Transmission of the data involves various risks and the proposed model will address the issues of the secure data transmission on cloud platforms. For secure data transmission over internet, a security layer has been implemented between the server end and the cloud user. A new scheme includes Key exchange has been implemented to provide the intended security in the cloud and to mitigate those security risks related to the cloud users. Existing authentication algorithms have been improved for the designing of the proposed model. It makes the cloud server nodes and the users will work in secure cloud platform. The proposed scheme has provided better security and improved the performance than any other existing key management technique. The non predictive key generation scheme is used for the key management. The results of the model show how effectively and efficiently the proposed model will works in terms of the elapsed time.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117180214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental deaths which needs to be given attention. The objective is to address the question-how can we engineer a system that saves the life of a drowning person? The devised system has the capability to automatically detect drowning by making use of three sensors, namely, a non-invasive oxygen saturation level sensor, respiration monitoring sensor and water sensor that are used for detecting parameters like blood oxygen saturation levels, respiratory movements and submersion of a person's body underwater respectively and a controller for monitoring, processing and controlling purposes. If any two of the above mentioned parameters detect drowning, the system detects it as a case of drowning. Results obtained by performing tests on individual sensors and entire system illustrate the effectiveness of the approach. Thus the approach is a viable solution to devise an innovative, portable, low cost and wearable system.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123536226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays there is a stiff competition between certification bodies, and it seems necessary to view certification not only as cost-adding, but also as value-adding. The only way to achieve that is to use certification experts' experience. Since field certification is limited in time, it is desirable to determine audit criteria adequately and to focus experts' efforts on the most important and problematic production areas. This is also of particular interest for producer organizations since most of competitors are certified, but customer satisfaction levels and risk levels vary from organization to organization.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116219629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the state estimation problem, Kalman filter is the generally used technique when the system is linear. Various derivatives of Kalman filter are proposed earlier for non-linear systems, i.e. Extended Kalman Filter and Unscented Kalman Filter. But, there is a need of tuning in these estimation techniques and therefore the tuning of process and measurement noise covariance matrices is required. Earlier, the different optimization techniques are used for the tuning of Extended Kalman Filter like Genetic Algorithm, Human Opinion Dynamics based Optimization and Particle Swarm Optimization. In this paper, Hybrid HOD-GSA has been proposed for the tuning of Extended Kalman Filter and also to solve the trapping problem of GSA. Then, the results taken from Hybrid HOD-GSA are compared with the results taken from Human Opinion Dynamics and Particle Swarm Optimization in terms of accuracy, error rate, standard deviation and convergence.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128410331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Distinctive underwater characteristics leads to many challenges such as-high propagation delay, data losses, nodes mobility, localization, nodes deployment while designing any reliable and efficient routing protocol. In this paper, an extension of CDBR (Forwarding nodes Constraint based Depth Based Routing) protocol is proposed named LCDBR (Link state and Forwarding nodes Constraint based Depth Based Routing). In this protocol, packets are sent through the optimal path towards sink because no. of sinks is placed on the surface of water. Also, in multihop transmission forwarding nodes are constrained to only one for energy conservation. Simulations results are conducted through MATLAB which shows that the protocol outperforms CDBR protocol in terms of energy efficiency, packet throughput and end to end delay.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134339848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sensor nodes are battery energetic with limited battery. In order to decrease the consumption of energy, scheduling of different packet type is of significant importance. Scheduling of packets helps in determining which packet should be serviced and manages the queue of packets. In this paper, an enhanced dynamic multilevel protocol (EDMP) is proposed which uses DMP queue. The EDMP protocol works on the concept of routing data packets based on priority. The concept of priority becomes important when emergency information needs to transmitted. This improves the Quality of Service (QoS), maximizing network lifetime and tracking the energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":377611,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125307979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
