Non linear tracking of ornithopters is important from army point of view.This algorithm can be used to track the ornithopters being used by the adversaries and note down or evaluate the pattern.The processing of this information will yield a meaningful data.These tracking system once developed in the hardware can be incorporated in the fire control system and can be used to bring down the enemy surveillance aerial vehicles flying at a low altitude and a low speed.The radar cross section offered by these ornithopters is very low of the order of few square meters.Hence non linear tracking is modeled using an Extended Kalman filter in this work in which a vehicle is made to follow a circular trajectory and plotted for true, observed and estimated positions.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117032169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To deal with the challenges photonics-based technologies are evolving with features such as broad bandwidth, fast signal processing, low loss transmission, high phase stability, multidimensional multiplexing and more. Microwave phonics are using the stable optical sources for optical generation along with optical to electrical (OE) and electrical to optical (EO) and hence presenting a bandwidth of several gigahertz which ultimately improves the resolution. This work is based on a research to simulate a trans receiver of a photonics radar using Mach-Zehnder Modulator for frequency multiplications and effectively demonstrating the ability to provide higher bandwidth which subsequently improve he resolution and performance of radar as compared to traditional ones. All the components of optical chain are analyzed vis-a-vis electronic counterparts. Optisystem 15 software is utilized to simulate the proposed transmission circuit behavior with varying the various parameters and path is paved for its realization in laboratory. The aim of project to simulate and compare the results claimed by authors and try to set a base for realizing a radar in laboratory.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116403762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Floorplanning provides a ground work to solve this problem by identifying the relative locations of modules(blocks) also estimates dead space (white space), total layout area (chip area) and wirelength among modules. This work describes a multi objective adaptive symbiotic organisms search (SOS) algorithm for soft modules with fixed outline. An adaptivity in Multi Objective Optimization (MOO) leads the way to metaheuristics for solving most of the real time problems be connected with electronics. A novel B*tree crossover operator is used by this SOS floorplanner. In traditional symbiotic organism’s search (SOS) optimization approach, crossover operation over B*tree is not attempted. The proposed SOS algorithm produces the effective combinations of B*tree structures as a result of crossover. Three phases of symbiotic organism’s search namely, mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism are effectively handled by this new B*tree structures. Search space exploration and exploitation are balanced by the effective combinations of B*tree structures. SOS algorithm results are compared with existing optimization methods mentioned in literature. The proposed SOS algorithm is more efficient in area and wirelength minimization than the state-of-the-art algorithms. MCNC (Microelectronics Center of North Carolina) benchmarks are used for testing SOS algorithm. Test results of SOS algorithm proves that better results are produced for wirelength minimization, area minimization and dead space minimization over previous floorplanning algorithms.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129900000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mostly the generated solar PV power is fed to the grid. The power generated from solar depends upon various dynamically changing environmental factors such as irradiation, temperature etc which demands an high spinning reserve over the grid side. In this article, a Deep learning Neural Network based model is implemented to predict the solar power generation of a solar plant by using various environmental parameters by which spinning reserve stress towards the grid can be adhered. The proposed Deep learning model is compared with the conventional neural network model of single & two hidden layers and the results are compared. The results shows promising efficiency of deep learning neural network based system over the conventional neural network for the power predictions on various environmental scenarios.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132079173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The good news is prevention and treatment for hypertension can be done with early diagnosis. So, there is a need for real time monitoring of blood pressure that can be done using Internet of Things (IoT) assisted health monitoring system. The proposed system collects the user’s health parameters using IoT sensors and identifies the stage of hypertension. The vital point of this system is to continuously generate emergency alerts of blood pressure fluctuation and dangerous changes in any other health parameters to hypertensive users on their mobile phones.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127834256","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is important that an electrical fault must be cleared within a short period of time in order to ensure quality and reliable operation. This can only be achieved by properly coordinated protective equipment such as circuit breakers and/or relays. In this research study, the researcher focuses on the protection coordination system of a 2000kVA – Low Voltage (LV) Panel 5 of student dormitory in university area located at Al Khoud, Oman. Protective device will be critically reviewed if it is based on local and international standards like the Authority for Electricity Regulation – Oman Electrical Standards (AER-OES) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) or British Standard (BS). A single line diagram of the 2000kVA – LV Panel 5 of student dormitory was taken into account and studied. Symmetrical and unsymmetrical magnitude of fault currents were determined at different locations using per unit method which is essential in determining the minimum Kilo Ampere Interrupting Capacity (kAIC) rating of circuit breaker at different fault locations; a pre-requisite in studying the distribution system if its protective device were properly coordinated. The researcher will ensure its effective coordination base on the data obtained and will graphically present its time-current curve (TCC) using ABB software.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125595560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These devices nowadays give less life span and accumulate more electricity directly and indirectly. Indirectly it accumulates more electricity due to the absence of our mind. An external automatic charge detector is added to the charge supplier of the respective device charger. That external device is operated using a mobile application that detects and indicates us using notifications too. If the user does not respond to the notification, an alternative solution of the buzzer and LED will alert the user. This idea can also be applied to giant tech companies and industries. It consists of an Arduino microcontroller, Main Device, and the power supplier to the device. The external charge controller system is the main system that controls the power off and on. When the battery level of the device is 100 %, the battery level indicator indicates the Arduino and Arduino will send a signal to the android application where the user connects with the Bluetooth module (HC-05). Then the user gets notified that the charge is full so, the user needs to command using the app whether to switch Off or On. If the user does not reply to the notification, the buzzer and the led indicator gets on after a few seconds and is customizable by the user.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126728327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the field of IoT there are a lot of smart devices and smart homes as a solution, like that only there are Smart Energy Meters which can be used as a solution in our homes. It is possible to use non-intrusive (contactless) load tracking using smart meters to control our home appliances' power usage. In this work, the electrical energy meter is used to calculate the energy usage and performance profile of the inner components of the electrical devices by checking how and what amount of electricity is passing through an electric wire in real-time. After calculating, it will save everything in its cache and be ready to upload it to the cloud and the microcontroller via sensors to any display device the consumer desires. Which can be stored for a longer period and accessed from any smart device to which it has previously been connected. This allows the consumer to understand how and which appliances use more electricity, allowing them to make plans on how to reduce usage, or set some rules and come up with new ideas to save electricity, power usage criteria, and the environment, or simply to use the appropriate appliances efficiently.","PeriodicalId":393569,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on System, Computation, Automation and Networking (ICSCAN)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121629689","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
