Alomran","doi":"10.35552/0247.38.7.2238","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35552/0247.38.7.2238","url":null,"abstract":"Objectives: this study sheds light on disciplinary evidence and defines its features to ascertain if an employee has committed a disciplinary violation while carrying out his job duties. It demonstrates how the Administrative Investigation Committee can establish the burden of proof. Further, the study offers crucial recommendations for the Jordanian legislator to perform its duties effectively. Research Problem: the adequacy of organising special rules of evidence before the Administrative Investigation Committee to detect behavioural violations. The Jordanian legislator addressed these rules in Article 146/b/2 of the Jordanian civil service Bylaw No. 9 of 2020. However, these rules are not integrated, as it is assumed that the administration has complete evidence of claims of behavioural violations. It does not have the right to accuse the employee of deviating from his job mandate without evidence. The employee is also entitled to present evidence refuting such claims. Thus, it falls to investigation committees to search for the necessary evidence to clarify the truth. The study demonstrates the legislator’s lack of interest in the rules that deal with evidentiary evidence in disciplinary violations and the failure of the Jordanian legislation to organise evidence to detect violations committed by public servants. Methods: this study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach that compares the Jordanian, Egyptian and Emirati legislation concerning the rules of evidence. Results and Conclusions: the paper concludes by with the following results such as: Jordanian civil service Bylaw fails to organise the means of evidence and administrative papers, as the legislator did not explicitly grant the Administrative Investigation Committee the authority to review documents related to the violation. In contrast, they were expressly formulated in the Egyptian and Emirati legislations. As well as, the Jordanian legislator did not deal with the method of inspection before the administrative investigation committee in the Civil Service Bylaw, unlike the Egyptian legislator who regulated that method in the law and provided instructions to the Administrative Prosecution. Following the descriptive analytical approach and based on a questionnaire involving (198) male and female teachers, the study concluded that the level of IE teachers’ estimation of authentic assessment practice rated fair. Furthermore, study findings revealed no statistically significant differences related to gender or experience variables in teachers’ level of estimation. It aims to identify the syntactic features and to describe translatability of the syntactic features of Arabic and English Sharia divorce documents, accordingly, will help in assessing translators’ choices ad decisions. Being a qualitative descriptive study, samples of translated divorce contracts have been collected from Palestinian sworn translators and translation certified offices. Data is collected manually, and analysed using purposeful sampling, open-ended data collection, and personal interpretation. Analysis of the differences of syntactic features between Arabic and English divorce sharia court documents revealed that differences lie in the following aspects: the form of complex sentence structure, use of passive, use of nominal forms, binominals and triplets, modal verbs, conditional sentences, and the form of pronouns. The questionnaires that are built for the level of online self-presentation and level of exposure to cyber-harassment were constructed and evaluated for their validity and reliability. The two researchers relied on the questionnaire as a research tool, and they used the descriptive correlative approach as a method for the study. The study sample included (97) male and female teachers in kindergartens and schools on the autism spectrum, and the researchers concluded several results, the most important of which are: the arithmetic average of the field of verbal communication reached (3.89) with a percentage of (77.9) and a high value, and the arithmetic average of the field of non-verbal communication was ( 3.41) with a percentage of (68.3) with a high value. The arithmetic average of the field of challenges of communicating with the autistic child faced by teachers was (0.80) with a percentage of (80.5) with a high value. The results also showed that there were no differences in the responses of the study sample between the average responses of teachers to common forms of communication with children on the autism spectrum according to the variables of (gender, the level of educational qualification), and the presence of differences in the responses of the study sample according to the variables of (years of experience of 5 years to less than 10 years and the age of the younger age group of the sample from 21 to 30). Also, there are no differences in the responses of the study sample between the average responses of teachers to the challenges they face with children on the autism spectrum due to the variables of (gender, level of educational qualification, age), and there are differences in the responses of the study sample to the variable of (years of experience of 5 years to less than 10 years). Most of the studies on the relevance of IFRS-based accounting information were conducted in countries that had previous accounting standards before the adoption of IFRS. However, the relevance of accounting information is influenced by the accounting traditions inherited from previous practices. This study provides distinctive evidence on the relevance of IFRS accounting information by examining the association between accounting information prepared by Palestinian companies and share prices. Palestine represents a pure IFRS environment since IFRS is its first financial reporting framework. The study estimates the impact of accounting information, including book value of equity per share, earnings per share, and operating cash flow per share, on the market value of the share. Totally, the results show that the accounting numbers prepared by Palestinian companies are relevant. Precisely, earnings per share and book value of equity per share are the important variables in determining the share market value. Notwithstanding, no significant impact of operating cash flow per share has been observed. Moreover, evidence supporting the existence of conformity and predictive relevance is obtained, but the overall predictive relevance is higher. To enhance the relevance of IFRS information, this paper recommends local regulators and policymakers to work on improving the readiness of the Palestinian environment to fully benefit from the adoption of IFRS. On the other hand, the International Accounting Standards Board should adequately consider the circumstances prevailing in underdeveloped countries when issuing its standards. Several prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors are suggested as risk factors for ASD. This study aimed to correlate prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors in a limited number of cases in Palestine. Methods: A case-control study involved 120 children (60 typically diagnosed with ASD and 60 healthy matched with the ASD group). The parents of the children in both groups were asked to fill out the questionnaire. Results: The study showed a higher male-to-female ratio in the ASD group. A family history of ASD was reported in 38.3% of the ASD group and 11.7% in the healthy group. Three prenatal risk factors, including maternal passive smoking, preserving follow-up prenatal visits, and experiencing psychological stress by mothers, were significantly associated with ASD. Most of the postnatal factors were significantly associated with increased ASD risk. The studied perinatal factors were not significantly associated with ASD. The parental factors, such as paternal age greater than 30 years and lower levels of education, displayed significant risk factors associated with ASD. To achieve the objectives of the study, a content analysis card was prepared by using the educational literature of previous studies and research. It consisted of six main areas with (34) indicators. To ensure the content analysis card's validity, it was presented to a group of experts specialized in the field of education. Cohen Kappa equation was used to ensure the instrument's reliability, which was (0.87) across individuals and (0.92) over time. The results showed the level of inclusion of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) content in Omani school science curricula for grades 5 to 8. The total percentage was (37.83%), with a medium inclusion level, with a variation in the level of inclusion of these fields. The results also showed differences in the inclusion of STEAM fields in the Omani science curricula content for grades 5 to 8 according to the different grades. These differences were between (41.87%) for the fifth and (36.18%) for the eighth grades.
