Numerical study of the basic concept for short PM dipoles is described. Iterative 3D simulations with a detailed model were used to assess anticipated field distribution and magnetic forces. A scope of critical aspects was investigated to move up to the engineering design including candidate materials, geometry, thermal stability, magnetic interaction, and field tuning. Aggregated results made it possible to optimize the initial concept and get guidance to practical implementation.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"97 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139131591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a model case, the problem of a hypersonic flow of a five-component air mixture around a sphere is considered. Various approaches for an application of machine learning methods, such as linear regression, k-nearest neighbors, support vector machine, regression tree, random forest, gradient boosting, and neural network (multilayer perceptron) are investigated. For the transport coefficients regression modeling the combination of machine learning methods with the finite volume method is constructed. The machine learning regressors are trained on the accurate numerical data given by one-temperature approach of the kinetic theory. The results of trained models are compared with approximate formulae of Blottner-Eucken-Wilke model. The results of different machine learning methods are analyzed in terms of the relationship between the obtained accuracy of calculations and the overall speed of calculations. The overall time of dataset formation and model training is estimated. The design of the constructed multilayer perceptron is discussed. The machine learning methods considered in the article can be used for the engineering problem such as design of high-speed aircraft, as well as for modeling of flows around complex shape bodies.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"112 27","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139133210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While some industries have made significant strides, others still require ongoing research and development efforts. This article delves into the application of feedback control for equipment in the processing industry, using a two-rotor vibration machine equipped with induction motors as a case study. Conventionally, such equipment is manually operated with the help of affordable constructive facilities, which does not align with the principles of Industry 4.0. In response, this paper explores an architecture for an automatic control system capable of handling various technological tasks, including mixing and transporting processed media. This architecture encompasses several components, such as real-time regulator tuning, control of the rotor speed loop, and/or adjustment of the phase shift between the rotors based on machine sensor measurements. A notable advantage of this control system lies in its complete software-based implementation. The article also presents the findings from full-scale experiments, demonstrating the capabilities and effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"22 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139130021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main difficulty that arises with such a recovery is that it is impossible to use conventional techniques such as variants of gradient descent algorithms, since too many variables would arise. In addition, in this article we also do not use algorithms for variants of the branch and boundary method, which in our previous publications were sometimes used for the problem considered in the article; the main argument for not using it is that using it would provide little information about the subtasks generated by this algorithm, in particular, it is difficult to adequately assess the real the values of the resulting boundaries. Therefore, we use the so-called step-by-step filling of the distance matrix. In the approach presented in the paper we consider, that the algorithm of the initial distance formation works in the best way. Therefore, we conditionally believe that the corresponding value of badness cannot be improved. This assumption really makes it possible to improve the value of badness. Thus, in this paper we have obtained practical results of reconstructing distance matrices, which significantly improve the results given in our previous papers.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"117 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139134077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A computer study of the dynamics of a two-rotor VU with a digital implementation of the control algorithm for rotor synchronization is carried out in the MATLAB environment. As a result the permissible sampling interval for calculating discrete control values using a zero-order extrapolator circuit was estimated. Also, using modeling, a comparative analysis of the efficiency of synchronization control in digital and analog implementation of the algorithm was carried out. It is shown that with an increase in the specified operating speed of the rotors, determined by the value of the energy H^∗ specified in the algorithm, the permissible value of the sampling interval decreases significantly. Comparison of the VU dynamics with the same values of the parameters of the synchronization control algorithm shows that the time of synchronization and the transient process in both cases are almost the same.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"120 33","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139133010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, such systems are often called “pendulum-like”. Their dynamics are thus featured by multi-stability and cannot be examined by classical methods that have been developed to test the global stability of a unique equilibrium point. In general, only sufficient conditions for the solution convergence are known that are usually derived for pendulum-like systems of Lurie type, that is, interconnections of stable LTI blocks and periodic nonlinearities, which obey sector or slope restrictions. Most typically, these conditions are written as multi-parametric frequency-domain inequalities, which should be satisfied by the transfer function of the system’s linear part. Remarkably, if the frequency-domain inequalities hold outside some bounded range of frequencies, then the absence of periodic solutions with frequencies in this range is guaranteed, which can be considered as a weaker asymptotical property.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"103 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139133580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In applications based on this technology, the main influence on the subjective assessment of product quality is the speed of interaction between the system and the user and between users of the system. The main purpose of the work series are creation and modification for algorithms to assessing and improving the quality of AR services. This paper describes and justifies an adaptive communication protocol for multi-agent interaction. We consider a general nonlinear dynamic system with introducing feedback control which is based on measurements under almost arbitrary noise. In practice, this control is realized as a superposition of neural networks with the estimation of the result of mutual additional learning based on the system identification method (M.K.Campi and E.Weyer’s LSCR is used). The prototype is built for a system with a distributed server architecture and multiagent behavior of both clients and servers in the system.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"51 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139130942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is proposed to use physical analogies and correlate their action with the dissipative forces of external viscous friction, friction in gimbal joints and internal friction in the pendulum rod, as well as inertial forces and gyroscopic forces to form the control torques in gimbal joints. Six modes of controlled movement of the system are considered, which allow achieving various goals. It is shown that it is possible to completely suppress the motions of a gyroscopic pendulum, switch it to the mode of a spherical or physical pendulum, enter the mode of rotation around a fixed vertical axis, bring it to the mode of regular precession, and also strengthen or weaken the gyroscopic structure of the motion equations. The discussion of these modes of controlled motion is accompanied by the construction of motion equations both within the framework of the original nonlinear model and for simplified linear or weakly nonlinear models. The obtained results are theoretically interesting and may be useful for specific practical applications in the field of gyroscopic technology.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139199761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these algorithms often fall short when applied to problems beyond the geometric TSP. In this paper, we explore the pseudo-geometric TSP version, a generalization of the geometric TSP, and propose an adapted geometric algorithm for solving its specific instances. We leverage the knowledge of error bounds to estimate the reconstruction error of the TSP solution even when using geometric approaches for the pseudogeometric TSP. This allows us to achieve reliable results despite uncertainties or noise in the data. We provide a concise description of our algorithmic adaptation and present the results of computational experiments to demonstrate its effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such systems are considered when solving practical problems related to the measurements processing in the case when it is impossible to do any assumptions about the evolution of unknown input signal or its statistical characteristics that can change over time. We consider a class of discrete time linear stochastic systems with unknown exogenous inputs, where an additional source of a priori uncertainty of the system model is introduced, namely, the unknown parameter, on the elements of which the system model matrices can depend. This formulation of the parameter identification problem under the conditions of unknown inputs and the presence of random noises describes a high degree of uncertainty of a discrete time linear stochastic system. We propose a novel solution to this problem based on the construction of a new instrumental identification criterion. Minimization of this criterion allows for evaluating the unknown system model parameters simultaneously with the estimating of the state vector and unknown exogenous inputs of the system. Numerical experiments confirm the validity and efficiency of the proposed parameter identification method.","PeriodicalId":37674,"journal":{"name":"Cybernetics and Physics","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
