This paper proposes a nonlinear adaptive friction compensation method based on analysis of the position-control system of valve-control asymmetrical hydraulic cylinder and the LuGre friction model. Dual nonlinear observers were constructed to estimate the friction state, which is unmeasurable in the electro-hydraulic servo system, and adaptive laws of friction parameters were built to compensate dynamic friction. Several types of outrigger trusses are applied in a hybrid tall building to enhance the stiffness of structure and to weaken the abrupt change of inner force in strengthened stories. Comparing the effects of small size outrigger trusses and large size outrigger trusses under frequent earthquake, a new concept of outrigger, mixed outrigger, is proposed to ease the conflicts. Then the runout data was processed by adopting the least square method and vector model transformation. The experiment shows that the tested result agrees with the real crankshaft deformation. The classifier for the crankshaft straightening position using LS-SVM was set up. At different neutral point grounding modes of transformer (direct grounding, low resistance grounding, petersen coil grounding and no grounding), the current waveform and zero-sequence current in power cable faults of single-phase-to-ground, double-phase-to-ground, three-phase-to-ground are completely simulated and analysed. The regularities of the distribution of electromagnetic-thermal coupled field in the replacer, temperature changes with time course and expansion size in shaft and bearing inner race had been simulated during the course of induction heating. The FEM simulation results not only proved the existence of the eddy skin effect, but also achieved the design parameters of the replacer. If we count this exposure frequency by person, it will be very time consuming and error-prone. In this paper, we propose an approach and design a system for searching and counting the number of banner ads appearing in sports videos. The searching proceeds by matching feature points from pre-specified sample ads using the color histogram and the SURF (Speeded-Up Robust Features) algorithm. This searching approach can robustly identify objects among scaling and partial occlusion while achieving near real-time performance.
