A methodology, algorithm, and software implementation for modeling an active power losses to corona as a voltage function are proposed, taking into account the voltage distribution along the line. A program has been developed in the form of a computational module based on a long-line equation. Active power losses to corona are taken into account in the form of nonlinear conductivity. However, there is a problem of phase-current imbalance in such converters, which leads to uneven loading of the phases and does not allow to achieve the design power and efficiency. An assessment is made of the positive effect of the proposed integration, which is expressed in a reduction in weight and size and labor intensity during maintenance. Structural modeling of an integrated starter–generator is performed with an assessment of the temperature indicators determined in the generator elements during its operation. The testing results for the main insulation of distribution and furnace transformers having different purpose and design are presented for three modes of operation: for a mode with no tank and oil, for a mode without oil and with a tank, and for a mode with a transformer immersed in an oil-filled tank. According to the results of testing, it has been found that the aging of transformer oil is characterized by a rapidly decaying exponent. The analysis shows that there is no established methodology for designing UAV electric motors that would take into account the peculiarities of their performance in various modes and allow determining the most efficient operating range of the electric motor. A method of designing UAV electric motors tied to their running modes is proposed. The aerodynamic characteristics of the propeller calculated with the use of computational gas-dynamics approaches are presented. The electric-motor calculation for a drone has been carried out with the use of the RMxprt and ANSYS Maxwell software packages. The main machine operating parameters of the electric machine are presented. The possibility of controlling the magnetic flux direction increasingly strongly attracts research community’s attention; however, most of the issues are still not covered in publications. One of them is maintenance of satisfactory mechanical characteristics of rotors with permanent magnets recessed into the magnetic circuit to increase the maximum possible rotation speed. Mechanical characteristics of the rotor with permanent magnets recessed into the magnetic circuit are analyzed.
