As a result of our research in 2019-2021, in the orchards of Verishen community of Syunik marz, we have registered the harmfulness of Stictocephala bubalus F., which is located at an altitude of 1645- 1650 m. At the initial stage damage was observed on several cultivated fruit species, and later to wild species.The pest damages the trees both during feeding and during spawning, causing cuts. {"title":"Growth and hydrogen production by Chlorella vulgaris Pa-023 under sulfur and nitrogen deprivation","authors":"J. Green algae carry out photoproduction of H2 associated with electron transport during photosynthesis and catalyzed by [Fe]-hydrogenase, which is sensitive to oxygen and is inactivated by water photolysis. The issue of incompatibility between water photolysis and hydrogenase can be solved by creating deprivation of nutrients such as nitrogen and sulfur. The results have shown that H2 generation by Chlorella vulgaris Pa-023 is stimulated 2.5 times by sulfur deprivation and 2.7 times by nitrogen deprivation compared to algae grown on a complete Tamiya medium. The use of a specific inhibitor of PS II, DCMU (3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea), demonstrated that during nutrient deprivation in algae operates a PS II-dependent pathway of H2 generation. Barseghyan","doi":"10.54503/0366-5119-2022.74.3-38","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54503/0366-5119-2022.74.3-38","url":null,"abstract":"The effect of extracts of Hypericum alpestre and Rumex obtusifolius L herbals on the amount of free proline and the activity of proline biosynthesis enzymes in various organs of the rat was studied. It was shown that the activity of proline biosynthesis enzymes under the influence of R. obtusifolius L. extracts decreased in the liver by 74.7%, in the brain by 51.7%, and no changes in enzyme activity were observed in the kidneys. Compared with the control group, proline biosynthesis in the liver of rats under the action of extracts of H. alpestre was completely inhibited, in the brain – by 29%. It was revealed that the leaves of the saplings of sophora japonica and biota orientalis prevailed in gross β-radioactivity those of cupressus sempervirens in area of IHP and of fagus orientalis and carpinus caucasus in DFES. Therefore, decorative broad-leaved sophora japonica and conifer biota orientalis that were introduced into Armenia are suggested to be used in green building as natural accumulators of RN to create parks, green zones and forests. Water samples were collected from 7 sampling points and the total amount of salts, electrical conductivity (EC), pH, bicarbonates as well as some toxic microelements (Al, As, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Li, Mn, Mo, Zn, Ni, Pb, Se, V) were determined. It has been shown that waters of the Arzni-Shamiram canal are suitable for irrigation. The water pollution processes in the Lower Hrazdan Canal is observed. This research provides insight into the nature of scientific productivity and international scientific cooperation. The study aims to give a bibliometric overview via scientometric indicators based on a bibliometric database of published articles in the Biological Journal of Armenia during 2007-2020. The main indicators used for the evaluation of co-authorship patterns include the degree of collaboration, collaboration index, and the collaboration coefficient. Результаты анализов показали, что в листьях абрикоса флавоноиды содержатся в достаточных количествах в процессе вегетации от 1-1,59%. Наибольшее количество флавоноидов отмечается за две недели до технической зрелости плодов. В кураге флавоноидов обнаружено больше, чем в сухих листьях.
