Manufacturers' production of the vaccines has elicited a range of emotions from the public, including acceptance, rejection and even doubt. Sociodemographic factors play a role in Malaysians’ perceptions. Therefore, the goal of this study was to analyse Malaysians' perceptions of the National COVID-19 Immunization Program (NIP). For four weeks, an online survey was employed to perform the research. To answer the study's objectives, a descriptive analysis and the one-way ANOVA were applied. The study's findings revealed that the component of confidence in NIP, particularly in obtaining herd immunity to ensure life returns to normal, is important. There is a widespread public mistrust about the government's ability to manage vaccinations. The vaccination system should be improved according to substantial viewpoints regarding the program. Overall, confidence in NIP was strong while hesitancy in it was moderate. The public’s perceptions of NIP indicated that NIP in Malaysia received high acceptance and cooperation for oneself and family to be vaccinated. Vaccination is widely accepted in Malaysia by the multi-religious population as the need for vaccination is consistent with religious demands.","PeriodicalId":38537,"journal":{"name":"Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine","volume":"169 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85427014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This problem is further exacerbated by their involvement in drug use. These two incidents can lead to sexually transmitted diseases such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) in adolescents. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the TRIAD Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja (KRR) E-Module on changes in students' knowledge about sexuality, drugs, and HIV/AIDS. It used a quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent pre-test-post-test control group design. The samples selected were 40 class VIII students from Private Junior High School in Bandung Regency, while the variables analyzed included students' knowledge about sexuality, drugs, and HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, the samples were grouped into an experimental and a control group. The experimental group was given information from the E-Module and the effect on students' knowledge was analyzed using t-test. The results showed the influence of the E-Module on three primary threats to adolescent reproductive health (TRIAD KRR E-Module) with t=-5.973 and p=0.001. The types that are used for the enhancement of sport-and-athletic routines and to regain strength quickly are known as sports supplements. The main objective of this research is to assess the knowledge and attitude of young athletes in Baghdad city on the use of these sports supplements. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 304 young athletes in Baghdad city using self-administered questionnaires. The participants were selected using non-probability convenience sampling. The mean age of the participants was 26.89 years and the mean Body Mass Index (BMI) was 23.12 kg/m2. The most common supplements used were Mass protein (35.9%), followed by Whey protein (29.3%), and creatinine (15.1%). Around two-thirds (75%) of the athletes had previous information regarding sport supplements and the most common source of this information was their personal trainer at the gym (39.8%). Currently, 60.5% of the participants are taking sport supplements. There was a significant association between the knowledge variables (time for taking supplements, reasons for taking supplements, and taking the correct amount) and age (p-value 0.007, 0.005, 0.009), respectively. A majority of the participants, 78.9%, refused to take the forbidden supplements to improve their performance. Thus we can conclude that young athletes have an acceptable level of knowledge regarding sport supplements and a good attitude, especially toward the usage of forbidden supplements. However, many people often fail to adhere to these behaviour modifications. To better understand the issue, this study explores individuals' behaviour change situations during the COVID-19 pandemic and proposes appropriate design strategies. To collect valuable data for analysis, the researcher utilized three qualitative methods including observation, nominal group technique (NGT), and a user interview. Five facets of the current behaviour change situation were examined in Hefei, China. These include surveillance, publicity and information dissemination, public facilities and auxiliary tools design, people's attitudes towards behaviour change, and their actual behaviour performance. Moreover, the researchers also examined key challenges and design limitations of behaviour change situations, which were ranked based on voting results from three NGT groups. This must be prevented as it will have the side effect of injury. Patient safety incident prevention is a system that makes patient care safer, minimizes risk, and prevents injury. However, the system has not been fully implemented so patient safety incidents still often occur and the incidence of patient falls is still high. The purpose of this study was to identify the application of patient safety by nurses in preventing the risk of falling in the hospital. This study uses a literature review method from Pubmed and Google Scholar sources. Search using advanced search with predefined keywords. The search results obtained 13,373 articles, then were assessed for feasibility, categorized, and adapted to the research theme. 20 selected articles were used for research. Nurses are responsible for providing safe nursing services. Patient identification, effective communication, monitoring of medication administration, and assessment of falls should be performed. The implementation of the professional organization model makes it easier for nurses to prevent falls with the Morse Fall Scale guide and the Auto-FallRAS system from EMR. Nurses are more critical, reflective, and caring in making decisions and solving the problems of falling patients. Safety culture must be continuously improved so that the risk of falling incidents can be minimized. Conclusion: Nurse implementation in preventing the risk of falls in hospitals can reduce the incidence. This can also improve the quality of service in hospitals.","PeriodicalId":38537,"journal":{"name":"Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine","volume":"123 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86572562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
