We aimed to assess the cost effectiveness of this tool as a guide to health policy makers. Complete CEA was conducted on data set prospectively collected from the ORL Clinic, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2016 to 2018. More than 53% of the patient’s age above 61 years old diagnosed for having PVD. The patients’ health outcome was measured by the modified version of MVVS and the cost involved in treating the related patient was calculated based on activity base costing. The health status of the patient increased by 17% and the cost saving appeared positive after 3 months applying Bal Ex at home. It is clearly demonstrated from the CEA plane. Bal Ex module innovation is a cost effective PVD treatment and align with the Sustainable Development Goal to achieve healthy wellbeing by 2030.","PeriodicalId":386583,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Health Sciences (ICHS 2018)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124173716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Urinalysis must be done when the sample is still fresh. Delays in examinations will have a major effect on the stability of the test and the validity of the results of the examination. In the stages of urinalysis or other laboratory examinations, the biggest error lies in the pre-analytic stage, among others, is the handling of samples prior to examination. The existence of this case requires us to deal with the problem. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of urine treatment with additional additives on the number of cylinders. This study is an experimental experiment with an interpretive posttest control group conducted in May 2018, at the Clinical Laboratory Laboratory Dr. Sardjito. A total of 30 urine samples were divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The control group only contained urine without the addition of boric acid, while the experimental group was given treatment in the form of addition of boric acid, the residence was carried out at 3 hours and 6 hours. Amount of cylinder urine was examined by Urine Analyzer Sysmex UF-500i. The results showed that the average number of slides decreased in delay for 3 and 6 hours in the chambers, both with boric acid addition and addition of boric acid. With the difference in 3 hours as much as 0.2 cells / μL higher the experiment and at 6 hours 0.3 cells / μL higher the control. The conclusions of this study are the effect of a number of urine cylinders which are resided within 3 hours and 6 hours at the temperature of the brain with the addition of boric acid. Anemia for adolescents is when hemoglobin levels are less than 12 g/ dl. This research was experimental research. The sample in this research were female students who suffered from anemia from 2 junior high schools in South Jakarta. The intervention group was given mixed juice of carrot and guava juice with iron supplement while the control group was only given iron supplement. There were 20 respondents in the intervention group and 20 respondents in the control group. The intervention was given 2 times for 4 weeks. Before being given to respondents, the mixed juice was tested at the Pharmacy laboratory of University of Indonesia. The results showed that the Sig. (p-value) of 0.036 <0.05, meaning that there was a statistically significant difference between the increase of Hb levels resulted from the administration of iron tablets and the mixed fruit juice compared to the administration of iron supplement only. Iron supplement is to overcome iron deficiency and it can reduce the prevalence of anemia. The mixed juice of carrot and guava is the most effective supplement to increase hemoglobin levels compared to iron supplement only. Street foods with egg as the main substance that are usually sold around an Elementary School located in Jatinegara district is telurgulung (fried rolled eggs). Salmonella is the bacteria that can be found in every food that contains egg. Salmonella can come from the hen as well as the surrounding environment. The purpose of this experiment is to identify Salmonella on street foods around Elementary schools located in Jatinegara district and to calculate the total of Salmonella found in telurgulung using Total Plate Count (TPC) method. This experiment aims to test the resistance of these Salmonella to the Amoxicillin, Chloramphenicol, and Ceftriaxone antibiotics by using Kirby Bauer method. According to the experiment that was done using 40 samples of fried rolled eggs street food, 2 samples found to be positively contained Salmonella, with the amount of colony 5,75 x 103 CFU/gr and 5,30 x 103 CFU/gr. According to KeputusanDirjen POM 2009, the amount of Salmonella colony that found in this experiment can still be categorized to be in safe range, as it is still under the maximum limit of microbial contamination on food, which is not more than 1 x 104 CFU/gr. Antibiotics resistant test result obtained is according to the inhibition zone diameter formed, Amoxicillin showed the highest resistance (100%), whereas the sensitivity of Chloramphenicol and Ceftriaxone were found equal (50%). Chloramphenicol and Ceftriaxone were more effective in preventing the growth of the isolated Salmonella compared to Amoxicillin.","PeriodicalId":386583,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Health Sciences (ICHS 2018)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133118513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
