It is important to reduce gas emission that is associated with global warming. In road construction, Cold Asphalt Emulsion Mixture (CAEM) is considered more environmentally friendly than hot mix asphalt because it emits fewer emissions; however, its strength and durability are not as good as those of hot mix asphalt are. In this research, the type of gradation used is open graded. In order to improve the performance of CAEM, 12 mm-long polypropylene fiber was added as an additive. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of adding polypropylene fiber to Open Graded Emulsion Mixture (OGEM) and to determine the curing effects on its parameters. Further analysis of the results showed that polypropylene fiber content at 0.1% could increase the stability of mixture but increasing the content of polypropylene fiber in mixture tended to decrease the stability of OGEM. The newly proposed MCHS is made up of circular microchannels slotted from the top within a trapezoidal shape, and its cooling effectiveness was compared to that of traditional rectangular MCHS. Each MCHS under consideration has the same hydraulic diameter and heat transfer surface area. Water volumetric flow rates (Qin) with a wide range of values are used, ranging from 40 to 90 ml/min, with the fluid inlet temperature set to 20 oC. A constant heat flux boundary condition of 100 W/cm2 is supplied on the MCHS bottom. The results demonstrated that the inclusion of reentrant trapezoidal shapes can disrupt both hydrodynamic and thermal boundary layers, as well as accelerate fluid flow and mixing in the main flow, resulting in a significant heat transfer enhancement. The severity of erosion by solid particles depends on several factors, including the properties of the particles (e.g., size, shape, hardness, and velocity), the properties of the material being eroded (e.g., hardness, toughness, and ductility), and the environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, and corrosiveness). This research has two parts. The first part involves the development of a locally manufactured erosion rig, while the second part is theoretical and utilizes a CFD program. The erosion process was carried out with different cumulative weights from impingement solid particles, impact velocities (25.2, 35 and 45 m/s), impingement angles (30°), feed rate (10 g/min), temperature (25 °C) size diameters of solid particles, (350-500) and percentage of reinforcement silicon carbide composites (5, 8 wt.%) of silicon carbide (SiC). Validation and comparison of the results between practical and theoretical analysis. The target materials are unreinforced polyester, polyester -5 wt % SiCp composite and Polyester -8 wt % SiCp composite. The composites with 5 wt.% SiCp shows better erosion resistance than unreinforced polyester and 8 wt.% SiCp composite. In these applications and others, the turbulent flows often involve complex geometries, multiple scales of motion, and nonlinear interactions, which make it challenging to simulate and predict turbulent flow behaviour accurately. As a result, turbulence modelling plays a crucial role in these applications by providing an efficient and cost-effective way to model the complex physics of turbulent flows. Several turbulence models have been developed and are commonly used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to predict the behaviour of turbulent flows. In this work, the Navier-Stokes equations and transport equations of turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent dissipation are solved using finite difference approximation. The study of adding ultrasonic stimulation focuses on two critical elements, the draw force and its impact on the energy consumption during the drawing process, and the stress induced on the aluminium wire. This paper aims to identify the IAQ pollution status according to the characteristics of nursery rooms and playrooms and suggest ventilation methods. As a methodology, indoor temperature and humidity and indoor air pollutants (Carbon Dioxide (CO2), PM10, Formaldehyde (CH2O), TVOC (Total volatile organic compounds) were measured in two different scales nurseries. The result showed that CO2 was measured below the maintenance standards of KHDA regulation at all measurement points, nursery A at 870 ppm and nursery B at 860 ppm. PM10 has exceeded the maintenance standard of 100 μg/m3 in the playroom and nursery room of nursery A due to less cleaning times and ventilation. TVOC was 1,504 μg/m3 and 723 μg/m3 in both facilities, exceeding the recommended standard of 400 μg/m3 in the nursery room. CH2O concentration was below the maintenance standard at all measurement sites. Frank Gehry is an architect pursuing extreme forms and thinks modern box-shaped architecture is bland and lacks feeling/passion/love. This paper aims to examine the characteristics and meaning of the museums designed by Gehry, Gehry's unique architectural view, and the elements of his museum designs. As a methodology, the classification of modern museums in Newhouse's \"Towards a New Museum “and trends in modern museum architecture are classified into six categories in Montaner's book \"Museums for the 21st Century,\" which are used as a framework for comparative analysis to point out the characteristics of the Gary Museum and derive the location and meaning in modern museum architecture. The result shows that his architectural tendencies of fragmentation and duality are applied to the Gary Museum, revealing complex characteristics in terms of composition by contrasting combinations of formality and irregularity in materials and forms. The intricate design of the Gary Museum reveals its strong presence by creating a sculptural museum that encourages a four-dimensional experience both inside and outside. It was statistically proven that the above characteristics of the Gary Museum represent an aspect of the modern museum that is becoming a popular entertainment medium. A relaxed and comfortable exhibition environment was promoted by weakening the excessive rigidity in the exhibition space through the changeable ceiling treatment. Peat bogs are an important ecosystem that contributes significantly to global climate stability. Peat from Malaysia is tropical peat. This peat has distinct features that distinguish it from other types of peat. This soil is normally dark reddish-brown to black and made up of partially decomposed leaves, branches, twigs, and tree trunks with a low mineral content in its natural state. Various of experimental and study has been conducted to improve and stabilize of peat soil due to compressibility and geotechnical characteristics of peat. Peat also is an inadequate soil for sustaining foundations in its natural condition due to its high moisture content (>100%), high compressibility (0.9-1.5), and poor shear strength (5-20 kPa). Thus, injection method of Eco-Processed Pozzolan (EPP) will be used to increase the stabilization of peat soil. The study of index properties such as von Post scale, natural moisture content, liquid limit, bulk unit weight, specific gravity, initial void ratio, pH value, linear shrinkage, plastic limit, fiber content, ash content and organic content and composition compressibility of peat soil will be conducted; present of compressibility of peat soil with Eco-Processed Pozzolan (EPP). A comprehensive laboratory work will be carried out to study the compressive parameters of hemic peat stabilized with various quantities of Eco-Processed Pozzolan (EPP) which they were subjected to Rowe Cell Consolidation test between disturbed and undisturbed samples. However, in some real-world environments, the assumption of fixed parameters of jobs is not valid since job parameters are uncertain. An uncertain parameter can be modelled as a random variable within some interval with some lower and upper bounds, called bounded. The objective of this paper is to review the investigated scheduling problems with bounded processing or setup times. The scheduling literature is reviewed, the addressed problems are analysed, and classified based on shop environments (single machine, parallel machine, flowshop, job shop), performance measures, the approach taken in the papers to solve the considered problem, and interval/bounded processing times or setup times. Heat Transfer Analysis of Melting Process over A Horizontal Three Fins Tube With Different Orientations 不同取向水平三翅片管熔化过程的传热分析

A paraffin wax was used as a phase change material (PCM). Some parameters were considerable in this work like the directions of fins at angles of (0°, 30°, 60° and 90°), temperature of the water entering to the finned tube at (55, 65 and 75) °C and the effect of water flow rate inside the finned tube at (7.5, 15 and 22.5) liters / min. The law of energy conservation was used to find the amount of potential energy stored inside paraffin wax by calculating the energy liberated from the hot water entering the system. The results showed that the effect of the temperature of water entering to the system has given increases in the melting with rate of (64.3)% at a temperature of (75) °C compared to the water temperature at (55) ° C. Also the increases in melting rate has reached to (17.5)% at the flow rate (22.5) liters / min compared to the flow rate (7.5) liters / min . The melting has reached to (25.6)% at the angle of (30) degrees compared to the angle of (90) degrees. The results also showed that when using temperature of (55) ° C, water flow rate (7.5) l/min and rotation angle of (30°) that the maximum enhancement ratio in the melting fraction reached to (5.74)% and when using the water temperature (65) degrees and flow rate (15) l/min and the angle of rotation (30°) the maximum enhancement ratio was (11.9)%. When using the incoming water temperature (75) °C and flow rate (22.5) l/min and the angle of rotation at (30°) the maximum enhancement ratio was (12.03)%. The highest percentage of time savings was also reached (12.03%) at the angle of (30°) compared with (90°).
