The scheme firstly defines three image metrics to represent image edge: orderliness measure, directivity measure and structural measure. Then it extracts these metrics from images based on fuzzy entropy, and weights three metrics to calculate a confidence degree for edge decision, in which the weighted factors may fully consider the metric impact to detect edges. Finally the algorithm adopts non-maximal image suppression with dynamic threshold to inhibit image pseudo-edge for further optimization. Experiment results illustrate better performance in edge detection with maintaining more image details.","PeriodicalId":394548,"journal":{"name":"2012 Second International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129931151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, a new matrix is constructed from the maximum eigenvector of the signal covariance matrix according to certain rules. Secondly, the reconstruction matrix is corrected by using the idea of matrix decomposition to enhance the decorrelation ability. Finally, ESPRIT method is utilized to DOA estimation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has high estimation success probability, small estimation bias, and low estimation standard error for DOA estimation of the coherent signals in low-SNR condition.","PeriodicalId":394548,"journal":{"name":"2012 Second International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123714640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We first gave its top-level framework definition, and then implemented the design using Verilog HDL. Based on the RTL coding, the design is synthesized with TSMC 90nm technology library. The result of the related experiments shows that the proposed cache can effectively save 76%~86% of the data memory bandwidth by use of the temporal correlation of data. Compared with the traditional method, the new cache architecture shows much better performance on reducing the bandwidth of accessing main storage, and presents much lower power consumption, higher hit ratio and faster access speed.","PeriodicalId":394548,"journal":{"name":"2012 Second International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130545119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are a variety of localizing algorithms and testing methods to deal with that problem. Taking account of the error variable caused by practical interference and the difficulty to use standard mathematical function to describe the model, a method using distance-weighted average and taking the largest received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is proposed. It improves the trilateral algorithm and overcome short-term signal interference. The traditional methods are modified accordingly to suit conditions when the beacon nodes are located in different environment. Finally, the localizing effects of the 3 localizing algorithms were compared. The results show that the new method gets a higher accuracy than traditional algorithms.","PeriodicalId":394548,"journal":{"name":"2012 Second International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130464580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a design of mobile robot control architecture and a survey about the navigation control method. In vision based mapping domain, our research put emphasis on the hybrid of model and appearance based approach. An environmental model of mobile robots is built with an improved Voronoi Diagram method. This method embodies the network structure of the environment-free area with fewer nodes, so the complexity of path planning is reduced largely. Hybrid navigation strategy composed of deliberative planning and local optimization in unknown environment is studied. An improved D* algorithm for deliberative planning in complex situation is proposed for avoiding local minima trap through searching a path from leave point. The reverse D* algorithm can decrease the calculation largely compared with the traditional D* algorithm in unknown environment.","PeriodicalId":394548,"journal":{"name":"2012 Second International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126884078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike most of the work available in the open literature, the antennas are placed in the same plane, we consider the case which may be disposed on a conformal surface, may have unknown (but fixed) geometries. The proposed estimator is computed using four antennas as a solution, the azimuth and elevation are estimated by the matrix inversion. The simulation result verifies the effectiveness in direction finding performance of this method by comparing the arbitrary-dimensional baseline algorithm, which is based on 3-D array with 2-D array. The solving ambiguous probability(SAP) from 1 GHz to 15 GHz of the conformal antenna mounted on anti-radar missile (ARM) is greater than 75%, and the direction finding error is less than 0.16°.
