En las ciudades, el parque automotriz incrementa su número cada año. En este contexto, una adecuada programación de los ciclos de los semáforos ayuda a disminuir el consumo de combustible y mejorar la fluidez del tráfico. En este trabajo presentamos el uso de metaheurísticas para resolver el problema de la programación de los ciclos de los semáforos en el microcentro de la ciudad de Posadas en Misiones, Argentina. Para el cálculo de la matriz origen-destino de los vehículos se introduce una metodología para su armado con datos incompletos. En este sentido se han desarrollado sistemas que combinan interfaz cerebro computadora (BCI) por imaginería motora con realidad virtual. Estos sistemas detectan en la señal de electroencefalografía la intención del usuario de realizar el movimiento de un miembro y la convierten en una señal de control que activa un módulo de realimentación. Este artículo describe el diseño y desarrollo de una interfaz de realidad virtual para ser utilizada como módulo de realimentación visual en un sistema BCI por imaginería motora para rehabilitación de pacientes con secuelas motoras de miembro superior e inferior causadas por un accidente cerebrovascular. Al momento de plantear el diseño de la interfaz, se consideraron las características que permitirían promover la plasticidad neuronal de los pacientes: (a) una interfaz atractiva y motivadora que presente un avatar con el cual el usuario se identifique; (b) que el avatar realice movimientos relacionados con la función motora que se intenta recuperar; (c) rápida comunicación entre el usuario y la interfaz visual de manera que posibilite la interacción en tiempo real. Asimismo, se propusieron como requerimientos técnicos de diseño: (a) comunicación en tiempo real entre el sistema BCI y la interfaz; (b) uso de la interfaz en sistemas con recursos computacionales de gama media. There are several advantages of these segmented architectures, for instance this allows a reduction in the cost of the vehicles (several small vehicles can be less expensive than one big vehicle), the flexibility to choose for a mission only those vehicles with the appropriate sensors, the robustness of the system since it can acquire information even if one vehicle fails, among others. The advantage of segmented architectures is even more noticeable if the vehicles carrying those different sensors, have different characteristics or environments for operations, e.g. aerial, terrestrial or aquatic vehicles. In this work, we present the experimental results obtained with an ASV (Autonomous Surface Vehicle) and a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that cooperate to obtain a topographic survey of the terrain. The ASV is equipped with a LIDAR, meanwhile the UAV is equipped with a monocular RGB camera. Se realiza un análisis financiero para la proposición de un sistema que suministre la energía eléctrica al poblado. Además de dicho estudio financiero se utilizaron otros criterios de evaluación como el costo de la energía, los niveles de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y la factibilidad o decisión política. La premisa aplicada en el análisis de la estimación de la demanda de energía eléctrica del poblado se basó en datos históricos de poblados de características similares dentro del país. Las alternativas de suministro de energía consideradas fueron: térmica (diésel), renovables (eólico y solar) y una extensión de línea de distribución (23kV). A modo de encontrar la mejor alternativa se utilizó el software HOMER Pro® el cual en el proceso de simulación obtiene como resultados arreglos de sistemas más óptimos. Con los modelos optimizados se procede a aplicar la metodología Monte Carlo a modo de introducir dentro del análisis financiero las fluctuaciones del precio del combustible diésel de tal manera a realizar el contraste de la generación térmica con la generación a base de energía renovable. Por último se aplica el Proceso Analítico Jerárquico (AHP) para obtener la alternativa más conveniente, teniendo en cuenta múltiples criterios. One of the main satellite parameters used is the optical density of aerosols (AOD), which allows quantifying the attenuation of solar radiation in the presence of aerosols within an atmospheric column. This study was evaluated the correlation between the average monthly ODA levels recorded by the MODIS sensor on the Terra and Aqua platforms (products MYD04_3k and MOD04_3k), and the average monthly concentrations of PM10 and PM<inf>2.5</inf> measured at 5 continuous monitoring stations in the city of Valencia, Spain, over an 8-year period. Correlation was analyzed in each station, excluding those where the correlation was not significant. Thus a ratio of 0.31 (p <0.01, n=87) was obtained for PM<inf>10</inf> and 0.49 (p <0.001, n=74) for PM<inf>2.5</inf>. Based on this, the generated linear models were analyzed and maps of particulate matter were made. These results were similar to those reported in the literature, showing that it is feasible to use these products to assess the spatial distribution of atmospheric pollutants.La teledetección aplicada al estudio de la calidad de aire ha aportado nuevas herramientas para la evaluación de la distribución espacial y temporal de los contaminantes atmosféricos. Uno de los principales parámetros satelitales empleados es la densidad óptica de aerosoles (AOD), que permite cuantificar la atenuación de la radiación solar en presencia de aerosoles dentro de una columna atmosférica. Distintos estudios han demostrado que las medidas de AOD se relacionan con el material particulado con un diámetro aerodinámico <2.5 μm (PM<inf>2.5</inf>) y en menor grado con el de diámetro <10 μm (PM<inf>10</inf>). En este estudio se evaluó la correlación entre los niveles medios mensuales de AOD registrados por el sensor MODIS en las plataformas Terra y Aqua (productos MYD04_3k y MOD04_3k), y las concentraciones medias mensuales de PM<inf>10</inf> y PM<inf>2.5</inf> medidas en 5 estaciones de monitoreo continuo presentes en la ciudad de Valencia, España, a lo largo de un período de 8 años. Se analizó la correlación en cada estación, descartándose aquellas donde la correlación no se mostraba significativa. Así se obtuvo una relación de 0.31 (p <0.01, n=87) para PM<inf>10</inf> y de 0.49 (p <0.001, n=74) para PM<inf>2.5</inf>. A partir de ello, se analizaron los modelos lineales generados y se confeccionaron mapas de material particulado. However rechargeable batteries cannot operate alone, a Battery Management System is needed to provide safe operation conditions, monitor its state and balance its charge. In this article a Battery Management System is developed for applications in electric vehicles and autonomous robotics. We design the system in a modular way to give flexibility and allow portability to different type of battery packs. Low-cost microcontrollers were used for the system providing also communication with the vechicle's on-board computer. A passive balancing schemed is chosen as a way of battery balancing. Esto teniendo en cuenta los patrones de comportamiento adquiridos de una determinada zona en la fase de entrenamiento.
