The best economically optimal model is selected in each case based on the net present cost (NPC) and the cost of energy (COE) criteria. Mutual effects of the inflation rate uncertainty, project lifetime span and a comparative model to study the use of combined heat and power (CHP) technology on the objective function have been modelled. An economic index related to environmental issues and one related to the thermal load supply have been defined and analysed. Control allocator system computes the required commands that should be applied to the optimum distributed thrusters on the outer surface of the satellite so that a certain set of torques would be generated using this actuators. The number of actuators is greater than the number of torque necessary to be compensated, and the controlling ranges of the actuators are constrained to the certain pre-specified linear active domains. Control allocation problem is formulated as an optimization problem so that all of the available degrees of freedom can be utilized. When sufficient control power exists, secondary performance objectives could be achieved. The proposed methodology enables reconfiguration control in the presence of actuator failures, while the controller keeps being unchanged. The differential evolution optimization method is used to allocate control commends. The performance and accuracy of the proposed method have been verified using pseudo-inverse and linear programming methods. Two techniques are implemented in a two-stage ring ILFD to provide wide locking range and low power consumption at the same time. To widen the bandwidth, a common-gate tail configuration for injecting the signal is employed. Furthermore, the common-source node sharing topology is used to increase the operating frequency of the ILFD. This ILFD is designed in a 90 nm CMOS technology. Simulation results show that the proposed ILFD can provide the locking range of 91% for divide-by-4 and 40% for divide-by-8 at the incident power of -5 dBm and -10 dBm, respectively. In the preparation phase, the sender shares a GHZ state among users. After she ensures about the security of the channel, she generates an auxiliary GHZ state and keeps it. Then she encodes three-bit information on the GHZ states, by applying the appropriate gates on her qubits. In the decoding phase, the three parties measure their qubits. The receivers achieve no information on the encoded message individually and just when they know the others' measurement results have access to the secret message. The security of the preparation phase against various attacks is investigated. Since no qubits carrying the message are transmitted, the protocol is completely secure, if the perfect quantum channel is used. It is supposed that target has an unknown constant acceleration with random starting time. With considering process noise and measurement noise for the system, both guidance laws TPN and PPN are simulated by applying Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF). We consider flight control system dynamics in the guidance system and model them as a single-lag and then both guidance laws are simulated by applying UKF. At the end, obtained results from applying UKF are compared to the well known Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). In multi-homing mode, both primary and secondary paths are used for sending main packets. Congestion on each route can be avoided or can be controlled, based on an Active Queue Management (AQM) method. Also, routers compute probability of congestion for the sources on the paths and then notify them. Then, the sources can adjust their sending rates on each path based on a FSM (Finite State Machine) effectively and if necessary can switch to the alternate path to prevent congestion. Simulations have been conducted with Opnet. Toward this goal, we present an energy-efficient protocol for the physical layer of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard that deploys the green modulation and Raptor coding in a realistic channel model inspired by the Gilbert-Elliott channel. To save the energy more efficiently and motivated by the fact that data processing in WSNs consumes much less power than the data transmission, we propose an efficient LZW-based compression scheme namely the Sifted Dictionary-based LZW (SD-LZW) using the probability of occurrence of all strings appeared in output data stream. The proposed data compression scheme is capable of adjusting to any type of data input and of returning output using the best possible compression ratio. It is shown numerically that the SD-LZW outperforms two specifically designed compression algorithms for WSNs in various channel realizations, in particular, when the sensor node makes sequential position changes. Compared to encoders, the application of such position sensors in precision control systems are restricted because of their lower accuracy. In this research, a novel scheme of a brushless synchro is introduced. In this scheme, the secondary windings are mounted on the stator and the stator magnetic flux passes a certain path in the rotor and induces voltage in the secondary windings. The operation principle is clearly described in the paper and by using 2D finite element method the novel synchro is initially designed and analyzed. The stator winding's turns is calculated by a method based on desired harmonic elimination to have a sinusoidal magneto motive force. A prototype has been fabricated and tested. In design of predictive controllers, the right choice of control parameters is very important, since best output results are achieved with appropriate choice of these parameters. In this paper, a new method to obtain the parameters of the model predictive controller is presented based on Imperialist Competitive Algorithm, Thus, at first, three unknown parameters, namely the prediction horizon and control horizon and the sampling time, are entered in Imperialist Competitive Algorithm as an array of countries. After these values have been calculated offline, the controller will begin its work with these starting values. In this paper, this type of controller is implemented on a four-tank CSTR system and its nonlinear responses are plotted. One of the key questions is how to make full use of the limited energy to increase the lifetime of the network, because energy is an extremely crucial resource for battery-powered WSNs, thus preparing energy-efficient protocol design a key challenging problem. In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm based on approach for energy-aware routing in wireless sensor networks, we can reduce energy consumption and increase the network lifetime in wireless sensor networks. This algorithm has used from fuzzy neural network for clustering and section of cluster head nodes among other nodes.
