Organizations use vast amount of IT systems to automate processes and tend to focus on digitalization at all costs. Automation and day-to-day business require huge computing power at a high-availability and reliability. Cybersecurity is crucial for success of every business. To address these needs, organizations must have in-depth understanding of their own resource structure (assets, network, services, applications, relationships, etc.). This paper focuses on how organizations can keep information about their resources and analyzes how organizations can ensure optimal defect detection in its own resource structure.This paper proposes unique approach for structuring of multi-layer resources, focused on formalization of detection, localization, and effective defect remediation.","PeriodicalId":399680,"journal":{"name":"2022 10th International Scientific Conference on Computer Science (COMSCI)","volume":"466 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122498254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, a column-oriented approach to data presentation has shown promising results when applied in analytical processing. This paper shows a design for a webhook (event notifications) software system to facilitate the usage of the columnar approach in data-intensive software systems. It will be an example of using the column store where the analytical requirement is not the primary one. The approach can be applied to any system in the data-intensive context, which has many data points and requirements to store, fetch, and aggregate based on a few specific from many fields.","PeriodicalId":399680,"journal":{"name":"2022 10th International Scientific Conference on Computer Science (COMSCI)","volume":"SE-7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126574864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the panel data method, we captured the changes in the volume of student loans in different regions of Uzbekistan. The main purpose of this study is to explore the role of regional characteristics that can amplify or weaken the effect of reform. We employ population size, income, number of universities in a region, and inflation rate to represent region-specific characteristics. Our findings show that new policies had a significant positive effect on the volume of student loans. However, this effect is stronger for regions with low income.","PeriodicalId":399680,"journal":{"name":"2022 10th International Scientific Conference on Computer Science (COMSCI)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121544564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors of this article build on their experience with the use of the above mentioned tools to increase the resilience of Information Systems against Cyber threats, approached to the choice of an effective structure of Cyber-protection of Industrial Systems, primarily analyzing the objective differences between them and Information Systems. A number of analyzes show increased resilience of the decentralized architecture in the management of large-scale industrial processes to the centralized management architecture. These considerations provide sufficient grounds for the team of the project to give preference to the decentralized structure with flock behavior for further research and experiments. The challenges are to determine the indicators which serve to assess and compare the impacts on the controlled elements.","PeriodicalId":399680,"journal":{"name":"2022 10th International Scientific Conference on Computer Science (COMSCI)","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128220370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the next evolutionary stages in Internet-based computations is the Internet of Things (IoT), which is already making a beneficial difference in a wide range of application sectors, including smart cities, sustainable living, healthcare, production, etc. We can transform the conventional grid into a more effective and intelligent energy grid with the help of IoT. The standards for various IoT technologies, including sensing, communication, and computing technologies, as well as how they relate to smart energy grids, will be the main focus of this article. Additionally, this article gives a thorough outline of the prior research on its IoT applications for Smart Grid systems. We conclude by highlighting a brand-new layered architecture that is suggested for the management and processing of massive data in future Smart Homes. The suggested Representational State Transfer (REST)-based architecture for future smart homes’ efficient data interchange and processing activities has seven layers, including physical, fog computing, network, cloud computing, service, session, and application.","PeriodicalId":399680,"journal":{"name":"2022 10th International Scientific Conference on Computer Science (COMSCI)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116898480","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
