The purpose of this study was to explore the community's need for emergency nursing services during the covid 19 pandemic. The research design was qualitative with in-depth interview data collection methods on 6 participants. The sample was selected according to the inclusion criteria, namely people who can speak Indonesian properly and correctly and people who have experienced emergency conditions during the pandemic. Researchers as the main instrument in the study and interview guides as a reference for questions. The results of the interviews will be written in the form of transcripts and then analyzed using thematic analysis methods to obtain research themes. From the results of data analysis obtained 2 research themes. The first theme is the need to strengthen trust regarding the safety, convenience and efficiency of services, the second is an integrated service from the nearest and advanced health facilities. Methods: Cross sectional quantitative design was carried out in this study. The population in this study was the entire family of toddlers. The research sample was 100 families with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Results:  The independent variables were the characteristics of parents including parent education (mom and dad), family revenue, and profession of mother. The dependent variable included the health care function implementation of families with toddler. Conclusion: Mother’s education, family revenue, and mother’s profession didn’t have a significant relationship with the health care function implementation of families with toddler. There was a correlation between father's education and the health care function implementation of families with toddler. Objective: This study aimed to determine factors associated with parenting stress among mothers with preschool aged children. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used in this study. Sample size of this study was 118 mothers who lived in Desa Jatisari, Kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten Jember, selected using convenience sampling. Data was collected using a demographic questionnaire, Parenting Stress Index-Short Form (PSI-SF), and a social support questionnaire which was developed based on Taylor's theory of social support. Statistical analysis used univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and ordinal logistic regression with statistical significance at an alpha level of 0.05.Results:  There were 90 respondents who experienced moderate parenting stress. As many as 12 mothers had low parenting stress, while 16 mothers had high parenting stress. Factors related to parenting stress were mother's education (p=0.015) and social support (p=0.000). The higher the mother's education and social support received by the mother, the lower the level of parenting stress is, and vice versa. Conclusion: In this study, level of education and social support were associated to parenting stress among mothers. Cooperation between nurses, families, and local health workers is needed to provide adequate social support to mothers with preschool children. Husbands and families are expected to provide support such as direct assistance in caring for children, appreciation, and love for mothers. Nurses can also work with local health workers in providing information to mothers related to developmental tasks of family with preschool-aged children and effective stress management for mothers experiencing parenting stress so that mothers will be more adaptive and avoid physical violence against children.","PeriodicalId":385095,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kesehatan dr. Plants made from natural ingredients, for example, bay leaves contain high flavonoids and are hypolipidemic as well as antioxidants that can inhibit oxidative stress. Objective: This study aims to to determine the effectiveness of the ethanol extract of bay leaves (Syzygyum polyanthum) against male white rats wistar strain diabetes mellitus with hypercholesterolemia. Methode: The experimental animals used were male wistar rats induced with streptozotocin at a dose of 30mg/kg BW. The test animals were divided into six groups, each group consisted of 5 rats. Group (I) as a normal control were given standard feed and 0.5% Na CMC, group (II) was given 0.5% Na CMC as a negative control, group (III) was given simvastatin as a positive control, groups (IV) to (VI) were given ethanol extract of bay leaves with a certain dose namely 500mg/kg BW; 750mg/kg BW, and 1g/kg BW.The data obtained were analyzed using One Way Anova statistical test with 95% confidence level. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the p value < 0.005, which means that the ethanolic extract of bay leaf has an effect on cholesterol levels in diabetes mellitus  male rats strain Wistar. This study was a quantitative study using descriptive analytical. A total of 6 experts and 41 users were participated in this study. A consecutive sampling was used in this study by criteria inclusion. The experts were given a form to evaluate and users were given a modified questionnaire of system usability scale (SUS). The results shows 97.6% of users was satisfied using the app (mean+SD=83+15.69). All of experts were considered the language in therapy, the appearance of the app, the ease of use, and the content were good. The experts gave suggestions for unseen buttons, lack of information for scoring, unbalanced audio, and confusing in satisfaction message. This GIANESIA app was useful for users with total SUS score >68 which means this app can be used for wider audience. 83.3% of the experts also conclude high satisfaction score >68, so the app and the therapy deserves to be implemented in preoperative patients. This application can be the latest breakthrough to support nursing interventions to make it easier for Indonesia nurses to work. Forms of nurse caring such as understanding and focus on patient, cultural sensitivity, and verbal and non-verbal communication. The caring barriers were ethnocentrism, conflicting perceptions, lack of cultural knowledge, language differences, inadequate hospital facilities, religious differences, patient family behaviour, ineffective coping, and body exposure. The strategies were providing translators, increasing education, organizational support, and improving coping strategies. Conclusion: The researcher concludes that when nurses do caring, they must pay close attention to the culture of the patient, and the strategies found in this study can be used to reduce the barriers that occur while nurses were caring for multicultural patients so that the patient does not feel different during health care.","PeriodicalId":385095,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kesehatan dr.
