The article presents the results of a study whose aim was to assess the prevalence of maladaptive eating behavior (MEB) among students of a sports university. Materials and methods: a survey was conducted among 768 students of the Volga region GUFKSiT using the "Eating Behavior Assessment Scale" (EBAS). \u0000Results. It has been established that only 41.11.78% of students of a sports university have no signs of MEB. The presence of deviations according to the subscales of the EBAS was revealed in 72.94.54% of wrestlers, 55.03.2% of sports games athletes, 57.84.59% of complex coordination sports athletes and 55.84, 23% athletes of cyclic sports and 59.43.71% of non-athletes. \u0000Conclusions. The use of EBAS made it possible to identify not only the clinical signs of MEB in students of a sports university, but also the psychological characteristics and behavioral stereotypes characteristic of people with MEB. Complex coordination sports athletes and wrestlers - a group of special risk for the development of MEB. Among athletes of team sports, as well as boys and girls of non-athletes, clinical symptoms of MEB are less common, but psychological characteristics and behavioral stereotypes typical of people with MEB are more often detected, which can be considered as a high predisposition to the development of MEB. EBAS can be used as a screening method for determining MEB at the prenosological stage, to identify groups of students at particular risk and develop targeted preventive measures, taking into account gender characteristics and the specifics of students' sports activities.

The aim of the study is summarizing federal and foreign publications on the UK. A descriptive review of the sources of scientific information contained in Russian and international search systems (eLIBRARY, RSCI, Cyber Leninka, Google Scholar, PubMed) from 2000 till 2021 was carried out. The review includes original articles on quantitative observational studies and reviews on the problem under study. More than 100 sources have been analyzed, the work highlights information from 35 publications that most fully reflect the search problem. It has been established that working conditions in the production of dairy products are characterized by a multifactorial negative impact on workers, the main adverse factors are production noise, low or high air temperature, insufficient lighting, air pollution of the working area with harmful chemicals and dust, and physical overload. The impact of harmful working conditions leads to an overstrain of the functional systems of the body of workers, which is manifested in a decrease in working capacity in the dynamics of the work shift and health disorders. During periodic medical examinations, workers are diagnosed with diseases of the circulatory system, respiratory organs, nervous, musculoskeletal systems and connective tissue, diseases of the ear and mastoid process, and pathologies of the reproductive system. The results of the review indicate the need for further comprehensive studies of quantitative indicators of risk factors and patterns of their impact on the health of workers, the results of which can form the basis for the development of reasonable prevention measures.

Resting T cells primarily use the oxidation of higher fatty acids and oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria for their energy needs, whereas activated T cells switch to aerobic glycolysis and glutaminolysis, using glucose and glutamine as substrates, respectively. The aim: to determine the metabolic activity and energy supply of peripheral blood lymphocytes in practically healthy northerners by measuring the intracellular content of HIF-1, SIRT3 and ATP. Methods: 39 volunteers, residents of the Arkhangelsk region (23 women and 16 men, 23-62 years old), were examined. We determined the total number of peripheral blood lymphocytes with CD-typing of lymphocytes (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD71+) by indirect immunoperoxidase reactions, the content of HIF-1 and SIRT3 in the lymphocyte lysate using enzyme immunoassay, the concentration of ATP using the luciferin-luciferase reaction. Statistical analysis was carried out in "Statistica 10.0", cluster analysis was applied using the "K means" method. Mean values (M) and standard deviations (SD) were calculated, the normal distribution was tested by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Lilliefors criterion. Student's t-test was calculated and the differences were considered statistically significant at p 0.05. Results: it was found that in the examined volunteers, the metabolic activity of lymphocytes associated with HIF-1 regulation differs statistically significantly, while in the group with a lower total number of lymphocytes and their phenotypes (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD71+) there is a predominant glycolytic orientation of metabolism and a higher level of cells energy supply. Conclusion: metabolic activity, which can be judged by the HIF-1/SIRT3 ratio, has a significant impact on the differentiation, proliferation, functioning, and fate of T cells.

VO2max was measured using the Oxycon Pro ergospirometric system (Erich Jaeger, Germany). To identify the HRV patterns in individuals with different levels of VO2max, volunteers were divided into two groups: with VO2max up to 4400 ml/min (n=27) and over 4400 ml/min (n=25). The significance of differences between groups was assessed using the MannWhitney U-test. A Spearman correlation test was used to analyze the correlation between the VO2max and HRV. \u0000RESULTS: Athletes with different levels of VO2max showed significant differences in a number of HRV indicators: absolute values of LF and VLF waves, relative value of HF waves, LF/HF and IC indices. Correlation analysis showed a significant negative correlation between the absolute values of VO2max and MxDMn, MxRMn, LF/HF, IC, power of LF and LF%, VLF waves, also a positive correlation between VO2max and HF% was noted. The relative values of the VO2max/kg had a significant negative correlation with MxRMn, TP, LF, VLF, LF/HF, IC and positive with HF%. \u0000CONCLUSION: In cross-country skiers a significant correlation was found between VO2max and HRV parameters. Methods: Multicenter cross-sectional study. In Russia, an online questionnaire was filled out by 13,392 children or their parents from 64 regions. The questionnaire consisted of 5 blocks: questions about the socio-demographic data; physical exercise, play or sedentary behavior in the last 7 days; comparison of the child's PA at the moment with PA during the first wave of COVID-19; comparison of the child's PA at the moment with the PA before the COVID-19 pandemic; compliance with WHO global recommendations on PA and sedentary lifestyle; questions about the socio-demographic background of the parent/guardian. Survey data was collected from online platforms, aggregated and imported for statistical analysis using SPSS 20.0 software. Results: This survey revealed a low percentage of children aged 5-17 who adhere to PA guidelines. Thus, the proportion of children following the recommendations for PA of medium and high intensity for at least 60 minutes a day during the week was only 7.5% (95%CI: 6.3-8.3). An increase in screen time on weekdays during the pandemic was found in 21.9% of the survey participant, on weekends in 20.3%. This study was performed to comprehensively analyse the chemistry pictures exhibited by athletes with high sportive results living in the city of Magadan and to determine the specific features of amounts of chemicals in various subjective substrates. \u0000Materials and methods. The research involved 19-25 year old athletes in the city of Magadan. We used atomic emission and mass spectrometric methods with inductively coupled argon plasma to study twenty-five macro- and micro minerals in subjective hair and whole blood samples to specify most informative substrates for identifying common types of chronic mineral imbalance. \u0000Results and discussion. Examined athletes exhibited higher amounts of Ca, Co, Fe, Se, and Zn in their hair samples and higher median concentrations of blood Na and P; they were also excessive in blood Mn, as compared to the subjects of control group with ordinary mode of physical activity whose blood mineral variables showed higher values of K, Mg, Co, Fe, Se, the deficiency of Co, Cu, Zn, and Fe, and excess of Mg and Se. The authors believe that the differences strongly depend on the athletes diet which, according to our previous studies, mainly consists of vegetables and proteins including seafood, as opposed to the carbohydrate food type characteristic of the control group. \u0000Conclusion. The elemental picture of athletes of Magadan is characteristic of residents with typical northern type of deficiency in essential minerals expressed in the hair. Interestingly, hair mineral deficits are more frequent in young men who experience no increased exercise. No excessive toxic elements or heavy metals were found in the studied biological substrates. We believe that, for a long-term assessment of the athletes imbalance which is formed under intense physical activity, hair analysis appears to be more reasonable, in contrast to a quick and fairly informative method blood testing for assessing nutrition or possible intoxication.

Objective: to evaluate the antioxidant status of blood and ejaculate in infertile men in different ethnic groups. Methods. A retrospective analysis was made of the results of a survey of 222 Caucasians and 143 Mongoloids with pathozoospermia from infertile couples. The control groups were parktically healthy men with realized reproductive function (97 - Mongoloids and 104 - Caucasians). The material for biochemical studies was blood plasma and ejaculate. The work used spectrophotometric, fluorometric and statistical methods of research. In the blood and ejaculate of the examined men, the total antioxidant activity was determined as an indicator characterizing the total activity of lipid peroxidation inhibitors and determining its buffer capacity, the concentration of fat-soluble vitamins retinol and -tocopherol, and the level of superoxide dismutase. Results. In the blood of infertile Caucasian men, compared with fertile donors, a decrease in the concentration of retinol by 27% (p0.0001) and -tocopherol by 25% (p0.0001), as well as the activity of superoxide dismutase by 5% (p= 0.0002). In the ejaculate of male Caucasians with infertility, a decrease in the concentration of -tocopherol by 17% (p=0.0006) and an increase in total antioxidant activity by 21% (p=0.0004) were found. The antioxidant defense system in Mongoloid men is characterized by an increase in retinol concentration by 24% (p=0.0002) and total antioxidant activity by 13% (p=0.026), against the background of a decrease in superoxide dismutase activity by 8% (p0.0001).The results of the study of the antioxidant defense system in the ejaculate of Mongoloid men with infertility showed a decrease in the concentration of -tocopherol by 15% (p=0.03) and an increase in the level of total antioxidant activity by 17% (p=0.04). Conclusions. When one or more components of the antioxidant system are deficient, cells lose their ability to protect against the action of reactive oxygen species, which invariably leads to damage to tissues, organs, and organ systems. Assessment of the state of the antioxidant status in men of different ethnic groups has an important prognostic value in the study of reproductive health, contributes to the knowledge of the pathogenetic processes of the disease for personalized diagnosis, prevention and correction.

The distribution of concentrations in the sample for Al, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Si, Ti, Zn obeys a lognormal law, therefore the geometric mean or median is preferable as an indicator reflecting the average value. The distribution of Ca and P concentrations obeys the normal law. The content of Si and Ti is lower in the saliva of young men compared to women; the opposite pattern is observed for Mn. The mean Ag content in saliva is higher in the group of smokers compared to non-smokers. An increase in the number of teeth affected by caries correlates with increased concentrations of Cu, Al and Zn in saliva.
