario and describes a four-stage study: (1) a diagnosis of perspectives and practices, (2) a six-week SMS intervention plan, (3) a prototype of a digital application to support patients' follow-up and interaction, (4) and a survey on physicians' digital experience and predisposition to use the prototype. Results underline the potential of using messaging systems to improve communication between health professionals and patients with depression, namely when these systems are part of blended-interventions. Further research is needed, particularly regarding the adjustment of these solutions to specific target groups.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. E Serv. Mob. The advantages of e-invoicing have been recognized by many organizations. Therefore, enterprises are trying to replace paper invoices with electronic documents. Automated business processes are the future of the modern economy, and implementation of e-invoicing into a supply chain management leads to broader automation projects (e.g., evaluated receipts, supply chain finance). In this paper, the authors explore differences between enterprises in European countries according to the usage of e-invoicing by the enterprises different by size (small, medium, and large). Data were collected from the Eurostat database regarding usage of e-invoicing by enterprises for the year 2018. Variables used in the analysis are (1) enterprises sending e-invoices suitable for automated processing, (2) enterprises sending e-invoices not suitable for automated processing, (3) enterprises sending paper invoices. First, collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Second, cluster analysis was conducted to compare small, medium, and large enterprises regarding their behavior related to e-supply chain management using e-invoices.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. The research uses the TAM model with additional variables such as social influence and perceived risk to evaluate how these factors impact the behavior intention of young customers toward adopting mobile banking services. PLS-SEM was used as the main research method. The findings from this paper reaffirmed that perceived usefulness and social influence are the most influential factor in behavior intention, but perceived ease of use and perceived risk showed insignificant impacts on young consumers' behavior intention in Vietnam. This paper also found that perceived ease of use had no direct impact on behavior intention but an indirect impact through facilitating perceived usefulness. This subject makes a practical and academic contribution in the context of a developing country where is lacking research in mobile banking apps.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. A sample of 2,883 social media users was used to run a series of t-tests to support the research hypotheses. The findings show that young users (compared with old users) are more likely to use social media platforms for social and personal needs. In addition, across platform analyses indicate that users of WhatsApp (compared with Snapchat and Instagram) are more likely to use the platform for socially integrative needs (e.g., connecting with friends and family and talking), while Instagram and Snapchat users are more likely to use the platforms for affective needs (e.g., entertaining), personally integrative needs (e.g., enhancing self-expression and getting to know new people), tension release (e.g., escaping from boredom), and cognitive needs (e.g., seeking information). A more detailed analysis of age groups across the platforms are further discussed.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. E Serv. Mob. The focus of past research has largely been placed on social network adoption at the country level with few studies conducted at the global level. Furthermore, the mediating role of ICT access on social network adoption has been given limited attention. To fill this gap, this study employs the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework to investigate factors that may influence global social network adoption. Relying on archival and cross-sectional data from 135 countries and using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling, our findings show that social network adoption at the global level, is positively influenced by ICT access of a county and that ICT regulation and the development of the human resource will not directly influence social network adoption. Though technological, organizational, and environmental factors all together accounted for 55.5% of the variance in social network adoption, the mediating role of ICT access and the effects of human resource development on social network adoption was found to be significant. Our findings provide a fresh insight into the adoption of social network sites at the global level. Our study provides some implications for research and practice.","PeriodicalId":400317,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. E Serv. Mob.
