Among different architecture used for envelope modulator, hybrid switching envelope modulator is attracted the attention. Class AB power amplifier which is the main block of hybrid switching envelope modulator should have wide bandwidth and low output impedance in a wideband of frequency to compensate high switching noise ripples. In this paper a wideband supply modulator with sufficient low output impedance is designed in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The bandwidth of the modulator is around 437 MHz which is much larger than previously reported in literature. Because oscillations in input signal and external disturbances, weights vector of fuzzy system may have unwanted changes and even it can be drifted to very large amounts. This event can eventuate chattering phenomenon in controlled signal and if there are un-modeled dynamics, it will even result instability in output of system. To eliminate of undesirable increases of weight vector while the adaptation law is being proceed, a parallel fuzzy system is used in addition of main fuzzy system. This fuzzy system controlled the speed and variation rate of main fuzzy system. In this technique, weights vector of main fuzzy system will be forced to follow the consequent weights vector of the parallel fuzzy system. In this study we have introduced a novel framework to create high resolution tagged CMR images based on a modified reconstruction chain in MR systems. However, since it is not a fast algorithm it cannot be employed in most real-time and/or large scale applications. This paper proposes a novel algorithm to speed up the Curvelet transform by both optimizing it for repetitive Curvelet usage and by massive parallelization. In this parallel algorithm we have reconfigured the structure of the Curvelet algorithm in a parallel format suitable for implementation on the GP-GPU. Linear Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) triangular basis functions are applied in MPIE formulation. Current distributions on coaxial probe and conformal radiating elements are computed by using spatial domain Dyadic Green's Function (DGF) and its asymptotic approximation. A prototype of such an antenna is fabricated and tested. The effect of the parasitic element on the input impedance and radiation patterns of the antenna is investigated. It is shown that the antenna characteristics are improved significantly with the presence of the conducting parasitic element. The study was performed for a remote area near Esfarjan, a village located in Shahreza, Iran. In the main scenario, the current energy policy is examined, while the sensitivity analysis scenario applies the near future condition that is gradually taking place by reducing the energy subsidies. Simulations have been done on six different system configurations for the both scenarios considering the two mentioned policies for electricity price, fuel price and environmental issues. Results show that in sensitivity scenario, in contrast with the main scenario, the renewable-grid configuration is more economical than the grid-only dependent system, which in turn will result in more interest in investing on renewable resources. Due to the high dimensionality of microarray data sets, choosing reliable feature selection and classification algorithms with a high degree of accuracy and a low complexity is a crucial task in bioinformatics. Toward this goal, this paper aims to maximize the cancer classification accuracy using two reliable ensemble-based classifiers namely the ensemble of naive bayes and the ensemble of k-nearest neighbor. Simulation results show that our classifiers have considerably better accuracy than some conventional classification techniques such as the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and artificial neural networks in the field of multicategory microarray cancer classification based on fourteen cancer data set. However, the run time of the introduced ensemble-based classifiers is longer when the schemes use whole features. To reduce the time complexity while preserving the same classification accuracy as before, we use the recursive feature elimination based on the multiple support vector machine classifier to select more informative genes before applying the ensemble-based classifiers. Numerical evaluations show at least 30% improvement in the classification accuracy of our schemes when compared to the SVM-one versus one rule. Although in OFDM, parallel transmission and cyclic prefix addition improve the communication efficiency, there is still performance degradation due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) in dispersive channels. Simulation results indicate that BP multilayer perceptron and SOM neural equalizers enhance the bit error rate performance of ACO-OFDM systems in diffused channels for high signal to noise ratio. The design is conceptually dimensioned for available technology in 2015-2020 with the estimated size of a pizza box, consuming less than 3 kWs of power, delivering 800 Teraflops/sec (single precision multiply operation) and 30 TBs of memory. To the best of our knowledge, this will be the smallest and lowest power real-time brain simulation engine if manufactured. The silicon and computational efficiencies come from use of 3D memory stacking, innovation in algorithm and architectural customization. Lip detection is used in many applications such as face detection, lip reading, and speech recognition. Our algorithm selects proper color space and saturation component for better separation of skin pixels from lip pixels. We consider the lower half part of image. We propose a modified Lip-Map algorithm to find lip area. Then, we apply wavelet transform to reduce the effect of noise. Next, the location of lips is obtained by considering the variance of different segments of lip area. We extract lip pixels from skin pixels by Top-Hat transform and region growing algorithm. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we use four databases named as CVL, IMM, GTAV, and CID, in which the size of face image and the rotation of face are variable.
