The content of the chemical compounds responsible for the biological response must have chemical specifications, namely the composition information (type and concentration). The efficacy of traditional medicine based on the chemical compound. Therefore, the assay of the active substance a crude drugs and extracts needs to be done to ensure that a traditional medicinal products can be assured of quality and usefulness. The assay performed on botanicals and 50% ethanol extract of leaves of Stevia rebaudiana. The assay of the crude drugs and extracts from the stevia leaf area of Malang, Tawangmangu, and Bogor using High Performance Liquid Chromatograph method. Results of the assay stevioside on simplicia and stevia leaf extract obtained stevioside levels in simplicia stevia leaves from Malang, Bogor, Tawangmangu consecutive namely 5.65%; 3.89%; 1.59%. Bacillus cereus is one of the bacteria that causes diarrhea.This aims to the study was antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of leaves (EL) and bark broodstock (EB) on Bacillus cereus. EL and EB were extracted with ethanol 96% using maceration method. Antibacterial activity test was carried out with disk diffusion method in EL with a concentration of 30%, 60%, 90%, 120% and 150%, and in EB using concentrations of 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 100% then antibacterial activity measurements were taken. by looking at the Diameter of the Inhibitory Area (DDH). For ease of use that is made of dosage forms syrup. Thickening agent serves to increase the viscosity and resist settling process resulting in a stable syrup. Gelatin has the ability to improve settling extract better than other thickening. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the concentration of gelatin to the physical-chemical properties and activity of ethanol extract syrup mukolitik pare leaves the cow intestine mucus in vitro. Extraction of leaf bitter melon is done by percolation. EEDP was made into three syrup formulas using 1% (FII), 2% (FIII), 3% (FIV) gelatin thickener. There is also syrup without extract and gelatin (FI) as a control. The four syrup formulas were examined for physical chemical properties (organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity), and tested their mucolytic activity. Data on the results of activity tests in the form of viscosity were analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis followed by Mann-Whitney. Data from organoleptic examination, homogeneity, Ph were analyzed descriptively, while viscosity with Linear Regression. The results showed that EEDP syrup with a gelatin concentration of 1%; 2%; 3% have mucolytic activity. The results of examination of the physico-chemical properties of FII, III, and IV syrups have the same taste and color, sweet and bitter, and are greenish black in color, while FI syrup is sweet and yellowish in color. Homogeneous FI syrup, FIII and FIV syrup are evenly distributed, while FII syrup has coarse particles. Fourth pH normal syrup formula. This study aims to identify the symptoms of toxic effects, the potency of toxicity and histopathology of liver male Balb/C mice after a single dose of PS infusion. This research uses randomized matched posttest only control group design. Twenty five mice were divided into 5 orally dosage groups, ie, PS infusion with a dose of 0,026; 0.052; 0.104; 0.208 g/20gBW; and negative control of CMC Na 0.5%. The observation period is for 14 days. The results showed that single dose of PS infusion had a pseudo LD50 value ie > 0.208g/20gBW which was practically non toxic. Symptoms to watch out for the BW infusion were passive behavior, bradycnea, hair color change, hair loss, and weight loss at doses of 3 and 4. When the body experiences an imbalance, the body needs a compound that can increase antibodies. Flavonoids, polyphenols and alkaloids can increase antibodies. Flavonoids, polyphenols and alkaloids can increase antibodies. Ethanol extract of kedondong leaves contains compounds of flavonoid, alkaloids, and polyphenols. The purpose of this study was to determine the immunomodulatory activity of ethanol extract in IgM and IgG antibodies in balb /c mice induced by hepatitis B vaccine. Ethanol extract of kedondong leaves was macerated with 96% ethanol. The doses of the concentration of ethanol extract of kedondong leaves used were 5, 10 and 20% p.o for 46 days and vaccination was carried out on the 7th, 28th and 43rd days. Positive control was used with levamisole at a dose of 0.45mg / 20gBB by p.o. Analysis of Optical Density (OD) IgM and IgG on days 14, 35 and 46 using Friedman and Mann Whitney statistical tests. This study aims to determine the effect of polyvinyl alcohol on peel-off gel mask preparations from onion dayak ethanol extract on the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus that causes acne. Extraction using maceration method with 96% ethanol. The concentration of dayak onion extract was made at 5%, 7.5%, and 10% and the peel-off gel mask formula from dayak onion extract with variations in extract concentration were 5%, 7.5%, and 10% based on Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). Antibacterial activity is carried out using the disk disc method. In testing the inhibition of dayak onion extract at a concentration of 5% resulted in a clear zone of 15.5 mm, a concentration of 7.5% and 10% producing the same clear zone diameter of 17.1 mm. The peel-off gel mask in formulation I obtained a clear zone diameter of 8.7 mm, formulation II the diameter of the clear zone was 12.2 mm, and formula III the diameter of the clear zone was 15.3 mm. The results of this study indicate that on dayak onion extract has a greater inhibitory power compared to the dayak onion extract peel-off gel mask preparation. Zat ini secara nyata mampu memperlambat atau menghambat oksidasi zat yang mudah teroksidasi meskipun dalam konsentrasi rendah. Antioksidan juga sesuai didefinisikan sebagai senyawa-senyawa yang melindungi sel dari efek berbahaya radikal bebas oksigen reaktif jika berkaitan dengan penyakit, radikal bebas ini dapat berasal dari metabolisme tubuh maupun faktor  eksternal lainnya Radikal bebas adalah spesies yang tidak stabil karena memiliki elektron yang tidak berpasangan dan mencari pasangan elektron dalam makromolekul biologi. Protein lipida dan DNA dari sel manusia yang sehat merupakan sumber pasangan elektron  yang baik.Kondisi oksidasi dapat menyebabkan kerusakan protein dan DNA, kanker, penuaan, dan penyakit lainnya.Komponen kimia yang berperan sebagai antioksidan adalah senyawa golongan fenolik dan polifenolik.Senyawa-senyawa golongan tersebut banyak terdapat dialam, terutama pada tumbuh-tumbuhan, dan memiliki kemampuan untuk menangkap radikal bebas.Antioksidan yang banyak ditemukan pada bahan pangan, antara lain vitamin E, vitamin C, dan karotenoid. Kata kunci: Antioksidan, Musa Paradisiaca L, Karakteristik.  ABSTRACT  Antioxidants are substances that can slow down or oxidation process. This substance can significantly slow or overcome oxidation of oxidizable substances in low concentrations. Antioxidants also suit their forms containing reactive oxygen-free  fuel cells when they are associated with disease, these free radicals can be derived from body metabolism and other external factors Free radicals are unstable species because they have unpaired electrons and look for electron pairs in biological macromolecules. Lipid proteins and DNA from healthy human cells are good sources of electron pairs. Oxidation conditions can cause damage to proteins and DNA, cancer, aging, and other diseases. Chemical components that act as antioxidants are phenolic and polyphenolic group compounds. These compounds are widely found in the garden, especially in plants, and have the ability to fight free radicals. Antioxidants are found in many foods, including vitamin E, vitamin C, and carotenoids.
