Even though RA cannot be cured, its progress can be slowed and its symptoms can be managed by applying microcurrent and thermal therapy to enhance the healing response of the joints. The aim of this research is to combine two different therapeutic modalities: Microcurrent Electrical Therapy (MET) and thermal therapy, called as Thermally Combined Microcurrent Electrical Therapy (T-MET) device. For MET, the resulted output was square wave with fix 50% duty cycle, adjustable frequency (0.31 – 100Hz), and adjustable current amplitude (36 – 466µA). For thermal therapy, two different modes were provided: heating mode (up to 40°C) and cooling mode (up to 15°C). The test was done three times. It took 30 minutes and 105.8 minutes to reach the upper and lower limit temperature respectively. T-MET device had been designed and constructed. The device is composed of an arm cuff, an air-pumping motor, a solenoid valve, a pressure transducer, and a 2×16 characters LCD display module and a microcontroller which acts as the central controller and processor for the hardware. In the development stage, an auxiliary instrumentation for signal acquisition and digital signal processing using LabVIEW, which is also known as virtual instrument (VI), is incorporated for learning and experimentation purpose. Since the most problematic part of metrological evaluation of an oscillometric NIBP system is in the proprietary algorithms of determining systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP), the amplitude algorithm is used. The VI is a useful tool for studying data acquisition and signal processing to determine SBP and DBP from the maximum of the oscillations envelope. The knowledge from VI procedures is then adopted into a stand alone NIBP device. SBP and DBP are successfully obtained using the circuit developed for the NIBP device. Crowd behavior in accordance with the original in the real world can be shown to improve the quality of the animation itself has become a major trend in the world of cinema and gaming. In the present paper [1]. In the present paper in applying a multi robot system, flocking, swarming and obstacle avoidance. The results of the paper states that the algorithm used to ensure no collisions will occur among robots or with obstacles that exist. In Research [2], using the method for path planning (potential field)-based grid. this method can be used to simulate the movement of the human crowd simulation. Research results showed that in a variety of different populations contained in the mall made it out to the main door with no one left inside room. But the time it takes to be longer if the population is grows larger. And the time to arrive at the destination also depends on the initial velocity. With reference to previous studies of excess flocking algorithm, this paper will apply the algorithm to simulate the movement of crowds flocking people out onto the main targets with the aim to analyze the speed and level of time spent in the movement of the crowd in an environment. CoHA (Calcite Omya Hydroxyapatite was obtained from local material by synthesizing local calcite, while gelatin and PVA was commercial from Merck. The composite was prepared by blending powder of CoHA, gelatin, and PVA with weight ratios of 1∶1∶0.15. This blended powder composite was then mixed with distilled water with various solid loading of 5, 15, and 25% w/v. Next, it was cooled at freezer prior freeze drying to build a porous block composite. Characterization was carried out by XRD, FTIR, and SEM. The results showed that the composite block has micropore size <10 and macropore up to 300 µm. Results showed that the HA-gelatin-PVA can be synthesized into porous biocomposites, which has the potential for bone graft. The biocomposite has low cristallyne structure and there is a complex network structure of HA-gelatin-PVA. The calcined products were characterized using x-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. In data communications, entropy from information sources is described in the form of bits and closely related to the probability of arriving message to receiver and depends on the period of light spectrum, therefore information source rates affected. The problem faced is how to describe it in visual form. Here the entropy simulation was programmed by using Matlab GUI. The design of entropy simulation program consists of two types. The first type is entropy simulation program of text information as input. The second type is entropy simulation program of voice information as input. The results of both simulation program show that entropy value influenced information source rates. This method involves measuring the electrostatic induction current flowing through a measurement electrode. A theoretical model for the electrostatic induction current generated because of a change in the electric potential of the human body is also proposed. By comparing the numerical integration value of the electrostatic induction current with the plantar surface area, it becomes obvious that this model effectively explains the behavior of the waveform of the electrostatic induction current flowing through the electrode. The normal walking motions of daily living are recorded using three measurement electrodes located in an ordinary house. The obtained results show that detailed information regarding physical activity such as a walking cycle can be estimated using our proposed technique. The paper proposes the full model comprising of the 60-pulse Gate Turn-Off (GTO) thyristor VSC that is constructed becomes the FACTS devices in digital simulation system and investigates the dynamic operation of control scheme for shunt and two series VSC for active and reactive power compensation and voltage stabilization of the electric grid network. The complete digital simulation of the shunt VSC operating as a Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) controlling voltage and Var at bus, the series VSC operating as a Static Synchronous Series Capacitor (SSSC) controlling injected voltage while keeping injected voltage in quadrature with current, the two series VSCs operating as a Interline Power Flow Controller (IPFC) controlling injected voltage for power flow and the shunt VSC with the one series VSC operating as a Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) within the power system are performed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment using the Power System Blockset (PSB). The FACTS control system scheme and the network are modeled by specific electric blocks from the power system blockset. The controllers for the shunt VSC and two series VSCs are presented in this paper based on the decoupled current control strategy. Quantitative Blush Evaluator (QuBE) program was developed for the calculation of myocardial perfusion score. Calculation of QuBE values is often affected by patient motion and become inaccurate. In this paper, we proposed an algorithm to reduce undesired motion in coronary angiogram. This algorithm correct frame motion by shifting each single frame according to the best correlation with the first frame. The effectiveness of this stablizing method achieved by searching scale-invariant feature from each frame of coronary angiogram in order to find the best correlation between two frame. The results showed that MBG categorization based on modified QuBE program exactly match with the original QuBE program. In addition, results also showed that application of stabilization algorithm using SIFT method decreased the deviation by 15% therefore it increased the accuracy of QuBE value calculation. Finally, this new algorithm also decreased the execution time by 71% so the doctor could faster patient diagnosis.
