Previous researchers have proposed convolution architectures for the typical convolutional layer in CNN whose input is larger than the kernel size. However, neural networks are continuously evolving and developing, and there is a deep convolutional layer unlike classic CNNs demands a larger kernel size than the input. In this paper, we conduct a quantitative analysis based on dataflow for various CNN structures. A total of eight 2D CNN structures are described and compared in terms of processing time, total area, and energy efficiency, based on different dataflow graphs. As a result, the comparison provides advantages and disadvantages of the different CNN structures and aids in determining the optimal hardware structure solution for various neural network types.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128013707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents the link communication efficiency using the ZigBee protocol. The test scenarios were in an agricultural slope area that blocked communication from the ground to the top of the mountain. Therefore, to strengthen the communication network, we adjust the number of repeaters to expand the network to communicate effectively. The received signal strength indicator (RSSI) and packet success ratio were recorded using the loopback technique with XCTU software. The results showed that the transmitter to the receiver distance of slope-based 75 m, which utilizes signaling repeaters 1, 2, and 3, increased average RSSI values of -83.1, -81.7, and -79.9 dBm, respectively, and the success rate is 100%. In addition, if the system communicates with only the transmitter and receiver, the network is 100% signal loss affected by the curve area in the mountain. However, this experiment shows that ZigBee-based wireless performance data sets are discussed. Furthermore, the result can further implement ZigBee network installation for agricultural slope areas.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131990207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the development of the Internet and AI technology, concerns about personal information have increased. Therefore, the characteristic of being able to operate in the encrypted state of homomorphic Encryption is suitable for application to personal information security technologies. FHE enables data processing while maintaining security between third parties. However, because the calculation time of FHE is very slow, the high computational cost of homomorphic encryption must be addressed before it can be applied to commerce. We focused on multiplication, the slowest, and the main operation of the homomorphic encryption scheme, Cheon, Kim, Kim, and Song (CKKS). In this paper, we accelerate multiplication operations by assigning blocks and threads of GPUs to FHE polynomials. By implementing Chinese remainder theorem (CRT) operations, one of the detailed kernels of multiplication on the GPU, We achieved about 4x the speed improvement over the CPU.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133741396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The 5G network first launched using the new frequency bands, sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2). With these bands, network operators can provide the data rate higher than Gbps with sufficiently low latency. Moreover, the integration of FR1 and FR2 reduces the congestion when numerous number of devices are connected. This paper aims to propose a design approach for 5G-NR radio planning using both FR1 and FR2 for any selected outdoor and indoor areas, then we show the calculation of the number of base stations that should be installed. The service data rate and coverage area of the base station in both FR1 and FR2 are calculated based on total path loss. The display position of base station and the covered area are shown in Siam Square shopping center Bangkok area for both indoor and outdoor. Fundamentally, BLM-DTO leverages the principle of matching game theory to achieve the stable matching outcome based on preference relations of two sides of the game. Due to the dynamic nature of fog computing environment, the preference relation of one-side game players is unknown a priori and achieved only by iteratively interacting with the other side of players. Thus, BLM-DTO further incorporates multi-armed bandit (MAB) learning using Thompson sampling (TS) technique to adaptively learn their unknown preferences. Extensive simulation results demonstrate the potential advantages of the proposed TS-type offloading algorithm over the ϵ-greedy and upper-bound confidence (UCB)-type baselines.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116385564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each day, more than thousands of passengers are recorded by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to ride the MRT3 and predicting the number of passengers per day can be quite difficult. The ridership of the MRT3 varies daily due to factors such as holidays, working days, and even sudden technical issues. Commuters do not know how many other commuters will board on a certain day and this could lead to difficulty in planning a convenient journey to a destination. Currently, the DOTr relies on historical data plotted on spreadsheets and this can be quite difficult to analyze. In this research, a time series forecasting of daily ridership predicts the future ridership in a specific station on certain days is proposed. The proposed prediction method runs on Azure AutoML to train different models that can give accurate data and uses the ridership data from DOTr. The trained models used include Gradient Boosting, Extreme Random Trees, and Light GBM - these models have the best accuracy.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123911666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the demand for computing and data storage increases, it is necessary to develop high-performance memory to overcome the limitations of operating speed and low power consumption. Recently, neuromorphic systems have been in the spotlight with computing technology that imitates the human brain. Neuromorphic architecture can be an important factor in implementing spike neural network (SNN) – based system hardware with human synaptic learning. Among the candidates for neuromorphic memory systems, resistive random-access memory (ReRAM) is attracting attention for its simple structure and easy design with silicon-based CMOS technology. By spike timing dependent plasticity (STDP), known as the learning rule of synapses, the change in the weight of synapses is equal to the change in the resistance of the synaptic ReRAM device.Therefore, this study proposed a nano-wire electrode based non-volatile synaptic devices with metal-CNTs-oxide-Si (MCOS) structure by synthesizing single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). SWCNTs have excellent electrical properties as they include higher conductivity than copper and have carrier mobility than Si. As the top electrode wire was applied as SWCNTs, the leakage current was reduced, and the high switching performance was shown through self-integration of each cell. Ultimately, it will be an important parameter of device implementation that improves the reliability of memory and the stability of conductance filament (CF).","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124039854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
