This reserach design was quasi experimental research. The text with which chosen by the researchers was recount text. The sample of this research were students in English Department of Mayjen Sungkono University. The data of this research was reading test scores which were analyzed by using t-test. It was found that there was significant difference on students’ reading comprehension who were taught by using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) and the students taught by using non Collaborative Strategy Reading (CSR). This study consisted of 4 meetings. Each meeting consisted of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The result of post test showed that the mean score of posttest higher in experiment than control group. When Null Hyphotesis H0 was accepted it meant there was no difference significant in reading comprehension between class taught by using collaborative reading strategy nor without using collaborative reading strategy. Moreover, those two aspects are having a correlation to enhance their achievement in English comprehension besides writing and speaking. English learning in here has become a chance for the students to learn English as their foreign language. As we know, English as a foreign language is not an easy subject to be comprehended by students who have just learned it. Thus, students have to be more active and creative to create their own method to enhance their ability in English comprehension. This research was aimed to determine the correlation between students’ achievement in vocabulary and reading ability of the tenth-grade students at SMA 1 Bangsal. The research design was using the correlation design with the tenth-grade students as the population. When the research was conducted, the researcher only took some samples from tenth-grade students population by using the random sampling and found 75 students as the samples. Meanwhile, in collecting data process, the researcher has conducted the written test to find out the students’ achievement in vocabulary and reading ability. The data from tenth-grade students’ achievement was measured by Pearson Product Moment correlation formula, which become the analysis technique to evaluate a hypothesis concerning to the correlation between two variables that are examined statistically. Dweck and Elliot (1983) stated that achievement is an indicator of competence. Poor student academic achievement is a picture of the poor competence of Indonesian education, it is an urgent problem that must be immediately found a solution. The level of academic progress or academic failure is a criterion for the effectiveness of the education system, so research on various variables that effectively affect academic outcomes is urgently needed (Koshnam, Gamari & Gendavani, 2013). From the results of this study, the magnitude of the influence of mastery goal orientation on learning achievement is 4.4% with sig. = 0.001. It can be stated that the influence of mastery goal orientation is significant. The magnitude of the effect of performance goal orientation on learning achievement is 2.3% with sig. = 0.012. This can be stated the significant influence of performance goal orientation. The role of public relations in making communication strategy for this program in order to socialize and to be understood by the community is very important. This research aims to know the communication strategy of public relations in disseminating and know what obstacles occurred in running the program. The methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative with in-depth Interview as a method of gathering data and information. Based on the results of this research it can be concluded that the communication strategy used Ministry of ATR/BPN in disseminating PTSL is by using social media, websites and the surrender of the certificate directly by the President and assisted by regional offices (REGIONAL OFFICE) to assist in disseminating PTSL program. Barriers experienced by a lack of human resources and costs in disseminating these programs. This research uses qualitative research method of semiotics by using the main theory, that is Charles Sanders Pierce theory. Data collection is done by observation, direct interview with resource person, and literature study. From the results of this study it can be concluded that several meanings are contained in customary food of pork and goldfish according to the analysis of signs, objects, interpretations, and categories of signs in the form of icons, indices and symbols. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linier dan pertidaksamaan linier serta Matriks.Hipotesis tindakan yang diajukan dalam penelitian tindakan ini adalah “melalui pendekatan scientific berbasis lembar aktivitas siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X MIPA I semester ganjil SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta”. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan ha-hal sebagai berikut: (1) dari 36 siswa belum ada siswa yang mencapai KKM.
