As well as it has also ability to underline and represent time-varying spectral properties of many transient and other nonstationary signals. In DWT denoising is done only in detail coefficient, this offer advantage of smoothness and adaption. However DWT has a lack of shift invariance. This shift-variance is a major problem with the use of DWT for transient signal analysis and pattern recognition applications. Denoising of images with the DWT some time also give visual artifacts due to Gibbs phenomena in neighbourhood of discontinuities. In this paper, a shift-invariant analysis scheme is proposed for removing of additive Gaussian noise in stationary image. This paper proposes a Simple, Low cost & Small sized system for indoor localization. The basic processing elements of this system constitute RSSI & LQI (symbol error rate). An ISM band compliant low cost cc2500 zigbee module capable of outputting digital RSSI and LQI values is used for the establishment of wireless sensor network. Used process is a filtering method coupled with implementation of path loss algorithm on Matlab'11 platform. MMSE (minimum mean square estimation) algorithm is implemented for computing optimal system parameters. In particular, a new outage analysis for AF protocol has been carried out. Results obtained using this analysis matches with the simulated results. Outage probability analysis helps in deciding whether the targeted quality of service (QoS) is achievable or not. Performance of DF protocol will be better in case of low SNR while performance of AF protocol will be better in case of high SNR. It has been aptly named `Vertical Quarter Elliptical (VQE) Sheet Antenna' because of its shape. Its simulated return loss, VSWR, input impedance and radiation pattern are discussed. This antenna has a voltage standing wave ratio that is less than 2 (VSWR<; 2) and the return loss (S11) is less than -10 dB along the operational bandwidth of 2.4 GHz to 12.8 GHz. This means an operational bandwidth of about 137%. This tremendous increase is also brought about by an asymmetry in the feed position, the trade off being a slightly degraded radiation pattern. The radiation pattern of the antenna is of the type `end fire' which is made directional using a reflector. E-learning uses the concept of video conferencing for interaction between students' and tutors' in different locations. The tutor's actual presence is in a real classroom and the students can view their tutor through a video in a virtual classroom. Wireless microphones and video sensors are used, to facilitate an interaction between the students and tutors but sometimes it may not be as efficient when we use multiple speakers. In that case, it would be helpful if we can identify the student who asks a question first, either in the virtual or real classroom by using audio and video sensors. To make an E-learning classroom as similar to a real classroom, we propose a system that will utilize the professor's gestures; this will decide who can ask questions. This is particularly useful when we use several speakers in an E-learning classroom. The student who is asking a question, for the first time, will be located using audio and video sensors in either virtual or real classroom. The raised hand along with student's voice is used for localization. Analyzing the individual elements of the UTRAN architecture, a complete call flow between the afflicted vehicle and the emergency response station is developed. A basic investigation into the data flow through the MAC layer is also executed. Purpose of this paper is to restore the blurred images using blind deconvolution algorithm with canny edge detector. Initially original image is blurred using Gaussian filter. Then in the edges of the blurred image, the ringing effect can be detected using Canny Edge Detection method and then it can be removed before restoration process. Blind Deconvolution algorithm is applied to the blurred image to get reconstructed image. Blind Deconvolution Algorithm is used effectively when no information of distortion is known. Important features of metamaterial covers are: increases the rate of transmission and control of the direction of the transmission which enable one to design directive antennas. In this paper, A new Stacked Three Layer Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna Using single Layer helical resonating Metamaterial Cover is presented. The Return loss, smith chart, impedance, radiation pattern, gain, VSWR and directivity of such an antenna are studied. The possibility of increasing bandwidth, gain and directivity of the printed patch antenna using metamaterial cover is examined. Also reduction in the size of helical resonator is investigated. Here we theoretically demonstrate that its outmost dimension can be reduced to below 1% of the free space wavelength at resonance. Sengar","doi":"10.1109/WOCN.2013.6616253","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/WOCN.2013.6616253","url":null,"abstract":"This paper presents the design of an electronically scanning phased array antenna which is constituted using 130 RF MEMS capacitive switches conflated with a series of linearly placed micro strip rectangular inset feed patch antennas and a corporate feed network. The design and analysis is performed in Ansoft HFSS (version 13.0). As the urge of obtaining high radiation pattern, light weight, low cost and better performance over wide range of frequencies, the micro strip antennas is still in demand. A phased array antenna using high-Q metal-insulator-metal capacitors which are intended as loading elements in the phase shifter have been designed in this context. The simulated result sights the designed 4-bit DMTL phase shifter which provides nearly 22.5°/45°/90°/180° phase shifts for different combination of MEMS switches. The design is optimized for Ku band at 15 GHz and the return loss for the phased array antenna is annexed to be -27.41dB.
