The measured results show that impedance bandwidth in which return loss is less than −10dB is from 5.7 GHz to 6.1 GHz and from 7.5 GHz to 7.8 GHz. The Axial Ratio (AR) of the antenna is < 3dB and allows the both right-handed (RH) and left-handed (LH) circular polarized (CP) from 7.6 GHz to 7.8 GHz and from 7.5 GHz to 7.6 GHz for linear-polarization. The radiation pattern is quasi-directional on the greater part of the working band. The software CST Microwave studio is used for simulation which results are in great agreement with the measured parameters. The objective functions are fuel cost minimization of generating units, minimization of emission, reduction of real power losses in the transmission lines, voltage profile improvement, and voltage stability enhancement. These improvements include the random selection mechanism for a crossover, the trial operation modification, and finely introducing the mutation process calculations into the selection stage. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, the Improved Differential Evolution (IDE) has been performed on the IEEE 30-bus standard system. The optimization results reveal that the proposed approach has a high convergence speed with good variety. Lastly, the numerical results of the proposed approach are compared with other recent optimization methods. Finite element method (FEM) is adopted to estimate the electric field behaviour along the insulator profile. For this study, COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.3a is used to perform the modelling and executing the field analysis. The effectiveness of zinc-oxide (ZnO) micro-varistor and grading ring as mitigation tools for the electric field intensity enhancement was examined in this study. The reference data from the dry-clean condition was used as the benchmark to examine the effect of pollution on electric field distribution on the insulator surface. It was found that the application of the combined techniques of ZnO micro-varistor and grading ring is the best scheme for stress control as it reduced the electric field intensity up to almost 84% for both dry-clean and polluted conditions. Charging and discharging of energy storage devices take place during running as well as stand-still conditions. Battery-alone EV suffers from range anxiety, current drain during peak power demand and less battery life. It depends on the grid for charging and thus the increasing popularity of EV is increasing burden on the grid. Different energy storage devices are available which could be used on board to form a hybrid energy storage system. Batteries, Ultra-capacitors and fuel cells are some of them. Such a system will act as a stress reduction factor and increase the battery life. In this paper, a detail literature review of various energy storage devices that can be used in EV is presented. A comparative study of various topologies available for this purpose is also presented. In the coming years, the linked drones will be commonly used in different fields such as delivery methods, monitoring services, and defense networks etc. However, security and logical characterization of handover probability in drone systems is still a big problem. Various fuzzy based methods were proposed by a number of researchers to resolve these issues, but the problem with conventional methods was that they considered only limited dependency factors. However, there are some other dependency factors as well that affect the performance of the drones. In this research, a fuzzy based decision model is proposed. The proposed fuzzy system uses five dependency factors such as coverage, speed limit, cost, connection time and security as inputs. To process these inputs 160 rules are defined in the given fuzzy system in order to produce an output in terms of handover probability. The performance analysis of the traditional and proposed model is analyzed in the MATLAB software when they were moving in random and straight directions, in terms of estimation level, PDR, throughput and delay. Thus, a zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowire field effect transistor (NWFET) pH sensor was fabricated and measured. The sensor contained a channel with 1.7×1018 cm-3 donor concentration and 100 ZnO nanowires in parallel, each with the following dimensions: 10 μm×120 nm×20 nm. The active channel is passivated with an 18 nm Al2O3 layer. The device was measured under a controlled environment with and without pH solutions. The pH range was 3–9 with a sensitivity of 2.48 mV to 10.3 mV. The voltage sensitivity translates to a percentage value of 15%.
