Kuwum Village in Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia, has enormous potential in developing Trigona honey farms because the village is still surrounded by various types of annual plants as plantation land as well as village greenery. The problem is that most of the farmers have not been able to clearly see academically whether the business they are developing is profitable in the long term or not even feasible to develop, so this study aims to conduct a financial analysis in the development of Trigona honey in Kuwum Village. Methods of collecting data and information by sampling method Non Random Sampling approach by taking key informants and then developed with the method of snowball sampling. The data collected were analyzed by using an investment feasibility analysis technique approach, namely Payback Pariod and Net Present Value. After analyzing the existing data, it was found that from the payback period of the invested capital in the form of purchasing Kukungan Trigona honey in an average of 10 units in an estimated effective harvest period of 7 years, capital can be returned within 4 years and 1 month. With indicators measuring interest rates and net cash inflows compared to the initial investment, you get a positive NPV, meaning that the investment is feasible to continue, even on a larger scale.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116488629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The idea tries to encourage employees to engage in farming as the nation struggles to pay for essential imports like fuel, food, and medication. Most employees are still working even in declared national holiday Friday. This is because of four working days are not enough to finish their tasks. People waited longer in gas lines, which made it difficult for the country’s workforce to arrive for duty on time and in a productive manner. There are few public and private transportation options, which lengthens travel times for employees. Additionally, workers must pay high travel expenses, which raises their cost of living. Moreover, the employees stuck in traffic and unable to manage the crowded public and private transport facilities led them stress at work. As a result, people must balance job and personal obligations. This study was aimed to measuring the level of work-life balance among employees who were working in government schools, divisional secretariat, and hospital. A total of 120 employees were selected using random sampling method from government schools (40), divisional secretariat (40) and hospital (40) in Nintavur. The measuring tool was modified questionnaire of Hayman (2005) which consisted of 15 questions. Data were subjected to descriptive statistics. The results of the study revealed that the level of work life balance of employees attached to government schools, divisional secretariat, and hospital in Nintavur was moderate level.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130074265","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, there is a rising concern regarding those who are excessively using technology which can lead to Internet addiction. This may eventually result in marked distress and functional impairments of the general life of youth such as academic performance, social interaction, future occupational interest, and behavioral problems. Nonetheless, the condition is widespread and problematic, limited scientific evidence is available on the diagnosis of Internet Addiction Disorder globally as well as locally. The objective of this study was to adapt, translate and validate an instrument (Internet Addiction Test) to assess Internet addiction disorder to the Tamil Language among 15-19-year-old adolescents in Colombo district. Internet Addiction Test (IAT) developed by Young (1998) was adapted, translated, and validated into Tamil language resulting IAT-Tamil version by conducting a descriptive cross-sectional validation study. The developed tool was intended to assess Internet addiction disorder among 15-19-year-old adolescents in Colombo district. Statistical analysis was carried out to test the construct validity with a sample of 225 and a sample of 240 for the Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The statistical analysis was carried out by using SPSS-21 (Principal Component Analysis) and LISREL 8.8 (Confirmatory Factor Analysis). The reliability was assessed by internal consistency and test-retest reliability methods. The IAT-Tamil version demonstrated a three-factor model with 20 items and the model indices were RMSEA=0.07, CFI=0.91, NNFI=0.87, and SRMR=0.066. It also demonstrated excellent levels of reliability with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.948. The IAT-Tamil version was a valid and reliable tool to assess Internet addiction disorder among 15-19-year-old school-going adolescents in Sri Lanka. The validated IAT-Tamil version is recommended to use in future local studies and to aid the policymakers and the administrators in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of Internet addiction disorder among this age group.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130101903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Skill on spoken English is extensively significant for any type of communication and correspondence. The need of spoken English is indefinable in the fields of refined education process both at home and abroad, better career opening, smart business, global communication, information and technology and better survival. It’s a deliberate process to steep capableness of English language into learners since their pre-primary tutoring to undergraduate echelon. It’s apparent in the course and syllabus of Intermediate stratum in Bangladesh that the sole emphasis has been put only on reading and writing whilst listening and speaking proficiency are remaining dark, whereas speaking skill is indispensible for transnational communication, advanced study at home and abroad, professional and business purpose, operating information and communication technology, pursuing better career etc. In this regard, lack of provocation to learn and exercise, unconstructive tutoring outfit, testing strategy excepting spoken predicated outgrowths along with marks distribution and paucity of experienced instructors in English and so on are the crucial deficits behind this problem. It’s a study targeting at assessing the spoken capability of the 12 class pupils in Rangpur Division of Bangladesh. This qualitative inquest work took place in the month of April 2022 and June 2022. The 100 informants were selected right away. Out of 100 interviewees, 50 were from urban and 50 were from rural intermediate standing institutions of 8 Districts in Rangpur Division of Bangladesh. A Spoken Test on free speech for the pupils was carried out by the author. Their speaking perfection was tested through content analysis to evoke data. The result focused that the replier made desultory errors in great number on fluency, vocabulary, information, sequence of tenses, sub-verb agreement, applicability and treatment of words, use of preposition, intonation and pronunciation. As per data compilation, it was noticed that deficits made in the process were almost on part of the rural participants. In addition, phobia in speaking English and irrelevancy were two peculiar limitations among the pupils hailing from rural background institutions.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127098615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sound of Adhaan has a spiritual mandate to make people assert themselves in prayer. Dhaka is known as the city of mosques. Like many other Muslim residing parts of the world, for Adhaan, loudspeakers are also being used in Dhaka. The high-intensity sound of direct amplifiers often rises beyond acceptable public noise standard and destroys the sereneness of Adhaan. As there is a mosque in almost every 500 footsteps at Dhaka, Adhaan sounds of different mosques overlap. In this paper, 4 mosques from different residential areas have been taken which are adjacent to children’s playing fields. The intensity of ‘Magrib Adhaan’ (the evening prayer call) sound has been measured with a sound-level meter.The research has identified whether the Adhaan sound is within the acceptable limit and has addressed the vulnerability of being exposed to high-intensity sound on children. The study can help to make decisions about the use of amplifiers for Adhaan and can support people to sense the sereneness of Adhaan.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124048486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings are based on five (5) distinct print advertisements from the leading alcohol brands in the Philippines. The research focuses on how women are portrayed stereotypically in print advertisements. The research utilized both critical discourse analysis (CDA) and semiotics. It allows scholars to examine how various meanings and ideologies are produced, digested, and legitimized via social behaviors, instead of only reviewing discursive texts. The study is predicated on Fairclough's three-dimensional framework: description (textual characteristics), interpretation (discursive practice), and explanation (social practice). According to the findings, ads promote gender inequity. Advertisers use a concentrated technique to depict sexual gender stereotypes against women in alcohol ads. Such advertising supports the notion that women have sexually exploitative and fantasizing images in the alcohol industry, with men as large consumers. The study also indicates how the female role may be portrayed in other marketing industries evaluating alternative multimodal texts.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121827511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study was premised on three theories: frustration-aggression, rational choice, and criminal justice. The study area was Isiolo County. Isiolo County, is located almost in the center of the country, 285 km north of Nairobi. Though Islam and Christianity are practiced in Isiolo County, the inhabitants are largely Muslim. The county is mostly arid with some semi-arid areas, economically poor and marginal. The study focused on Isiolo, Merit and Garbatulla sub-counties. Additionally, the study was underpinned by descriptive survey research design. The sample size was composed of 287 households, remandees and mainstream prisoners, key informants, youth returnees and radicalized and extremist youths. The sampling strategies used included simple random sampling, purposive sampling for key informants and snowballing for youth returnees and radicalized and extremist youths. Data was collected through questionnaires, focus group discussions and key informant interviews. Quantitative data was analyzed through SPSS where descriptive and inferential statistics was generated while qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis with themes generated through verbatim triangulation. In line with specific objective one, the study concludes that demographic elements were critical in establishing the nexus between the criminal justice systems and youth radicalization. The study found that poverty, economic marginalization, religious fanatism, and overcrowding of the prisons were major drivers for youth radicalization in Isiolo County. Overall, the study concludes that despite various efforts and strategies adopted by the government, both national and County, to militate against youth radicalization in Isiolo County, Prisons aspect of criminal justice system has continued to face multiple challenges that have stymied its efficacy. Thus, the situation has continued unabated, to the detriment of the greater population of Isiolo County. The study recommends that a criminal justice framework be put in place to address the endemic factors for specific objective one to address radicalization.","PeriodicalId":393771,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128439503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
