Here we report that the sensitivity of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) about dissociated species of SF6 substantially increases by functionalizing with Tin oxide (SnO2). SnO2/MWCNTs nanocomposites was prepared by a simple route that included in situ growth of SnO2 on the surface of MWCNTs through hydrothermal method in this work and characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis techniques. The chemical sensors based on SnO2/MWCNTs nanocomposites exhibited good sensitivity in response to decomposition components at room temperature. The work provides an appropriate functionalization methodology to conduct the dissociated SF6 species monitoring.","PeriodicalId":375482,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121191320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scenery in passengers' eyes is just within the highway landscape area that their attention are paid to, so passengers' visual field must be taken as the control area in highway landscape planning. The speed is regarded as the base of landscape planning control scale, and driver's attention focus region is defined in the paper. Then highway landscape planning control area is put forward based on the passengers' dynamic visual behavior characteristics. The driver's attention focus region was calculated and reckoned as the scale reference for highway landscape planning control area through the analysis of driver's visual scale in horizontal and vertical vision at different speed, which integrated highways landscape planning with highway functional characteristics and visual demands of passengers to make highway landscape planning and design more scientific and rational.","PeriodicalId":375482,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114339833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A scheme is proposed in this paper that using an energy absorption panel (EAP) to replaces the filling foam. Firstly, an impact model of collision between the car and a lower leg is built according to Euro NCAP regulations and verified by simulation and test. Secondly, the filling foam is replaced by an EAP and a full factorial experiment is designed. On this base, the influence law of energy absorption for panel material properties and thickness on crash result was obtained. Studies show that: (1) the replacement is a feasible program to obtain better effect of pedestrian protection; (2) the lower yield strength and thinner panel is not necessarily to obtain the better effect, which can be achieved only by reasonable matching between different material strength and panel thickness.","PeriodicalId":375482,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet)","volume":"50 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114348345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, BS applied to toluene and naphthalene-contaminated soils to investigate its effect on the enhancement of the biodegradation rate and removal efficiency. Experimental results indicated that the presence of BS enhanced the biodegradation rates of toluene and naphthalene in soils. The removal efficiency of toluene and naphthalene through biodegradation without applying BS was 15.2% and 20.4%, respectively, but increased to 96.0% and 97.9% with the addition of BS. The addition of BS enhanced the biodegradation rates of toluene and naphthalene in the contaminated soils was possibly resulted from the supplement of nutrients, trace elements, and degradable organic carbon. There was a maximum removal when the soil to BS ratio was at 1:0.5 (w/w).","PeriodicalId":375482,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116315150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Antivortex film-cooling concept is designed to mitigate the effects of the counter-rotating vortex pair, which reduces the effectiveness of circular cross-section film-cooling holes at moderate to high blowing ratios. The 3D computational geometries are modeled with a single 30 deg angled hole on a flat surface. Numerical simulations have been performed at six different coolant-to-mainstream blowing ratios of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0, and used five different turbulence models; k-e, RNG k-e, SSG, SST, zero equation models to obtain detailed film cooling effectiveness. The single cylindrical hole is experimentally investigated in this research to confirm the certainty of numerical results of antivortex holes. Antivortex hole shows significantly improved 2D lateral spreading and spanwise averaged film-cooling effectiveness as compared to cylindrical hole due to the anti-vortex by side holes which reduced the detrimental vorticity produced by main hole.","PeriodicalId":375482,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116321547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a feed-forward control method is applied to compensate the displacement of the fast tool servo. According to the workpiece surface feature and the tool path, the mathematical model of the minimum setting angle is established to avoid the interference between the tool and the surface to be machined.
