Traditionally, the clinical encounter has been studied from an externalist perspective, extrinsic to the event itself, focusing on quantifiable outcomes. In his early texts, Bakhtin develops a philosophy of the act that remarkably suits the complexity of the clinical encounter. By combining elements of epistemology, gnoseology, axiology, and ontology in his architecture of a world constructed intersubjectively, Bakhtin provides us with an almost perfect model for studying the clinical encounter. First, it aims to contribute to a more solid understanding of the theory of value derived from the thought of the Genevan linguist Ferdinand de Saussure. To do so, it presents the three different types of value that, according to Bouquet (2004), are included in the Saussurean theory: the value relative to the internal element, the value relative to the systemic element, and, finally, the value relative to the discursive element. Second, this text tries to make the theory of social evaluation in the word known, at least in part, as proposed by the Russian thinker Valentin N. Vološinov. Revista de Estudos do Discurso [Bakhtiniana. Journal of Discourse Studies]. For this reason, on constantly striving to achieve the required level of excellence, we must always be aware of the changing criteria for permanence in the collection. Besides publishing issues, SciELO network also entails other possibilities for popularizing scientific production by the good practice of divulgating scientific production through the BlogSciElo in Perspective / Humanities. This year, Bakhtiniana was invited, for the second time since its foundation, to participate in a week to publicize our journal. This activity took place last May 2023. Em primeiro lugar, ele busca contribuir para um entendimento mais sólido a respeito da teoria do valor oriunda do pensamento do linguista genebrino Ferdinand de Saussure. Para isso, apresenta os três diferentes tipos de valor que, segundo Bouquet (2004), estão abarcados na teoria saussuriana: o valor relativo ao elemento interno, o valor relativo ao elemento sistêmico e, por fim, o valor relativo ao elemento discursivo. Em segundo lugar, este texto intenta dar a conhecer, ao menos em parte, a teoria da avaliação social na palavra, tal como proposta pelo pensador russo Valentin N. Volóchinov. Pesquisadores brasileiros e estrangeiros têm mostrado convergências entre o pensamento do filósofo alemão Ernst Cassirer e dos pensadores russos supracitados. Cassirer problematiza o que conferiria unidade à cultura - e esse é um problema do qual também se ocupam Bakhtin, Volóchinov e Medviédev. Assim, este artigo analisa como essa questão (“o que confere unidade à cultura?”) foi respondida, buscando as convergências entre os pensamentos. Percorremos alguns escritos de Cassirer para mostrarmos como o filósofo analisou a cultura a partir de uma unidade constituída pela simbolização. Em seguida, vemos como essa questão foi abordada por Medviédev e Volóchinov. O percurso metodológico consiste em análise dialógica interligada aos conceitos de cronotopo, ideologia, enunciado, dialogismo e axiologias sociais. Os resultados demonstram que as ideologias institucionalizadas tendem a anular as cotidianas, porém encontram enfrentamento na contrapalavra manifestada no ladrão de marabaixo. A entonação refrange a dor, o lamento, a indignação, a raiva, o maldizer e expressa juízos de valores de reprovação, de oposição. Zhumeken Nazhimedenov é um dos autores do Hino da República do Cazaquistão, adotado em 2006. O objeto da pesquisa foi a coletânea de poemas e prosa de Zh. Nazhimedenov, publicados em anos diferentes, e críticas literárias escritas sobre ele por críticos e escritores conhecidos da época. O objetivo do artigo é analisar e distinguir características temáticas e ideológicas das questões de gênero literário e análise estilística da poesia e da prosa de Nazhimedenov. No estudo, foram utilizados os métodos de análise temática e estilística. As obras literárias do poeta distinguem-se pela diversidade de cenas contemporâneas e pelos vestígios da procura da descoberta do mundo humano, da possibilidade de retratar a natureza. Enfim, cada trabalho de Zh. Nazhimedenov resume as realidades da vida em seu tempo, toca os corações e transmite a verdade. The methodology consists of a dialogic analysis interconnected to the concepts of chronotope, ideology, utterance, dialogism, and social axiologies. Results reveal that institutionalized ideologies tend to nullify the one in everyday life. However, those results are confronted in some way with the counter word that is manifested by the ladrão de marabaixo chants. Intonation refracts pain, lamentation, indignation, anger, and slander, in addition to expressing value judgments of disapproval and opposition. Re-enunciation of the everyday-life word allows us to take a glimpse at segregation, denunciation, powerlessness, and the silencing of culture and identity. Grounded in Dialogic Discourse Analysis, we built a corpus with five oral presentation summaries extracted from the conference’s book of abstracts. We found that internationalization was predominantly associated with learning English but less strongly regarded as an institutional imperative. Our findings were thus indicative of dialogic relationships amongst academic, theoretical, official and advertising discourses.
