This research uses qualitative research method of semiotics by using the main theory, that is Charles Sanders Pierce theory. Data collection is done by observation, direct interview with resource person, and literature study. From the results of this study it can be concluded that several meanings are contained in customary food of pork and goldfish according to the analysis of signs, objects, interpretations, and categories of signs in the form of icons, indices and symbols. 摘要

这项研究的目的是找出在传统的鸟巴塔克婚礼游行中猪肉和金鱼的习惯食物仪式中包含的含义。本研究采用符号学的定性研究方法,运用主要理论,即查尔斯·桑德斯·皮尔斯理论。数据收集采用观察法、直接访谈法和文献研究法。通过对符号、指标、符号等形式的符号、对象、解释、类别的分析,可以得出猪肉、金鱼这两种习惯食物中蕴含着多重意义。从传统食物中可以得出的含义是:a)头部(ulu)分为三部分:1)右上颌骨(na marngingi parsiamun), 2)左上颌骨(na marngingi parhambirang), 3)下颌(osang), b)尾巴(ihuri -ihur), C)颈部的圆圈(aliang-aliang), d)肋骨的圆形背部(东部),e)腹沟(soit)和金鱼(dekke mas)。
