The results of forecasting multimedia data traffic characteristics were obtained. The use of the spline-extrapolation method has several advantages over other known methods, namely, ease of practical implementation, high accuracy of forecasting, the ability to accurately extrapolate peak \"bursts\" of traffic, which is especially important when solving problems in real time. The results will allow the raising the efficiency of network equipment use, as well as the provision of the required of buffer devices and the avoidance of network congestion. The process of structure transformation from the as-quenched state into a nanocrystalline state has been studied. The occurrence of hexagonal H-phase was observed within wide temperature and time interval. New equations determining normed dynamic variables, non-linear functions approximating the base current and emitter-base voltage, and coefficients of self-oscillatory system of deterministic chaos transistor oscillator built upon the Hartley circuit are considered. Numerical mathematical modelling of the Hartley oscillator chaotic dynamics in MathCad 15.0 software was performed. Phase portraits, as well as time and frequency characteristics of the generated chaotic oscillations were depicted. Their implementation can lead to qualitative changes in the modes of operation of transmission and distribution systems that are not observed in electrical circuits with losses. The aim of this work is to develop a mathematical model of the electric circuit, which includes a power line with distributed parameters and a superconducting power transformer in order to study the mode features in the long line, mainly in non-stationary mode. When constructing the equivalent circuit and the mathematical model, the serial circuit of the RLC type is used as the basic element. The parameters of the mathematical model are presented in a system of relative units. In solving the system of integro-differential equations describing the process in the circuit under consideration, the finite difference method is used. Mathematical models and modes in the circuit are considered in the case when several loads of the RLC type feeding through a step-down transformer and in the case when several sources of electric energy generation (distributed generation sources from a low voltage network) are connected to the transformer. Idling and load modes are considered for the case when the supply line and the transformer are presented as ideal (modeling the effect of superconductivity). One peculiarity of time delay estimates for conventional method of cross-correlation data processing is that they can be abnormal due to intensive noise influence and a limited interval of signal observation. Performance can be improved by pre-filtering of signal/noise mixtures in both channels. In addition to center weighted median filter proposed earlier, we consider application of 1-D filter based on discrete cosine transform (DCT).
