The natural events cause many modifications in the control process of the ecosystems. There is a necessity of using a method capable to map, categorize and monitor areas affected by natural events along time. In this article, a novel methodology of change detection is proposed in order to improve the change detection from multi-date satellite image using the source separation. The results obtained by our methodology are efficient and effective.","PeriodicalId":373813,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS)","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124070326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Deal with the problem of intermittency of renewable energy sources have emerged as the biggest interests of the last decade. To overcome the issues inserting batteries to these renewable energy sources is seen as an attractive option. Such energy systems may simultaneously tackle the concerns regarding climate change, energy security, optimal design, and problems related to the battery bank. The present paper proposes the development of a Raspberry Pi-based hardware platform for data acquisition, supervision and energy management of a hybrid PV/WT/Batteries system. It may be speculated that integrating smart technologies in the renewable energy sector into a single hybrid energy system, coupled through informatics linkages, would enable to overcome the drawbacks inherent in the intermittent nature of these energy sources.","PeriodicalId":373813,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114390588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Typically, it consists of two substrates divided by a conductive ground plane in between. The patch is located on top of the upper substrate and the feedline is situated on the bottom substrate. Thereby, this antenna avoids parasitic line radiation which can, in some cases, disrupt side-lobe levels. This communication presents the design of a Multilayered Aperture Coupled Microstrip Antenna (MACMA) for 79 GHz automotive radar applications. This antenna presents in addition a Rohacell HF 51 foam sandwiched between the ground plane and the patch substrate layer. The multilayer substrate is used to minimize the coupling between patch antennas, in particular, surface waves which are not significantly excited on foam dielectric material thanks to the low synthetized permittivity. MACMPA model was done with High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software tool that could treat 3D full-wave electromagnetic structure analysis based on Finite Element Method.","PeriodicalId":373813,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129308049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It addresses the environment influence on these two links using different modulation sizes (BPSK, QPSK, and 16 QAM) for a Smart Grid implementation. Computational simulations based on physical layers of IEEE 1901.2 and IEEE 802.15.4g standards selected for PLC and Wireless channel models show that in rural environment categorized as low density area with very low number of loads and almost no obstacles, RF with BPSK modulation shows higher performance for given SNR value, it performs a gain of 7dB that can be reached compared to PLC link.","PeriodicalId":373813,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114511484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, we propose a new clustering ensemble method inspired from cluster forests (CF) based Self-Adaptive Fuzzy C-Means (SAFCM) method. Firstly, unsupervised feature selection methodology based on the building of best variables on simulated datasets. Next, we ameliorate the CF algorithm with the integration of SAFCM to find also the best number of K groups. Finally, the modified version normalized cuts spectral clustering (Ncut) is applied to general grouping. The proposed algorithm was tested on datasets from UCI Machine Learning Repository. The experimental results indicate that our proposed method outperforms both different clustering algorithms in terms of clustering quality.","PeriodicalId":373813,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133113575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The structure consists of a capacitively loaded loop (CLL) introduced into the near field region of a printed monopole antenna to create multifrequency behavior. The frequency agility was realized by integrating a lumped capacitor between the CLL and the ground plane. A tuning range of 0.654-0.886GHz is successfully achieved when varying capacitance values from 0.5 to 4pF covering LTE and GSM bands while keeping the operating frequency F1=2.65GHz of the reference antenna changeless.
