Abstract

A slotted tag antenna is presented for blood bag monitoring with good reading distance. In addition to the main radiating patch, cuts made into the ground to increase the antenna radiation efficiency and help to self-match the antenna impedance with the RFID microchip NXP G2XM IC chip in TSSOP8 (SOT505-1).
