Management and development of sustainable and safe water supply for the city dwellers are completely dependent on ground water and river water availability. The previous years, it has been reflected that Dhaka city experiences water shortage in some areas during the dry season Rainwater harvesting can be an efficient strategy for reducing the present water crisis and minimizing the findings of climate change on water supplies. This study uses rainfall data and the roof surfaces of both residential and business structures to show how rainwater harvesting in Dhaka City could provide a source of potable, clean water. Average rainfall varies from 157 mm to 311 mm in the rainy season. It is found that a maximum of 21% percent of the present water supply can be covered by rainwater harvesting during monsoon.","PeriodicalId":375342,"journal":{"name":"Australian Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127491106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various implemented systems have been offered in the sphere of Home Automation but have apparently failed to provide cost-effective solutions for the same. In this paper, we provide a low-cost smart Home Automation and Security System (HASS) using Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi), and Bluetooth. These materialize the concept of internetworking of smart devices. A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based on Wi-Fi is considered to monitor and control the smart environment, safety as well as electrical parameters of a smart interconnected home. The Android application-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) on a Smartphone is used to give facility to users for seamless control over the devices in a smart home. It may also consist of home security for example access control and alarm systems. When connected to the Internet, home devices are an important element of the Internet of Things (IoT). Home security includes both the security hardware placed on a property and individuals' personal security practices. Security devices consist of a door locking, alert alarm, lighting, motion detectors, and security camera system. Additionally, several special features include such as ensuring windows are closed, each door is locked, all alarms are activated, and extra keys are not secret outside.","PeriodicalId":375342,"journal":{"name":"Australian Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116972854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soil improvement is one of the common methods of improving geotechnical properties and increasing the usability of soil materials. One of the ways to improve the properties of the soil and transform the land into a place where construction is possible is to modify the soil by using additives to it. The use of waste as a material to improve the physical properties of the soil has attracted the attention of researchers. Among these wastes, we can mention rubber wastes, which, in addition to the large volume they occupy, will also cause environmental pollution. In this article, the effect of adding plastic bottle ash on the Zetterberg range and paste properties, the California bearing ratio, and the resistance properties of clay mixed with sand has been investigated. The results of the laboratory tests obtained from this research show the improvement of soil properties by adding plastic bottle ash.","PeriodicalId":375342,"journal":{"name":"Australian Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129816158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research focuses on the quality of LSTM predictions when various activation functions are applied within the context of noisy market data. In this research, we have used 25 different stocks from diverse stock exchanges and observed the predictions created by different activation functions such as Relu, Elu, and TanH. Our research would involve this accuracy within the context of average loss accumulation and price predictions for the stock sample. The market conditions will imply the features of similar epoch runs, and the same training and testing period, which are irrespective of SE and LSTM feature parameters defined by market-benefitting suggestions. This research has found an accuracy of 80% through the multivariable prediction method derived from the Hyperbolic Tangent activation function, suggesting that this function is the best for price prediction based on LSTM through the multivariable method.","PeriodicalId":375342,"journal":{"name":"Australian Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123498830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This effect is crucial for developing nations like Bangladesh, which is currently building out its infrastructure in preparation for fully secure digitization. This study aims to identify the numerous factors that contribute to cybercrime, its challenges, the relationships between different cybersecurity variables, potential solutions to these issues, and various behavioral viewpoints individuals and organizations hold regarding cybercrime victimization. A simple random sampling method has been conducted to collect 200 data from individuals on this topic. Factor analysis based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was fitted to the data to analyze cyber behavior, Binary Logistic Regression was fitted to analyze cyber victimization status and the Poisson Regression model was fitted to analyze victimization frequency. The research demonstrates that the dependent variable cybercrime victimization is strongly associated with the independent variables which are password sharing status, using a common password, cyber security knowledge Status, personal information online storage status, downloading free antivirus from an unknown source, disabling antivirus for downloading, download digital media from an unknown source, clicking links unauthorized sites, personal info Sharing with a stranger over online. According to the regression model's findings, women are more likely than men to experience cybercrime. Cybersecurity knowledge is found to be a key factor in preventing cyberattacks. Additional research on this subject can be conducted utilizing large-scale data to gain more trustworthy conclusions on the underlying factors contributing to cybercrime victimization. Overall, developing a digital Bangladesh where our cyber security is robust can be accomplished by learning about cybersecurity and practicing safe online behavior.","PeriodicalId":375342,"journal":{"name":"Australian Journal of Engineering and Innovative Technology","volume":"243 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127695659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It generalizes vector Majorization and some applications that have come after the publication of Marshall and Olkin Inequalities. It presents the basic properties of Majorization and two important kinds of Majorization which are Weakly Supermajorization and Weakly Submajorization and some relations between them. Furthermore, this paper also contains maps from R^n to R^m which preserve various orders that most of these orders are elementary and useful characterizations of Majorization, as Majorization together with the strongly related concept of Schur-convexity gives an important characterization of convex functions that expresses preservation of order rather than convexity. Also in this study, examples are used to explore the characteristics of majorization, weakly supermajorization, and weakly submajorization as well as the relationships between them. We described the application of majorization on various functions, such as monotonic functions, convex functions, and so on, with some properties by taking into account the concept of our title majorization and its applications on some Functions.
