Artificial intelligence is being applied more and more in various fields of cancer research. Today, artificial intelligence methods provide physicians with important privileges in making decisions, providing more effective service to managers and minimizing costs, reducing the workload of healthcare professionals, and receiving the treatment with the highest accuracy rate for the patient and the least error rate. This review can be evaluated in two categories. First of all, common diseases in the field of oncology and the use of artificial intelligence in the field of oncology are supported with examples. In the second category, 23 recent studies in the field of oncology in the literature summary table; artificial intelligence methods are divided into categories and accuracy rates are presented. It is thought that the rapidly developing artificial intelligence technology will continue to have a great impact in the field of cancer in the near future. As a result, it is thought that physicians and researchers should include artificial intelligence training courses in their multidisciplinary study and training curricula, keeping pace with the digitalizing new age in healthcare, with the widespread use of artificial intelligence-based clinical decision support systems, personalized medicine, time in diagnosis and treatment, reducing the error rate and it will provide an important advantage in terms of patient and employee satisfaction and both cost-effective and quality service delivery.","PeriodicalId":394509,"journal":{"name":"Gevher Nesibe Journal IESDR","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133379757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, the effect of Bongardia chrysogonum on kidneys by induced diabetic nephropathy in a diabetic rat model induced by streptozotocin (STZ) was investigated. Forty male Wistar Albino rats were used in the study. Rats; They were divided into 4 groups as the control group (K), the group given B. chrysogonum (B), the group with diabetes (DM) and the group given B. chrysogonum for treatment after diabetes was established (DMB). 45 mg/kg STZ was given intravenously to the DM and DMB groups. One day later, the blood sugar levels of the rats were checked with a glucometer, and values above 300 mg/dl were accepted as diabetes. B. chrysogonum infusion prepared by weighing 3 grams every day for 5 weeks was given to the B and DMB groups by gavage. Their weights and blood sugar levels were measured and recorded every week. At the end of 5 weeks, it was observed that the blood sugar level of the DMB group decreased statistically significantly compared to the DM group. Then, the rats were sacrificed under deep anesthesia and their kidneys were removed. As a result of histopathological examination, glomerular basement membrane thickening and mesangial cell increase were observed in the kidneys of the DM group. Similar histopathological findings were observed in the kidneys of DMB group rats and K group kidneys. These results were supported by Periodic acid Schiff and reticular staining. As a result of this study, it was observed that B. chrysogonum lowered blood sugar level after diabetes and reduced kidney damage. The mechanism by which B. chrysogonum regulates blood sugar in diabetic rats and affects commonly occurring secondary injuries should be investigated in detail.","PeriodicalId":394509,"journal":{"name":"Gevher Nesibe Journal IESDR","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122166634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evaluation of sexuality, sexual education and counseling is an important part of women's health. Sexual counseling provides interaction with the patient to obtain information about sexual concerns and a safe return to normal sexual activity. Many models can be taken as a basis when providing sexual counseling services. Sexuality is an area that is difficult to talk about, so the use of models are effective ALARM, PLISSIT, BETTER, ALLOW, IMB, sexual health education and counseling. Nurses need to think multidimensionally about sexuality and many factors affecting sexuality so that they can provide an effective counseling service on sexual issues and make sexual evaluations. While nurses provide counseling services on sexual issues that are difficult to express, their use of sexual counseling models facilitates this process. In this article are included sexual counseling and its models. It spread rapidly and caused a global epidemic. The disease has been termed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) over time. This study aims to use it for diagnostic purposes by comparing hemogram (CBC) parameters, C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and inflammatory marker ratios such as Neutrophil/Lymphocyte (NLR), Thrombocyte/Lymphocyte (TLO) with the PCR test results of patients with a pre-diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in the outpatient clinic. Materials and Methods: PCR test was performed on 1329 patients who applied to the Internal Medicine outpatient clinic of Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine with symptoms similar to SARS-CoV-2, and simultaneous CBC and CRP were requested. 515 individuals with positive test results and 814 individuals with negative results were divided into two groups. CBC, CRP, NLR, TLR, Thrombocyte/Neutrophil (TNO) and CRP/Lymphocyte (CLO) ratios were evaluated retrospectively. Results: Age, CRP, TNO, TLO, CRP/Neutrophil (CNO), CLO, CRP/Thrombocyte (CTO) and CRP/Monocyte (CMO) were significantly higher in the group with positive PCR test, however, leukocytes, thrombocyte, neutrophil, lymphocyte, eosinophil, basophil and Thrombocyte/CRP (TCO) were found to be significantly lower. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of hemoglobin, monocytes and NLR (p˂0.05). When the multiple binary logistic regression model is applied, it is seen that leukocytes, thrombocyte, eosinophils, basophils, CMO and TCO show a significant decrease in PCR positive status, while hemoglobin, monocytes and TLR increase (the overall accuracy of the model is 78.3%).
