Particular attention is paid to the study of the web platform Moodle, which was used to develop an educational resource for learning the graphic editor Adobe Photoshop. The advantages and disadvantages of this platform are established. Based on the analyzed web platform, documentation of the educational web resource was provided, as well as steps to develop the web resource using the Moodle web platform. With the help of the goal tree, the main tasks in creating an educational resource are identified. Information and functional models of the educational web resource are built, which will help to determine the stages of its development and filling with educational materials. In addition, it presents achievement stories of Ukrainian organizations in corporate implementation of “International Cooperation Projects” tender proposals and other aspects of the cultural, creative, and audiovisual sectors of the Programme. The information sources used in the study were data from the National Bureau of the EU programme “Creative Europe” in Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Ukrainian normative legal and legislative acts in force, and information from news portals, etc. The official data of the “Creative Europe” programme in Ukraine for 2016-2020 years have been processed and summarized with formed conclusions, and the prospects of the new programme for the 2021–2027 period outlined. Immediately after the reports of the spread of the infection appeared, the archival institutions had to orient themselves quickly and develop a strategy for further action, without violating the adopted laws and acting within the orders issued by the central government. Given the recent increase in interest in information from archival documents among researchers, scholars and parties involved, an important task for archivists was to arrange access to archival documents under quarantine restrictions. Therefore, it is important to analyze the specific steps taken by the management and staff of archives, as well as research institutions subordinated to the State Archival Service of Ukraine to ensure researchers’ access to archival documents without harm to their health and life. The present paper demonstrated the network of archive institutions of Ukraine and information about their work on providing users with access to the documents of National Archival Fund under conditions of restricted operation of reading rooms. It also analyzed the content of the orders adopted by the State Archival Service of Ukraine on counteracting the spread of coronavirus disease on the territory of archival institutions of Ukraine. Key areas were identified in the provision of access to archival documents on condition of complete shutdown of reading rooms. {"title":"Cultural and Educational Activities of Social Memory Institutions on the Internet in Modern Conditions","authors":"Zhanna Paskal","doi":"10.18372/53291","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18372/53291","url":null,"abstract":"The article, based on the analyzed information from official sources, examines the cultural and educational activities of museums, archives, and libraries of Ukraine during the application of quarantine measures associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Attention is focused on informational, educational, scientific activities implemented by institutions of social memory through official websites, social networks, online communication software. It was found that the work of the Khanenko Museum and the Museum of Arts selected for analysis has largely moved to the Internet, but was characterized by activity, novelty, and significant informational content. The museums developed interactive master classes for children, various educational and informative presentations, online exhibitions, and lectures. At the same time, the activities of the investigated archival institutions (H. Pshenychnyi Central State CinePhotoPhono Archives of Ukraine and State Archives of Mykolaiv region), with the onset of quarantine restrictions focused primarily on the rapid expansion of access to archival materials by increasing their digitization and placement on official websites. The degree of adaptability of libraries (Yaroslav the Wise National Library of Ukraine and V. Korolenko Kharkiv State archival institutions Scientific Library) to the new conditions was also considered and it was found that the latter organized the work on providing users with the necessary materials well enough. During the study, methods of comparison, synthesis and analysis, retrospective and statistical were used. Digital communication tools of archives for popularization of national cultural heritage are characterized. It was found that electronic information resources of archives in the form of digitized documents are currently the most effective form of attracting to scientific circulation huge arrays of documents contained in the state archives of Ukraine; they provide the general public with socially significant retrospective documentary information and are an important tool for quality remote user service. Each state archive of Ukraine has a website, which is an integral part of its information activities and multifaceted interaction with society and the state. A content analysis of the Ukrainian state archives' websites as an important tool for presenting electronic information resources of the National Archive Fund to the users of archival information services was carried out; its results are highlighted. Currently, attention is paid to promotion of “microhistory”, regional content of the archive funds, personification of history, which is a powerful educational tool that facilitates formation of the strong ties between the archive institutions and the local society. In the context of Ukraine’s growing independence amid the Russian hybrid aggression, it is utmost important to disclose and popularize the documented evidence of the prominent figures contributing to the Ukrainian statehood, the real gems in the Ukrainian science, education and culture who have inspired the citizens with their own examples of life hardships and creative achievements. This article is focused on popularizing the personal documents kept on file in the archives in the oblasts of Ukraine. It has been established that to raise awareness regarding the personal documents, the regional state archive institutions use both the traditional and the modern tool and methods, among which online exhibitions and inter-institutional projects rank first. The author of this article, having summarized the work experience of the Ukrainian state regional archive institutions in popularization of the personal documents of national and regional significance, concludes about relevance and efficiency of the project and exhibition activity for the abovementioned purpose.
