The strength of cohesion less soils get drastically reduced under sudden undrained loading, especially if they are in saturated or submerged state, making them more prone to liquefaction. Researchers have conducted experiments on soils treated with a wide variety of chemicals, fibres,waste products and biopolymers to find out the liquefaction resistance of the modified sands. Among these additives, use of chemicals like cement pose major\u0000environmental problems like carbon dioxide emission and production of air pollutants like SO2, NO2, VOCs and other particulate matter. Plastic wastes such as PET bottles and plastic bags and byproducts like flyash and granulated blast furnace slag are used from past due to their strength enhancing properties. Plastic require thousands of years for their breakdown. The leachate generated by flyash and slag are slightly acidic in nature, polluting surface waters. In order to develop environment friendly construction practices, biopolymers like agar, starch, guar gel and xanthan gum are included recently in soil stabilization techniques. Being, renewable, reusable and carbon neutral, there is an increased interest on these biopolymers. This study is aimed at comparing the liquefaction resistances of modified and unmodified sands with a variety of additives based on results of Triaxial tests.","PeriodicalId":394517,"journal":{"name":"International Journal for Research in Engineering Application & Management","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124492029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

End of 2019 has faced global disease of COVIND 19 which has highly affected world economy. The lockdown period observed closing of traditional i.e. local market as the only solution to avoid spreading of COVIND 19 was to follow social distancing. Although online business exists the then period taught every firm big or small to do business through e-market. Thus online shopping rate increased during lockdown period as per reports given by periodicals and news channel. Therefore this study will give input for factors that affect E-shopping behavior especially for college students in Gujarat. The study was based on opinion of respondents collected through structured questionnaire which were filled by students of Gujarat University and Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Both descriptive analysis and inferential analysis were considered for the study. The findings of the study identified personal examination of products, worried of fraud while giving debit card/credit card information and also have fear of misuse for personal information shared on e-shopping sites as major barriers for e-shopping. Motivating factors identified were that e-shopping saves time, is convenient and it provides very attractive festival offers. The study concluded that motivating factors for online shopping have significant effect on e-shopping behavior. This is clearly evident from the inexorably developing number of deals through mergers & acquisitions coming about with increasingly corporate combination particularly with existing endeavor of extreme globalization. Indian steel\u0000organizations have developed among the biggest steel makers on the planet by keeping their impression in worldwide steel map. Some Indian organizations like Mittal steel, Tata steel, have made noteworthy abroad acquisitions including Arcelor by Mittal, and Corus by Tata steel as endeavors to internationalize their activities, by dissecting the serious elements on the worldwide stage. The case study revolves around the key intention drivers and assesses the effect of Corus acquisition by Tata steel from being seen as a success win arrangement. This contextual analysis depends on auxiliary information including organization reports, money related exhibitions, papers articles, magazines, and the web. This case has been investigated from two alternate points of view i.e., the vital methodology and the monetary methodology. Since the examination depends on auxiliary information, it has its own limitations as far as those viewpoints which are not revealed by the organizations and the other data which however are in the public domains have certain biasness connected.","PeriodicalId":394517,"journal":{"name":"International Journal for Research in Engineering Application & Management","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115370070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus LPG became crucial for cooking because of its desirable characteristics. Though there are various methods available for booking gas such as online booking, telephonic booking, etc, it is difficult for the users to remember the due date and book the gas as per the schedule. Many times people forget to book gas and suffer gas shortage. Smart Gas Booking System was proposed to avoid such situation. The aim of the project is to present a system that automatically books a LPG cylinder when the gas is close to empty by sending a notification to the user. An alert message is send to the user when the gas is about to empty. The user decides whether to book the gas or not. Based on his request the gas would be booked. And reply notification will be sent to the user about the booking status.","PeriodicalId":394517,"journal":{"name":"International Journal for Research in Engineering Application & Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129293994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the market many products are available for filtration of water, but all that product needs a huge amount of cost for maintenance and installation process. So there is the need for filtration of water at low cost and efficiently. For that there will be an automated system which takes payment in advance and then supplies the water according to the purchased plan ,which is based on the user's needs. Hence the purpose of this project is to develop a system which is based on prepaid payment for water supply and monitoring water supply system for housing society. Water supply is measured by using flow control to control the flow of water according to the usage of the user. By doing this we can decrease the rate of human errors. All payment transactions are recorded in the system for further reference. This System evolves Automatically because it detects the recharge details from the message. After that it will give supply to that user according to their recharge details. This System is fully automated which can overcome the problems of improper bill creation, delay in bill availability and delay in payment process. Also system notify users for upcoming recharge and for water consumption.","PeriodicalId":394517,"journal":{"name":"International Journal for Research in Engineering Application & Management","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131103625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
