Image steganography technique is widely used to secure information utilized for covert communication, featured tagging, copyright protection, military agencies and for many more applications related to secure communications. Image steganography using transforms shows more robustness against attacks. Here, Cosine wavelet transform, Walsh wavelet transform and Slant wavelet transform are proposed to be used for image steganography. Experimentation is done on 10 cover images for hiding 10 assorted message images. Results show that, without attacks Cosine transform performs better but in case of attacks on stego such as Cropping, brightness, darkness, wavelets of Cosine, Walsh and Slant transform performs better than individual orthogonal transforms.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115712356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the current trend, the proliferation of devices in the future is said to accelerate further. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a reliable and secure authentication scheme that authenticates a group of devices at once. This paper introduces a concept of group authentication which circumvents the need for individual authentication between a group of devices. Specifically, all the devices which are a member of the group are authenticated at once. Furthermore, the paper proposes a group authentication scheme using Paillier threshold cryptography which is a public key variant of the (t, n) threshold scheme. The proposed scheme is used to verify the authenticity of all the members taking part in a group oriented application. The scheme also helps in establishing a shared secret key between the members of the group which can be used for further communication in any group oriented applications.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116997313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are popular for their low profile geometry, light weight and low cost. This paper proposes a planer U shaped patch antenna in symmetric shape first and some modified form next. This paper initially proposes a new designed patch antenna in multi band and then some parametric variations are applied so that the required resonant length can be changed by which the resonating frequencies can be changed. 1st Proposed antenna is analyzed and then a new type of Patch antenna is introduced. The proposed Antenna is designed by using substrate of Rogers RT/ duroid 5880(tm) having thickness of 0.8mm initial design, and then substrate is changed to Z paper with different substrate thickness so that multiple resonating band can be achieved with enhanced Band width of application. The antenna proposed is designed and simulated using HFSS and results like VSWR and S11 Parameter for analysis is ploted. Finally a comparative study is done to show that how number of band and operating Band Width can be enhanced for planer Antenna system.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127122350","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although applicable at any frequency, S-parameters are mostly used for networks operating at radio frequencies (RF) where signal power and energy considerations are more easily quantified than currents and voltages. The basic idea consists of considering the filter as a two port network, then the open circuit and closed circuit responses of the filter can be derived by using the Impedance parameters. The scattering parameters are obtained by using the Impedance parameters. Insertion loss, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) for different filters in terms of S-parameters have been plotted at X-band frequency. Return loss is a measure of how well devices or lines are matched. A match is good if the return loss is high. A high return loss is desirable and results in a lower insertion loss. This paper which in turns provides most efficient filters used at radar receivers.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"484 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123408463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many applications such as multimedia and real time, which requires guaranteed QoS (quality of service) in the network. In this paper, we present QoS routing algorithm which finds a optimal path from source to destination as well as for other nodes in the network. Route discovery is initiated by source node and routing path is selected based on routing metric value which is having delay and bandwidth as constraints. The probability updation rule is used to increase the probability of beam in the direction of successful transmission and it reduces the routing overhead in retransmission. The simulation results demonstrate the routing overhead which reduces as the number of iteration increases. It shows significant improvement in terms of average routing overhead with directional transmission over omnidirectional transmission.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114062433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are various applications which require exchange of data between parties. A fair exchange is required since the chances of attacks have been greatly increased. Hence a new protocol has been implemented for the fair exchange of data between parties called contract signing protocol. Although there are various techniques applied for the security of these contract signing protocols such as using RSA [1]. This protocol use RSA to generate digital signature for the authentication of fair exchange between two parties, also in this technique instead of using single TTP (Trusted Third Party) and the trust can be distributed on multi TTP's. But the protocol implemented here in these techniques has less security issues and the chances of attack are more and also by using multiple TTP's storage cost is increased. Hence to overcome these limitations we propose an efficient and secure protocol of contract signing using OTPK (One Time Private Key). This technique requires less storage cost since there is no need to store any key at any end.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121525121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Future success depends on their scalability, performance and energy efficient routing. In this paper, general Least Cost Routing (LCR) requirements and unique challenges in meeting these requirements with respect to the characteristics of this framework is presented. Field Based Routing (FBR) minimizes the amount of bandwidth that will be used to forward packets and do not include dynamism of wireless mobile node's velocity, congestion and the criticality of the link or channel diversity in the selection of the route in to account. Intelligent routing based on these factors, not only on quality of the path chosen but also on potential network load high nodes' mobility, is more completely addressed by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with FBR. In this paper, we propose a new routing protocol “Enhanced Optimized Field Based Routing (EOFBR)” that allows each node to: (i) determine neighboring nodes' position, velocity and congestion in macro mobility, (ii) maintain LCR.","PeriodicalId":388309,"journal":{"name":"2013 Tenth International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117085258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose the Connectivity-enhanæd Interference-aware Energy-efficient Topology Control (CIETC) for 3D cooperative ad hoc networks, which can be applied in disconnected networks. The novel algorithm is performed to construct a cooperative energy t-spanner where also the topology's connectivity is increased under CC model and interference is reduced under interference model. We theoretically analyze the CIETC's cooperative energy t-spanner property. The simulation results show that 3D Coop.
