Percentages of distribution of adequate stated practice score among ASHAs AWWs, ANMs and Staff nurses were (25%), (16%), (38%) and (56%) respectively. The study result showed that the initiation of breastfeeding practice of staff nurses was (62%) within one hour. There was a positive significant co-relation between knowledge score and practice score of community health workers at 0.05 level of significance regarding MAA programme. \u0000Conclusion: The study was concluded with few recommendations to replicate on different settings, populations and can be implicated in the field of nursing education, nursing practice, nursing administration and nursing research. \u0000How to cite this article:Bera P, Mani S, Biswas R et al. In the last few years, hand phones have become an integral part of our lives. The number of mobile cellular subscriptions is constantly increasing every year. Mobile phone addiction and withdrawal from mobile network may increase anger, tension, depression, irritability and restlessness which may alter psychological balance, interpersonal relationship and family life. Keeping this in mind a cross sectional study was conducted to assess the impact of mobile phone use on marital relationship and family life in a selected residential area of Faridabad. A quantitative research approach was adopted and the sample of the study comprises of 160 married persons from a selected residential area of Faridabad by non-probability convenience sampling technique. Smart phone addiction scale-small version (SAS-SV) was used to assess the mobile phone addiction among married couples and structured rating scales were used to assess the impact of mobile phone use on marital relationship and family life. The data gathered was analysed and interpreted using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the study revealed that a substantial number of married couples were addicted to mobile phone. It was found that there was significant relationship between the gender of the married couples and mobile phone addiction and mobile phone addiction and its impact on family life. Judicious use of mobile phone will help the couples to use their time and resources more productively. \u0000How to cite this article:Jomy A, Sharma V, Fatima J. Quantitative descriptive research approach was adopted for the study. The sample for the present study comprised of 50 chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Purposive sampling technique was used. A structured knowledge questionnaire and an expressed practice checklist were used to collect the data. \u0000Results: It showed that the knowledge score of majorities of patients i.e. 43 (86%) with chronic renal failure undergoing haemodialysis had inadequate knowledge about dietary regulation whereas only 7 (14%) of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing haemodialysis had adequate knowledge about dietary regulation. The expressed practice score revealed that nearly two third of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing haemodialysis had average dietary practice i.e. 30 (60%), 18 (36%) had poor dietary practice and only 2 (4%) patients with chronic renal failure undergoing haemodialysis had good dietary practice. The co-efficient of correlation between knowledge and expressed practice score of dietary regulation (-0.083), was not found to be significant at 0.05 level for the degree of freedom 48. This shows that knowledge of chronic renal failure patients undergoing haemodialysis about dietary regulation was inversely but non-significantly correlated with their dietary practices. \u0000How to cite this article:Ranadive JP, Sharma V, Khan F. House to house survey and face to face interview were used to collect data using a Structured Interview Schedule and standardized Oxford Happiness Scale. \u0000Results: The data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Majority of the study subjects i.e. 65% were in the age group 60-70 years and 59% were females. 44% of them had moderate psychosocial problems. Anxiety was ranked 1st, depression was ranked 2nd, loneliness was ranked 3rd and low self- esteem was least prevalent out of all the other psychosocial problems. There was a significant negative relationship between the types of psychosocial problems and happiness. \u0000Conclusion: The study findings revealed that females were more prone to psychosocial problems as compared to males. The technique of using the bag can be taught to student nurses in different ways. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of video-assisted vs. demonstration method of teaching bag technique to student nurses from selected nursing colleges, Delhi. \u0000Methods: The conceptual framework was based on the systems model. The quantitative approach was adopted for the study with quasi experimental only post-test research design. Variables were age, gender and previous academic performance of students. The sample of present study comprised of 90 second year B. Sc. Nursing student nurses from selected nursing colleges of Delhi. The simple random sampling technique (lottery method) was used for selecting 90 B. Sc. Nursing II year students. The structured observation check list was used to assess the effectiveness of video assisted and demonstration method. A total of 11 experts from different fields established the content validity of the tool. Reliability was established through inter observer, percentage agreement method and it was found to be reliable. The method of data collection was direct observation technique. \u0000Result: The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics in accordance with the objectives of the study. The obtained mean difference between video assisted and demonstration groups was found to be statistically significant as evident from t value of 12.11 for df (60) at 0.05 level. \u0000Conclusion: The study findings revealed that the Video assisted and Demonstration groups were homogenous and comparable. Objectives of the Study: To assess the knowledge of adolescent girls on PCOS and prevention of its complications, to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of STP in terms of gain in knowledge of adolescent girls and to determine the association between pretest knowledge scores and selected demographic variables. Methods and Materials: A quantitative approach with onegroup pretest post-test design was selected. 60 adolescent girls were selected by convenient sampling technique. A STP was developed and data was collected from Bachan Prasad Senior Secondary School, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi by using Structured knowledge questionnaire. Result: The data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics and the findings showed that the mean post-test knowledge scores (25.5±3.71) was higher than the mean pre-test knowledge scores (15.85±3.6) with a mean difference of 9.65. The obtained mean difference was found to be statistically significant as evident from calculated ‘t’ value of 16* which is greater than table value of 2.00 at 0.05 level of significance.
