We can see diffusers being utilised in the home and business, and they just require a few drops of essential oil. The aromatherapy might help the person relax. Many essential oils, such as lemongrass, orange, lemon, and rose, can be observed because their aromatic compounds can help individuals relax and quiet down. Plant essential oils can also be utilised to treat inflammation, infections, and cancer. Traditional hydrodistillation is the most common method for extracting essential oils, but it takes time and energy. As a result, different techniques have been adopted, such as microwave assisted extraction. Scanning electron microscopy was used to characterise essential oils in this work (SEM).","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128688967","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many makerspaces had already been operated all over the world, makerspaces in UAE had not been well-activated comparatively. The objective of this paper is to examine the context, analyse the problems in makerspaces in United Arab Emirates, and to present the planning direction of makerspaces for revitalizing startup ecosystem in UAE. As a methodology, the definition of makerspace the status and main characteristics of U.S. and UAE and makerspaces are analyzed. To derive the direction of makerspace planning, a comparative analysis between three makerspaces in U.S. and three makerspaces in UAE is conducted with literature research and interviews. The comparative analysis result is as follows. First, it is essential to establish the location and space plan in the planning phase. Due to the nature of makerspace's business model, the context of location is extremely crucial. Second, it is essential to establish the plan for equipment. The size of the space and the architectural plan are determined by the type and amount of equipment in the makerspace based on their usages. Third, various programs and contents for education, collaboration and exchange ideas should be provided. Makerspaces are essential not only to provide space, but also to carry out various programs to spread the maker movement and promote startup activities. This study will serve as a basic data to create and enhance a makerspace in United Arab Emirates and if future research will be supplemented, it can be an efficient guide for decision-making process to prepare the design guidelines and operation plans.","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126672579","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Peter Zumthor's architecture creates a prosperous atmosphere via a profound understanding of the site's placeness. By contemplating the appropriate material and devising a combination method, detail, and construction method that can honestly express the essence of each material, it strongly reveals the tectonic aspect, the contemporary trend of regionalism architecture. Based on the analysis of Peter Zumthor's works from the viewpoint of regionalism to find the common elements of regionalism in contemporary architecture, it was investigated that critical regionalism is the basis of a regenerative regionalism that analyses and reflects the elements of placeness, tectonic, and tactility. In contemporary regionalism, it was recognized that the value of democratic production-reproduction, which is a regenerative regionalism’s characteristics, tends to increase with placeness, tectonic, and tactility, and this fits well with the trend of contemporary architecture toward sustainable architecture.","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116793529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Organizations would need to recognize the importance of adopting the different types of technology as an enabler to ensure their survival in this new paradigm shift. Industrial 4.0 will change organizations and business models particularly in the manufacturing sector. Recognizing the importance of Industry 4.0, many countries, such as the USA, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and others, have begun deriving national policies, plans and strategies to accelerate digital transformation in the manufacturing value chain through various information technology enablers. Supporting such policies are also the various technical reference models which attempt to provide a set of standard and guideline of technology adoption particularly in the area of assets and organisational integration. This paper evaluates the common reference models for Industrial 4.0. These reference models share commonality and differences with the aim for national or local adoption albeit the desire to strive for global emulation and acceptance. While localisation of reference models is logical, these models lack the consideration of social-technical focus, including further research needed on asset integration with security and data interface standard, method to mitigate high cost of adoption, and in the areas of workforce and business process readiness.","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125917836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most dampers are categorized in three categories which is active, semi-active and passive damper. Magnetorheological (MR) damper is categorized under semi-active damper. This type of damper utilize rheological fluids which is in normal state its free-flowing liquid but when magnetic field or current is applied, the fluid will change its viscosity. This paper review 8 MR damper which are hybrid with eddy current, multi-coil, rotary high torque, orifice hole, permanent magnet, serial-type with flow channel, extra grooves around the housing, and high speed adaptability. The research and development still on going to find the best means as possible to utilize rheological fluids in MR damper. This review is very important to the new researcher in order to find new way to further improve MR damper.","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132384070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SANAA has developed the architectural ‘atmosphere’ as its design methodology and called it as a landscape (the contemporary scenery) for people. The objective of this paper is to explore the examples of ‘Atmosphere’ in their projects and SANAA’s design methodology to define Atmosphere and discover new design vocabulary for Atmosphere. As a methodology, the interpretation of SANAA's own statements and explanatory texts and exploration to find consistency in fragmentary and multi-faceted statements were conducted. In addition to the analysis of speech, in approaching the atmosphere as an embodied substance, it was attempted to trace and discover which architectural representations are closely related to the concept of atmosphere in the design result. The analysis result had shown that SANAA used three main approached for atmosphere as follows: 1) an expression strategy to reset the hierarchy, 2) an expression strategy of transparency and abstract simplicity to clearly express the architectural concept they want to convey, that is, the essential nature of the project, 3) a strategy of tricks to induce discovery. SANAA has been pursuing a new freedom and has incorporated multiple values into it and tries to embody the concept of atmosphere via the various representational strategies: hierarchical reconstitution of space, transparent and abstract simplification, and non-deceptive trick.","PeriodicalId":394166,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering Innovation","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116995664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
