Rusop","doi":"10.1109/SCORED.2011.6148695","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/SCORED.2011.6148695","url":null,"abstract":"The performance of nanocomposited poly [2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy-p-phenylene-vinylene] (MEH-PPV) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin film for hybrid solar cells application has been investigated. The nanocomposited MEH-PPV:TiO2 thin film has been prepared on glass substrate using spin-coating deposition method at different composition (wt %) of TiO2 nanoparticle from 5 to 15 wt% at room temperature. The electrical conductivities of nanocomposited thin films were measured by solar simulator for both in dark and under AM 1.5 100 mW/cm2 white light illumination while a characterization of optical properties has been measured by using UV-Vis spectrophotometer to evaluate the absorbance as well as transmittance spectra of thin films. By comparing the nanocomposited MEH-PPV:TiO2 thin films to pure MEH-PPV, it was found there are changes in their properties either electrical photoconductivity or absorbance spectra. Purely MEH-PPV shows the highest photoconductivity 0.00441 S.m−1 compared to nanocomposited MEH-PPV:TiO2 thin film. While pushing the car to the limit sometimes the less experienced drivers tip it over the safe speed line and rolling of the car takes place. It leads to a number of accidents and thus in order to reduce the rolling effect we have come up with the innovation of Roll Sensing Control Unit(RSCU). The RSCU comprises of a piezoelectric material which will be incorporated in the suspension system of an off road vehicle. The RSCU which will be connected to the electronic control module will help in preventing the lateral roll and thus improve the handling of the vehicle by controlling its speed and hence provides a safer ride to the user. Genetic algorithms (GAs) are well suited for CR optimization problems to improve spectrum utilization by manipulating its unused portions and offer a solution to the apparent spectrum underutilization problem. In this paper, we present binary genetic algorithm (BGA) and continuous genetic algorithm (CGA)-based soft decision fusion (SDF) scheme for cooperative spectrum optimization in cognitive radio network (CRN). Then BGA-based optimization engine is implemented at the fusion center (FC) of a linear SDF scheme to optimize the linear coefficient vector with other conventional methods. The comparison between BGA and CGA shows that BGA performs better than CGA. Then the results and analysis confirm that BGA is efficient and stable and it outperforms conventional natural deflection coefficient- (NDC), modified deflection coefficient- (MDC-), maximal ratio combining- (MRC-) and equal gain combining- (EGC-) based SDF schemes as well as the OR-rule based hard decision fusion (HDF) scheme. As known, long cable caused an over voltage problem at motor terminal and could be double from the pulse output voltage at inverter terminal. This caused instability of the speed performances. PI speed controller is implemented to drive a PMSM with different cables length to investigated the speed performances, load disturbances and parameter variations of the system. Hysteresis current controller is used for inner loop current control and PI controller for outer loop speed control. A point-to-point trajectory is used in the experimental works to evaluate the performance of the DSMC which is design in two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) control structure. The design consists of DSMC and a feed forward controller. The control law is derived from the reaching law concept and its parameters are determined methodically based on the identified model. Experimental results reveal that the DMSC with 2-DOF control structure is highly robust and capable to deal with the uncertainties and disturbances occur during the position tracking control for different point of trajectories. In this paper, intelligent optimization method replace to old technique in kanban system to generate a structure that described the relationship between the operational factors and the number of kanbans with more accurately. The conductivity under illumination of the nanocomposited MEH-PPV:CNTs:TiO<inf>2</inf> thin film was investigated with the thickness increased. The conductivity showed decrement in value from 6.7 × 10<sup>−6</sup> to 0.6 × 10<sup>−6</sup> S/m as the thickness increased. Mean while, the UV-vis spectra films at room temperature (300 K) showed a transmittance peak at 500 – 510 nm. In this paper, a protection and restoration mechanism has been proposed, focusing on the development of the protection and restoration module that could be integrated with the Optical Network Unit/ Terminal (ONU/T) without any modification to the communication signals. This solution will be used together with the developed Access Control System (ACS) modules that ensemble a complete distribution side protection and restoration solution. The protection scheme is enhanced with the sharing of neighbouring protection link should the main protection link failed.
