Feedthrough logic can improve the performance by partial evaluation in its computational block before getting a valid input. The FTL is more suited for those circuits which consist of a critical path of large cascaded inverting gates. FTL based circuit can perform better in both high fan out and high frequency operations due to both lesser delay and dynamic power consumption at the cost of area. A 2 bit conventional multiplier circuit with proposed model is simulated. The proposed circuit achieves a reduction in the average power and delay. The comparison analysis has been simulated by 180 nm CMOS technology. The proposed modified FTL reduces total power delay product up to 22.85% in NAND gates and 11.63% in NOR gates. The results of 2 bit multiplier simulation also confirms that the proposed model can perform with better as compared with existing models of FTL with less transistor count.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133978510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper introduces the ensemble approach using FS and without using FS tested on a standard medical dataset in order to compare the accuracy and time of both. This system uses best first search FS algorithm to reduce the noise in the dataset. The ensemble technique is a combination of two or more classifiers i.e. meta classifiers and classifiers. Bagging, Boosting and Adaboost are meta classifiers. In the proposed work Bagging and Adaboost ensembles are used, but the main focus is on Bagging Ensembles as it has been proven best compared to Adaboost and Boosting ensembles [1]. This paper concludes that better results can be achieved by applying FS on ensembles.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131532088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So they need high-performance processors. To fulfill this demand multiprocessor architectures are coming into existence where parallel program can be execute with minimizing total execution time or makespan. Such multiprocessor architectures require efficient algorithms to schedule the parallel tasks that can minimize the makespan, as well as Power consumption. In this paper, we address the problem of scheduling Directed Acyclic Precedence Graph (DAPG) on multiprocessor architecture with the objective of minimizing the Energy related to IPC (E_IPC). We propose a new scheduling heuristic called as Energy Saving Dynamic Level Scheduling (ESDLS) which accounts for E_IPC consumption. This algorithm is based on well-known compile time Dynamic Level Scheduling (DLS) algorithm that accounts for IPC overhead while mapping DAPG on to homogeneous multiprocessor architecture.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130794154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The WSNs provide diverse opportunities in a wide variety of applications from environmental monitoring, healthcare to agriculture and industry. In several WSN scenarios, battery powered nodes should operate for years, that necessitate the requirement for advanced power management of the radio. Among all the node functions such as sensing, actuation and computations, the wireless communication energy is still a pre-dominant component. Therefore, the energy dedicated to communication of wireless sensor node should be preserved. Different techniques have been proposed targeting low power communication and short interrupt latency. This work aims at designing 433 MHz compatible matching network and low power Wake-Up Receiver (WUR) for wireless sensor node as a future work. WUR are the hardware technologies enabling a promising solution for WSN. This is achieved through Wake-Up Interrupt (WUp-Int) technique. As a part of this work the matching network is modeled and simulated using Advanced Design System (ADS). It operates in 433 MHz ISM band and the sensitivity achieved is -32 dBm while receiving 128Kb/s OOK modulated wake-up signal.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130989671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the presence scenario it is very biter to have mobile devices as an interface between user and server, to access and store data for one's need. Mobile technology in cloud computing is helps users to operate on the data for any of the application for their organization in mobility. In these aspects mobile cloud computing is our current topic of interest as it is very necessary to protect the data in storage and access since the transportation of the data is through mostly by public network. In this project the mobile cloud environment is used for storing and assessing data and thus it is needed to have an efficient cloud network that is a framework for communication and data authentication. For communication security, it is vital to design a security framework for mobile cloud environment that ensures better communication of data in an encrypted way both in the mobile devices and in the storage devices. We are proposing a new security framework for communication of data using the concept of public key encryption scheme by key generation and management that helps the data is much secured and can be used in cloud application.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127432123","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here a color pallet is generated from source(color) from which color traits need to be taken using vector quantization using Thepade's transform error vector rotation algorithms in the first stage., Then colors are, transferred to a target (grayscale) image using generated color pallet in the second stage. As there are no objective criteria for qualitative analysis of performance of the colorization quality of proposed TTEVR, here the grayscale version of original color image is recolored using proposed technique and the mean squared error between original color image and recolored image is used as quality comparison criteria. Using 15 different images for five different color pallet sizes in RGB and YCbCr color spaces experimentation is done. The proposed technique performs better in RGB color space. The obtained results show that the proposed technique using TTEVR with Haar for color pallet size 512 in RGB color space gives best performance.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124565009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From previous studies, it has been found that Random Waypoint Mobility Model (RWP) is widely used to simulate performance of the MANETs. This mobility model resembles the mobility of people using mobile phones in a given area. Connectivity is an important issue in a MANET following RWP model and hence researchers are trying out different ways to enhance connectivity. So, this model is considered and the variation of connectivity for different varying parameters is studied. The RWP model is simulated in MATLAB, followed by the study of the node connectivity by changing different parameters like number of user nodes, simulation time and simulation area. Further, it is shown that connectivity is enhanced in each case after introducing agent nodes. This study gives an estimate of number of nodes required for achieving desired connectivity of the network.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117013794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These networks consist of several nodes that can communicate with each other without any fixed infrastructure. The nodes in these networks are highly dynamic and they are also battery powered. Hence energy efficiency is one of the important factor that has to be considered in MANETs. In this paper, we have designed an energy efficient multipath routing protocol using adjustable sleeping window (EMRAS) by implementing two algorithms - power and delay aware multipath routing protocol (PDMRP) and slow start exponential and liner algorithm (STELA) using cross layer design. STELA algorithm helps to improve the energy efficiency of the network by adjusting the sleeping window when there are no network activities. When there is any network activity, PDMRP helps to select the path which is energy efficient and also shortest. Simulation results show that EMRAS protocol has improved the overall residual energy and reduced the total energy consumption without degrading the QoS parameters.","PeriodicalId":378174,"journal":{"name":"2015 Global Conference on Communication Technologies (GCCT)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117291731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
