For the function of controlling industrial loops, a controller known as the PID controller is frequently used on account of its straightforward architecture, uncomplicated implementation, and excellent dependability. Traditional approaches to tuning the PID controller have their limits, but those limits may be overcome by incorporating more sophisticated tuning approaches. The main aim of this study is to provide the ideal design for tuning a PID controller using a Genetic Algorithm (GA) and an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in order to further improve the PID-based AVR system. The performance of the suggested approach is afterward compared with one another. The results of a simulation carried out in MATLAB show that GA tuning techniques give better performance.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117195455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A brain tumor, which has the potential to spread throughout the body and result in cancer, is one of the worst disorders. Using a novel material and observing variation in the S1,1 parameter to spot brain cancers is the main objective of this paper. An on-body microstrip patch antenna constructed in the K band and a three-size brain tumor in a brain phantom model were employed to identify the existence of brain tumor. This antenna can operate between 4 and 14 GHz. The resonance frequency of the proposed antenna was discovered to be 12.96 GHz in free space. A VSWR of 1.00 and −92.06 dB S1,1 was also measured in this area. S1,1 is −49.93 dB at 8.58 GHz in the Normal Brain and −40.51 dB at 11.87 GHz in the Tumor Affected Brain.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126546895","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous people have suffered serious injuries and lost their lives as a result of bike accidents. Bike riders can reduce their risk of collisions by wearing helmets. The advantages of smart helmets include a decrease in the number of bike accidents. The primary cause of fatality in the majority of accidents is a lack of quick first aid and emergency medical assistance. One of the primary causes of this might be the ambulance's late arrival, with no one at the scene of the accident to provide information to the ambulance. The objective of this paper is to develop a smart helmet powered by renewable energy that will ensure the safety of bikers. The helmet includes an Arduino as a microprocessor, Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) for phone calls, Global Positioning System (GPS) for tracking, and vibration sensors to detect accidents within a minute of detecting the accident, the system calls the registered number with a message and the precise position. Furthermore, if the user exceeds the average speed limit, the speed sensors will warn them. The rider can summon help in an emergency by activating the emergency switch. If the rider is not wearing a helmet, the bike will not start. Solar energy powers the prototype in its entirety. From the result analysis, it has been found that the developed helmet can provide safety to the bikers by conveying accurate and real-time information on accidents within minutes.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127956625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, three distinct shielding materials (Cu, Al, and Zr) were investigated for solid shielding and multi-layered shielding anal-ysis to reduce radiation exposure to electronics and humans. Despite the fact that typical single-layer shielding can work well, three-layer shielding performed better in this investigation in terms of decreasing the field values on the receiving side. With two proposed layered shielding techniques, the field values were lowered to 151.28 V/m and 169.71 V/m from 309.56 V/m and 279.50 V/m for solid shielding with copper and aluminum. Ansys HFSS finite element analysis was utilized to calculate the field for four shields, two of which consist of Cu and Zr layered shielding. The study demonstrates that layered shielding is superior in terms of field distribution and field exposure outside the shielding. Concerning the efficacy of this various shielding strategies, additional research is required with a focus on Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) estimation.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130292922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The special physical features of these materials facilitate prominent potential to elevate their modulation performance significantly in nearly all photonic scheme including electro-optical, and thermo-optical modulation. First-principles density functional theory (DFT) calculations were used to validate the pressure induced stability, electrical structure and tunable characteristics of two dimensional VTe2/NbTe2 heterostructure. The changes in their geometrical shape, band structure, magnetism, effective mass and mobility, total density of states and partial density of states, differential charge densities, and dynamic stability under numerous pressure were assessed. Our investigation imparts that phase transitions occurred under 9 GPa and 13 GPa. Total magnetization increased remarkably with increasing pressure applied on VTe2/NbTe2. Other properties like mobility, effective mass and differential charge densities faced gradual change with varying pressure. Pressure modulated VTe2/NbTe2 retained the dynamic stability up to 12 GPa. The results of this work reveal numerous features tunability of pres-sure induced VTe2/NbTe2 heterostructure, in order to improve performance in nanophotonic and nanoelectronic applications.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132597450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two specific models are introduced in the proposed system. Firstly, the semi-classical Thomas-Fermi model and secondly, the Hartree quantum cost model to consider the performance of this mannequin in one-of-a-kind temperature.
