The 5G network first launched using the new frequency bands, sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2). With these bands, network operators can provide the data rate higher than Gbps with sufficiently low latency. Moreover, the integration of FR1 and FR2 reduces the congestion when numerous number of devices are connected. This paper aims to propose a design approach for 5G-NR radio planning using both FR1 and FR2 for any selected outdoor and indoor areas, then we show the calculation of the number of base stations that should be installed. The service data rate and coverage area of the base station in both FR1 and FR2 are calculated based on total path loss. The display position of base station and the covered area are shown in Siam Square shopping center Bangkok area for both indoor and outdoor.
