This is because of a change in the controlled regime in the pre-liberalised to a meticulous dilution in the post-liberalised era. Hence, the liberalised period witnessed an upward trend in price dynamics with only occasional dampening in the price cycles. The jewellery sector in India is not driven by local forces as most of the inputs are imported for production and value-added export. It is revealed that the positive impact is the result of liberalisation and related mechanisation. Gold price shows a kind of co-integration of domestic prices with the global cues. In the pre-post-dichotomy, the post-liberalisation period is more integrated with the global prices than the pre-liberalised.","PeriodicalId":394459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management Research and Analysis","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132826538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A Prospective study was Conducted at Central laboratory Department of Biochemistry Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital for a period of three months from December 2021 to February 2022.During this period different types of pre-analytical errors were monitored. Out of 279,137 samples received during the study period, 152 samples were found to be unsuitable for testing, accounting 0.054% of the rejection. All the samples were rejected due to different types of pre-analytical errors that are due to haemolysis 140 (0.050%) followed by wrong sample 6 (0.0021%), Typing error 3 (0.00107%) and Wrong ID 1(0.00035%).Out of these rejection 148 samples were from IPD and 4 samples were from OPD. Pre-analytical errors occurring in each laboratory have to be checked. In this study pre-analytical errors in IPD samples were more than OPD samples. Such errors are not inevitable and can be avoided with diligent application of quality control, continuing education and effective collection system.","PeriodicalId":394459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management Research and Analysis","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125393794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As liquidity and profitability are inversely related to each other, hence increasing profitability would tend to reduce firms’ liquidity and too much attention on liquidity would tend to affect the profitability. Though every firm tries to maximize the profitability by preserving the liquidity but, increasing profits at the cost of liquidity might cause serious trouble to the firm and this problem might lead to financial insolvency as well. Thus an effective balance between liquidity and profitability is very much required to achieve both of the objectives of every firm, i.e. liquidity and profitability. To increase profit, a firm need to forgo liquidity which might damage the firm’s goodwill, deteriorate firm’s credit standings and that might lead to forced liquidation of firm’s assets and excessive liquidity on the other hand indicates the accumulation of idle funds that don’t fetch any profits for the firm. Hence a study is very much required to understand how firms earn profit without compromising the liquidity. This study is an attempt to establish the relationship between the liquidity and profitability of top ten Indian cement companies. The data has been analyzed using Spearman's Rank Coefficient of Correlation and it is found that both liquidity and profitability is negatively correlated which confirms the theoretical viewpoint.","PeriodicalId":394459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management Research and Analysis","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127070580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Panigrahi, Kushal Vachhani, Mohit Sisodia","doi":"10.18231/j.jmra.2022.006","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18231/j.jmra.2022.006","url":null,"abstract":": All of the choices made in the workplace concerning cash, receivables, inventory, and payables influence how a corporation maintains its liquidity level. Liquidity plays a vital role in the successful functioning of every business. The important part in managing working capital is maintaining liquidity on a day-to-day basis to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to meet its obligations. Hence, it is very important to keep a close eye on the liquidity position of the company as without it, the company cannot survive. But efforts to increase the profitability would tend to reduce firms' liquidity and too much attention on liquidity would tend to affect profitability. No doubt, every firm tries to maximise profitability by maintaining liquidity. But the question arises, is it the liquidity or profitability that helps in maximizing shareholder’s wealth by increasing the share price of Indian cement companies? Hence, the study is aimed to understand the impact of liquidity and profitability on the share price of Indian cement companies.: To determine wheather investors in the cement sector should prefer companies those are liquid or profitable, we applied the t-test, correlation test, and the resultant p-value. It is found that, having a quicker cash conversion cycle (CCCy) increases the company's market value indicating that, higher the liquidity, more is the chances that the share price may go up.: It is found that the profitability in cement companies isn't as high as the company's ability to pay its debts, i.e. liquidity. In other words, the liquidity of Indian cement companies are more and the profitability is less, and the market value of a firm rises in tandem with the growth in its liquidity. Moreover, when the market value grows, the CCC decreases, whereas the economic value added (EVA) increases.: Prior studies reveal that the working capital requirements of Indian cement companies are much more as compared to other industries. Although low operational cash affects the daily operations of the business, excess working capital usage will harm the firm's profitability. Hence, the question, why do Indian cement businesses need so much of working capital? This study's purpose was to answer it. The findings of this research states that, companies believe that maintaining liquidity will increase their share price.: Conceptual Research","PeriodicalId":394459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management Research and Analysis","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132603354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
