In this paper, by using the quantitative indexes such as “back to back” game, consecutive away game, continuous encounter with strong teams, and time interval between two games, the problem of schedule evaluation is solved systematically. And using MAHALANOBIS distance between each team and the reference team can get the rank of teams. After analyzing the schedule, the absolute value of the difference between the winning rates of the two teams is taken as the weight, a new scientific game schedule is designed by using the 0-1 programming model. The model is simple and easy to be popularized, and it can be used to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of various league games.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125035844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we chose six state-of-the-art machine learning methods which we analyze in their ability to detect misstatements. In addition to that we investigated the influence of a FeatureBoost algorithm, namely XG-Boost to all of the six machine learning methods. The underlying data is retrieved from Eikon, a financial database provided by Refinitiv (former provided by Thomson Reuters). In order to take out our experiments we chose about 9000 US-companies and 757 features per year over ten years. We offer six definitions of ground truth of which three can be calculated with the data extracted from the Eikon database. The other three definitions are created with the help of an external data source provided by Audit Analytics Europe. Our well structured results give an overview on the performance of current machine learning methods in order to identify misstatements.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134305312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And it may cause significant losses to the entire market. So as individuals, if they can predict and respond in advance, it will reduce a lot of losses and make the company's life cycle longer. Here we used the data on credit defaults with a total sample of 1,000 samples containing Germany's credit default records and some basic personal information. Logistic regression, random forest and Xgboost were applied to discover useful information behind these data. The results showed that the machine learning method fitted the data relatively well, and the accuracy of Xgboost has reached about 80%. Existing checking account and foreign worker were two most important indicators to help predict financial crisis. In this way, both companies and the country could reduce their losses, so that they can spend the time of the financial crisis more smoothly and promote social prosperity.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123660221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We utilize data from three seasons of Shark Tank Vietnam, where innovation is mainly sponsored by Government funding without much support to commercialize the final research outputs. We find that entrepreneurs having a product innovation have a higher chance of getting funding, receive higher funding amount, and higher YouTube popularity. In addition, sharks (VC investors) in the show provide a substantial amount of funding, which is highly comparable to that of the largest funding program for innovation by the Vietnamese Government. More importantly, the show is superior in providing other support to commercialize the firms’ products.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126521653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, thanks to the great support from the government, the number of enterprises implementing ESOPs has been consistently increasing in China. However, many questions have come up during the implementation process in China. For example, does the implementation of ESOPs give the corporate performance an essential contribution? Are ESOPs beneficial for the state-owned enterprises, in terms of shares arrangement? Based on the binary economic theory and the principal-agent theory, in this paper, the two questions listed would be analyzed. Through the data analysis of the listed A-share companies from 2007 to 2018, it could be concluded that the implementation of ESOPs positively impacts the corporates’ performance, while there is no noticeable difference between the impacts of the state-owned companies and the non-state-owned ones.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"347 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116324615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the impact of the demographic dividend, the government has a tendency to fully liberalize births. Nursing during the puerperium is becoming more important. Many countries and regions have produced postnatal care centers. The society's increased demand for Postpartum Care Center (Referred to as PCC) has brought interest in the capital market. Although the operating costs of PCC remain high, the development of the PPC industry is inevitable regardless of the needs of social development or the influence of policies. Therefore, how to improve the profitability of PCC and reduce operating costs has become a very important issue. In this paper, the introduction of \"ERP\" management system and ideas, combined with the actual PCC company management module to give directions to solve the problem.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132831356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our approach is based on DBSCAN, a cluster analysis algorithm. In contrast to prior methods, we assume that firms which perform different than their peers (outliers) are more likely to restate. By modifying DBSCAN to also incorporate temporal variation of these differences, we optimize the algorithm to fit financial data. We test our model for US data and benchmark against prior findings in accounting research. Our results show that the modified version of DBSCAN is more efficient than prior approaches. Best results are obtained if we cluster based on only two or three features. We outperform prior approaches regarding the precision to identify restatements. As with prior results, detection error increases for material restatements.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131733791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the survey and interview of 350 grass-roots civil servants from China, this paper analyses the relationship among internal and external incentive mechanism, organizational identity and work engagement. The research results show that: the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have a significant positive impact on work engagement, and the positive influence of intrinsic motive is greater than extrinsic motivation. Both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations have positive influence on organizational identification, And in the process of influence, the external incentive has a certain \"crowding effect\" on the internal incentive. Organizational identification plays a mediating role between extrinsic motivation and work engagement, but the mediating effect of organizational identification on intrinsic motivation and work engagement is not significant. The research results have certain reference value for improving the work input of grass-roots civil servants.","PeriodicalId":395705,"journal":{"name":"2020 The 4th International Conference on Business and Information Management","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131678906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
