Mangrove ecosystems have a high carbon storage value that can support this development. There is a problem of high mangrove degradation caused by economic activities. One of the sectors causing mangrove degradation is the mining sector in the province of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Low-carbon development strategies in mangrove areas are needed to support the increase of sustainable economic activities such as capture fisheries, aquaculture, and mangrove conservation. The objective of this research is to calculate the potential value of sustainable economic activities and develop a low-carbon development strategy in the Rambat Menduyung Mangrove Area. The methods used in this research are economic benefit analysis, benefit transfer analysis of carbon emission factors, and strategy analysis using interpretative structural modeling with Exsimpro software. The results of research suggest that potential economic activities that support low carbon development in mangrove areas, namely mangrove conservation, capture of marine biota, and blood clam production, produce economic benefits of IDR105,723,552,069/year. Prioritizing low-carbon development strategies by improving protection and law enforcement policies and increasing institutional capacity and community participation supported by adequate infrastructure from stakeholders, namely DKP West Bangka, KPHP Rambat Menduyung, and Belo Laut Village Government.","PeriodicalId":374330,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL MANAJEMEN AGRIBISNIS (Journal Of Agribusiness Management)","volume":"60 32","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141651688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If a country exports more than it imports, that country's national income will increase, thus having a positive effect on economic growth. Indonesia has various products that are traded on the international market, one of which is cocoa produced by Bali Province. This research aims to analyze the competitiveness of Bali Province's cocoa exports in the international market along with the factors that influence the cocoa commodity exports. This research is quantitative descriptive research with the data used is annual data on the value of Bali Province cocoa exports for a period of 12 years from 2010 to 2021. The data collection technique used in this research is a literature study in the relevant agency (Disperindag Bali Province). Based on data analysis, it was found that Bali Province's cocoa exports in the period 2010 - 2021 did not have a comparative advantage as shown by the RCA analysis value of 0.54. Meanwhile, if we look at the competitive advantage based on the EPD analysis value, it is found that on average the Bali Province cocoa commodity is in a falling star position, which means it has a competitive advantage but low competitiveness. The export value of Bali Province's cocoa commodities is significantly influenced by the amount of cocoa production, the USD exchange rate, and inflation. Meanwhile, the international price of cocoa has not had a significant effect on the value of Bali Province's cocoa commodity exports.","PeriodicalId":374330,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL MANAJEMEN AGRIBISNIS (Journal Of Agribusiness Management)","volume":"22 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141651345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of this business unit is aimed at supporting an integrated coffee processing industry and being able to produce more efficiently and be able to produce products according to dynamic market demands. The research objectives were to describe governance, to analyze financial feasibility, and to analyze the level of sensitivity of the coffee processing unit in BUMDes Eka Giri Karya Utama. This research was made using descriptive analysis and business feasibility analysis with the investment criteria used being NPV (Net Present Value (NPV), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Payback Period, and sensitivity analysis. The type of data used is primary data collected by in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature study. There are two variables in this study, namely the benefits and costs variables. The results of the study show that the Village Owned Enterprises in their establishment are managed with the spirit of wanting to improve the village economy, making the village an independent village with all the potential that exists in the village. BUMDes management is carried out in a professional, transparent, participatory, and sustainable manner. sources of funds for this business unit come from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, and the local village government. Based on the results of the financial analysis, the NPV value was IDR 679,311,964.218, IRR was 31,60%, Net B/C was 2,85 and PP was 4 years 7 months 2 days. Furthermore, the results of the sensitivity analysis with an increase in operational costs by 25.18% obtained an NPV of IDR 434,079,320.45, an IRR of 23.17%, and a net B/C of 2.12. Then for the assumption of a 14.28% decrease in revenue, an NPV of IDR 388,934,679.50, an IRR of 22.02%, and a Net B/C of 2.02 are obtained. This coffee processing business unit is feasible. After all, it can provide benefits for the manager because it meets the investment criteria. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the assumption of a decrease in revenue is more sensitive than an increase in operational costs. In the future, for business development, managers need to innovate so that products become more attractive and have competitiveness as well as invest in human resources and marketing.","PeriodicalId":374330,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL MANAJEMEN AGRIBISNIS (Journal Of Agribusiness Management)","volume":"47 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141653200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
